Can Shivaji, Afzal Khan be one? We can’t be brothers: Raja Singh at Solapur

    [ad_1]

Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh at a rally in Solapur, Maharashtra organised by Hindu Janakroash Morcha once again called on Hindus to pick up arms against Muslims and pitched for an economic boycott against the community.

Employing the word ‘Landya’ (an anti-Muslim slur), Singh said that Muslims “trap our sisters and daughters” and when the women are unwilling to be baby-producing machines, they are murdered.

“We are neither scared of dying nor of killing them,” said Singh. Picking up a sheaf of paper while addressing the crowd, Singh remarked that one piece of paper would do nothing to silence him.

Continuing to address the large crowd filled with a sea of saffron-clad men holding flags of the same colour, Singh says, “Those who don’t sing the praises of Bharat Mata, or sing Vande Mataram, or celebrate the anniversary of Chattrapati Shivaji… even those who killed our beloved Sambhaji, we will not purchase anything worth even one rupee from such gaddars (traitors).”

“Can Shivaji and Afzal Khan (general of the Adil Shahi dynasty) become one? Can Maha Rana Prathap and Akbar be one? Can those who worship our mother cow and those who murder her be one?” he asks.

“We sing Vande Mataram and they oppose it. Can we truly be brothers?”

The crowd responds with a thunderous “Nahi” (No).

Singh also spoke about Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s announcement of changing Aurangabad city’s name to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Osmanabad city to Dharashiv.

“Only few names have been changed so far. Many names will be changed shortly. In the coming few days, Ahmednagar’s name will also be changed. All the places named after these Landyas, will also be changed including Hyderabad,” he said.

“No matter when you die, make sure you write history till your death. Fight love-jihadis, protect our mother cow till your death so that your sacrifice doesn’t go in vain. We will neither bend before our enemies or the police. We need people who can fight with us not those who sit at home wearing bangles. May we be free from Love Jihad! May not a drop of Mother cow’s blood touch the floor in India,” he said.

Singh further added, “We need to make sure there are laws against love-jihad. If no laws are made against cow-laughter or love-jihad, every Hindu from India will cut the hand of those who slaughter the cow or perpetuate love-jihad.”

The crowd cheered throughout Singh’s speech.

  • Hyderabad: Suspended BJP MLA Raja Singh gets new bulletproof car

Hyderabad: Suspended BJP MLA Raja Singh gets new bulletproof car

    [ad_1]

Hyderabad: The city police department replaced the BR (bulletproof) vehicle of Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh and provided him with a white coloured Fortuner bullet resistant vehicle on Monday. The vehicle was sent to his residence.

However, the MLA is out of town on some personal work and police department officials communicated to him about the decision to replace his old black car with a white coloured vehicle. BJP Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh, who is currently still under suspension, is reportedly also exploring all options including contesting as ondependent candidate from Amberpet constituency once held by Union Minister G Kishan Reddy.

Earlier, Raja Singh held a protest demanding his vehicle be replaced because it is developing snags. In early February, Raja Singh held a protest outside chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s official residence Pragathi Bhavan. The Goshamahal left his car there after one of the tyres came-off while he was commuting. The next day, he went to the Legislative Assembly on his motorcycle.

Raja Singh reportedly faces a security threat and has been provided with a BR vehicle and has also been extended with a 2 + 2 security cover. Raja Singh is also currently facing a gag order from the Telangana high court, which doesn’t allow him to hold rallies or public events in the state.

With state elections approaching in the next six months, Raja Singh has managed to circumvent the gag order by participating in Hindutva rallies outside the state. He has been doing the same from the last few weeks in Maharashtra. It has been learnt that the two-time Goshamahal MLA is reportedly exploring all options, including contesting as an independent candidate from Amberpet constituency that was earlier held by Union Minister G Kishan Reddy in Hyderabad.

BJP looking at other faces for Goshamahal?

Sources closer to the MLA said Raja Singh is quite confident of his win from Goshamahal or Amberpet seat in 2023 assembly elections. The Goshamahal constituency has six sitting BJP corporators and at least two of them are aspiring to get an MLA ticket from the party because already Raja Singh contested twice.

Raj Singh is currently out on bail after he was arrested for his derogatory remarks on Prophet Muhammad last year, which led to several protests. While quashing Singh’s detention in jail under the PD Act last year, the High Court, as part of its bail order, warned the BJP MLA was told not to make provocative speeches or speak in public.

So far, a case has already been registered against him in recent times for violating the court orders (with the Mangalhat police station). He was served another notice by the Hyderabad police on January 29 for a hate speech in Mumbai. Raja Singh is currently unable to carry out political campaigns or hold public rallies as he would have ideally done in the run-up to the polls. It is unsure how the state judiciary will react to him making speeches outside, with the logic that it is beyond the HC’s jurisdiction.

    BJP exploring other options?

On the other hand, sources also told Siasat.com that the BJP state leadership reportedly interacted some members of the Lodh Kshatriya community, which Raja Singh belongs to. Sources said at least two members of the community had evinced interest in contesting the elections this year from Goshamahal if the party gives them a ticket. Nevertheless, community elders however said they don’t want any conflict in the community over politics.

