Jr NTR removed from N.T. Rama Rao’s centenary celebration guest list?

Hyderabad: The countdown to the grand celebration of the birth centenary of iconic actor and politician N. T. Rama Rao has begun. However, his grandson, the talented Jr NTR, has been reportedly omitted from the guest list, which appears to be a major disappointment among his fans and supporters.
According to Track Tollywood reports, Jr NTR, who is carrying on his grandfather’s legacy, is absent from the list of invited guests. This has raised a lot of eyebrows and sparked a lot of emotions among Nandamuri fans. They believe Jr NTR has been excluded and rejected by his own family.
The announcement of Vijayawada’s centenary celebrations on April 28th has taken the town by storm. The event is expected to be attended by the Indian film industry’s who’s who, including superstar Rajinikanth. However, the absence of Jr NTR from the guest list has disappointed many of his fans.

Sri Rama Navami Shoba Yatra ‘peaceful’, says Hyderabad Police

Hyderabad: City police on Thursday said that meticulous planning, supervision by its senior officers, coordination with other departments the perfect execution of commands by the field personnel ensured that the Sri Rama Navami Shoba Yatra procession ended on a ‘peaceful’ note here on Thursday.
“Thanks to the technology which helped in live monitoring the procession, crowd movement, and traffic flow,” a press release said.
City police commissioner CV Anand paid a field visit to the entire procession stretch in the morning and encouraged the Utsav committee to start their procession early which it finally did at 1.45 pm.
The Anand Singh and MLA Raja Singh processions followed and weaved their way through the Mangalhat, Begum Bazaar Chhatri, Siddiambar Bazaar, Gowliguda, and Koti areas and finally reached the Hanuman Vyamshala amidst huge and boisterous crowds.
All the events were watched closely from the joint command control center in Basheer Bagh where officials of RTC, R&B, GHMC, EMRI, Fire, and Electricity were present.
CV Anand monitored the live drone footage, CCTV feeds, and radio communications and gave timely instructions to the field officers. Senior officers descended to the field and ensured that the procession moved on.
Around thousands of police, persons were deployed for Bando bust in sensitive areas.
“The procession was completed peacefully with the cooperation of organizers, other govt departments, devotees, and the general public.” Said CP Anand.

Hyderabad: As the suspended Goshamahal BJP MLA Raja Singh, joined the main rally when it passed via Mangalhat, a portrait of Godse appeared. People who joined Singh’s fringe rally waved photos of Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin, now a beloved Hindutva figure.
The Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra in the city here began at Sitarambagh Temple near Asif Nagar on Thursday. The event initially began with a few hundred members and slowly grew bigger as it passed via the Mangalhat police station area.
As another procession by the Sri Ram Yuva Sena, headed by suspended Goshamahal BJP MLA Raja Singh, joined the main rally when it passed via Mangalhat, a portrait of Godse appeared. People who joined Singh’s fringe rally waved photos of Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin, now a beloved Hindutva figure.
Artists, cultural troupes and musical bands brought in by the Sri Ram Navami Utsav Committee also participated in the procession right from the beginning. DJs played Hindutva songs at the event, which last year witnessed hate speeches being made. Raja Singh, who has been banned from participating in political public meetings by the Telangana High Court, made a small speech at the event.
“Our elders worked hard and made the Ram temple a reality. It will soon be inaugurated. Our focus now has to be on Kashi and Mathura temples, for which we need to fight. Hindus should not be afraid of anyone. One Hindu can fight 10,000 people. There is nothing to fear, and we have to form a Hindu Rashtra,” Raja Singh.
At around 3 pm the procession was at the Mangalhat police station road. From there it will pass via Begum Bazar and other areas. According to sources, Hindutva leaders and participants will make a pledge to make Hindu Rashtra.

Tight security for Rama Navami Shobha Yatra in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Hyderabad police are taking all necessary measures to ensure that the Rama Navami Shobha Yatra passes smoothly. To maintain peace and security, around 1,500 policemen have been deployed to monitor the procession.
The procession will begin from Seetarambagh temple at 9 am on Thursday and will culminate around 7 pm on the same night at Hanuman Vyamshala grounds, Koti.
Senior police officials, including Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand, will be monitoring the procession, and at sensitive spots, police pickets will be posted.
To ensure that the procession remains peaceful, a command and control center will monitor the procession with the help of surveillance and drone cameras. In addition, the social media team of the IT cell and the SMASH team will keep an eye on social media platforms to ensure that the peaceful atmosphere is not disturbed.
Meanwhile, ahead of the procession, the Siddiamber Bazar mosque and a dargah have been covered with cloth.