Tejashwi assures action against Sudhakar Singh for repeated attacks on CM

    [ad_1]

Patna: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Monday said that his RJD will take action against MLA and former minister Sudhakar Singh for repeatedly targeting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

“The party has already taken his clarification for attacking Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Still, he is repeatedly attacking him. It indicates that he was guided by BJP and RSS and playing on their pitch. The matter is in the cognisance of party’s national President Lalu Prasad Yadav and he has asked national General Secretary Abdul Bari Siddiqui to look after it,” he said.

“At present, the health of Abdul Bari Siddiqui is not right. Once he recovers from the illness, he will form a committee to probe this matter and submit the report before Lalu Prasad Yadav to take action against him,” Yadav added.

Sudhakar Singh on Monday said that the Nitish Kumar government has failed in every sector in the state.

Earlier JD-U MLC Sanjay Singh strongly objected to the repeated statement of Sudhakar Singh against Nitish Kumar after the meeting of Mahagathbandhan’s legislators in Bihar Vidhan Sabha.

“The water has gone above the head. When will the RJD take action against him?” he asked.

UP: Folk singer Neha Singh Rathore served notice for targeting govt

    [ad_1]

Kanpur Dehat: Famous folk singer Neha Singh Rathore, who is known for her ‘UP Mein Ka Ba’ songs, has been served a 160 CrPC notice by the Akbarpur Kotwali police.

Neha had taken a jibe at the state government by posting several songs including ‘UP Mein Ka Ba’ from her Twitter handle, Facebook and YouTube channel after a mother-daughter were burnt alive in Madauli village in Kanpur Dehat during an anti-encroachment drive.

CO Akbarpur Prabhat Kumar said that various tweets and oral complaints were received that Neha’s songs are spreading discrimination and disharmony in society.

Taking cognizance of this, an explanation has been sought from her through a notice within three days.

It has been asked in the notice whether the internet media platforms on which these songs were posted are run by her herself or by someone else.

The police asked her whether the songs she sang were written by her or given by someone and also what is the basis of writing and singing songs.

If the explanation is not given, the police will take further legal action, the CO said.

Neha had sung the song ‘UP Mein Ka Ba’ even before the 2022 Assembly elections and this as apparently a rejoinder to BJP MP and Bhojpuri star Ravi Krishan’s ‘UP Mein Sab Ba’.

Maha: No love jihadi shall remain alive, says Raja Singh at public rally

    [ad_1]

Suspended Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member and former Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh made a call for ‘Undivided Hindu Rashtra’ on the occasion of Shivaji Jayanthi in Maharashtra.

Addressing a huge public rally in Latur district on Sunday, Raja spoke about Love Jihad, Hindu Rashtra, and his recent arrest by the Telangana police.

He also mentioned Afzal Khan, a general who served the Adil Shahi dynasty of Bijapur Sultanate during the 1600s, was killed by Chhatrapati Shivaji.

With Afzal as a reference, Singh made a provocative statement that said, “Jitne Afzal ke naajayaz awlaade hai, un sabko nahi chodna. Shivaji Maharaj ne Afzal ka seena phaadkar bagwaa rang lehraya tha. Aaj har gali mein, har vidhaan sabha mein ek Afzal hai. Tho socho hamein kitne Chhatrapati Maharaj ka roop lena hoga (Today, Afzal Khan’s descendants are found in every lane, every Vidhan Sabha. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj murdered Afzal Khan and raised the Hindu flag. Just think, how many of us have to become a Shivaji to murder an Afzal).”

He then spoke about love jihad provoking the crowd to murder every Muslim man who is in a relationship with a Hindu woman.  “Hamare Maharashtra ke dharthi per koi bhi love jihadi zinda na bache. Aaj hamari bahu-beti ko behla-phuslakar Love Jihad ke naam per fasaya jaa raha hai. Bacha paida karne ki machine banaya jaa raha hai. Rape and unke tukde kiya jaa raha hai. (No love jihadi will survive on the soil of Maharashtra. They trap Hindu women and make them slaves by producing more and more children. They rape them and cut them into pieces),” Raja said.

Hamare secular bhaiyon aur beheno ko batana chahatha hoon ki hum kabhi bhai-behen nahi ho sakthe. (I just want to convey to my secular brothers and sisters that we can never be brothers),” Raja spoke among energizing cheering among the crowd.

Singh went on to raise slogans such as ‘humse jo takrayega mitti mein mil jayega’ as the crowd cheered on.

Raja Singh also mentioned his recent bail and the restrictions imposed on him by the Telangana High Court and police.

Mujhe police ka notice diya gaya ki aapko kuch bhi nahi bolna hai. Maine kahan bilkul, hum kuch nahi bolenge. Lekin ithihaas kabhi jhuk nahi saktha aur Raja Singh kabhi rukh nahi saktha. Hamare dharam ke liye humne hamari kursi ko bhi laath maar di hai. Mera ek hee sankalp hai, jab tak jeeyoon, Chhatrapati Maharaj ke marg darshan per jeeyon. (I was told by the police not to say a word. I said ok. But history cannot be erased and Raja Singh cannot be tied down. I gave up my MLA position for my religion. I just want to live under the guidance of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj till my end.),” he said.

On August 23 last year, T Raja Singh was booked by the Telangana police under the PD Act (Preventive Detention Act) for making derogatory remarks against the Prophet Mohammed in a video posted by him.

His comments lead to scores of people protesting on the streets demanding his arrest. The Telangana unit of the BJP also disassociated itself from his statements.

He was granted bail in February by the Telangana High Court after spending 76 days in prison.