The traffic on the procession route will be diverted when it goes through the designated route, and the traffic police have advised commuters to take alternate routes to reach their desired destinations.
The diversion points under Goshamahal Traffic Police Station are Mallepalli Junction, Boiguda Kaman, Aghapura Junction, Gode-ki-Khabar, Puranapool X Road, MJ Bridge, Labour Adda, Alaska T Junction, SA Bazar U Turn and MJ Market. Whereas, the diversion points under Sulthanbazar Traffic Police Station are Afzalgunj T Junction, Rangmahal Junction, Putlibowli X Road, Andhra Bank X Road, DM & HS X Road, Sultan Bazar X Road, Chaderghar X Road, Kachiguda Inox, GPO Abids, Yousufian & Company and Boggulakunta X Road.

Hyderabad cops that are leaving no stone unturned to maintain peace and security will keep a close watch on the movement of Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh and his followers.

As it is the first procession for the MLA after being suspended by BJP for passing derogatory remarks against Prophet Mohammed, he is putting all his efforts to make the current year’s Sri Ram Navami Shobha Yatra in Hyderabad a grand success.

Raja Singh to lead Rama Navami procession
Controversial MLA T Raja Singh of Goshamahal who is currently suspended from BJP is set to lead the Ram Navami Shobha Yatra in Hyderabad on March 30.
On his Twitter, he shared his video inviting all ‘Ram-bhakt’ to join the procession.

Last year, he made provocative statements during the procession, and the Shahinayathgunj police station registered a case against the MLA.

In his speech, Singh spoke against the alleged boycott of Hindu vendors in the Old city on the occasion of Ramzan. He said, “If Hindus were to target the traitors (Muslims) similarly, they would run out of business and would not even be in a position to beg as even alms are given to the poor by Hindus.”
He further remarked, “If Hindus awaken, all Muslims will be vanquished.”
In August last year, the police issued a notice to the MLA in the hate speech case.

Ramzan, Sri Rama Navami, Hanuman Jayanthi: Hyderabad police hold meet

Hyderabad: City police commissioner CV Anand said that measures will be taken for the peaceful and safe celebration of three upcoming festivals in this month in a video conference with police officials from across the city.
As Ramzan, Sri Rama Navami, and Hanuman Jayanthi are falling in the same month, he instructed the officers to remain vigilant and enhance visible policing to render swift responses. Joint inspections with other departments along the procession routes were mandated.
To avoid inconvenience to devotees and commuters, Anand stressed crowd monitoring and traffic management at religious places. Further, the officials were instructed to work beyond their working hours during the festive month.
The commissioner stressed the need to keep a close tab on hate mongers and netizens who post blasphemous or instigating posts on social media. Directives were given to file cases and expedite the issuance of notices to the perpetrators.
Directions were given to all the officials to closely monitor and minimize delays in the movement of processions. Joint operations with various departments were mandated along the procession routes.
“Bind overall communal rowdies, suspects sector-wise and police station-wise. Revive peace committees and on board members who have genuine intent to serve the community,” he added.
The city police chief said, “The new Drones & Cameras Maintenance Organisation (D-CAMO) will coordinate with all police stations to take up repairs and maintenance of cameras in the city,” said the city police
Commissioner Anand emphasised the importance of anti-sabotage checks and liaising with other emergency services during the upcoming festivals. He urged everyone to work together to ensure that the celebrations are conducted peacefully and without any untoward incidents.

Hyderabad will produce more than 1,400 crore vaccines, says KT Rama Rao

Hyderabad: Telangana minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday said that Telangana produces one-third of human vaccines which is more than 35 per cent, with 900 crore vaccines produced by Hyderabad.
By next year around 1,400 crore vaccines will be produced from Hyderabad, KTR stated.
“Hyderabad also has the largest number of USFDA-approved manufacturing pharmaceutical companies for a single province in the world which is 214 units. The second largest is in New Jersey with 189 units,” KTR further stated.
KTR stated that the third most important thing is Hyderabad also has the largest medical devices park in India where we also have Asia’s largest stunt manufacturing facility, so Hyderabad in fact one of the most important life sciences hubs.
“We are also going to be launching Hyderabad Pharma city which will again be a very large Pharma cluster in the world. So consolidating all these strengths in life sciences our ambition is to continue what we have started and take it to the next level,” he further stated.
He added, “So we have been conducting an event called Bio Asia for 19 years and this year is the 20th year of Bio Asia. Very hopeful with International partners such as the United Kingdom, and Belgium and representatives from more than 55 different countries. With more than 2,500 participants, this event will become a huge success.”
He further stated, “I’m also constantly in touch with various industry bodies and industry associations who participated, we have Nobel laureates and we have world-renowned scientists and also industrialists participating in this event. I’m looking forward to this with great enthusiasm, there will be a number of investment announcements, a number of MOUs announced, and there will be an exhibition where a number of new companies exhibit their products.”
