Repair of the indoor skating rink completed in Raychikhinsk in the Amur region

In the city of Raychikhinsk, Amur Region, the repair of an indoor skating rink has been completed. The opening will take place on Saturday, March 4, according to the regional Ministry of Sports.
The contractor repaired the porch, partially replaced the windows and doors, and put in order the showers and the wooden covering along the stands. Workers also replaced the protective fence around the site.
As clarifies Amur News Serviceat the expense of the charitable foundation for the skating rink, they purchased knives for the ice-removing machine and a machine for sharpening them, fencing nets, lockers for the locker room, and hockey simulators.
The skating rink will be open to visitors on weekends from 13:00 to 20:00. The cost of one hour of rental will be 100 rubles, with your own skates – 80 rubles per hour.
“If the demand for the skating rink is high, then the administration of the sports complex is ready to make weekdays work as well. In addition, the issue is being worked out, so that local schools and colleges can conduct physical education lessons at the rink, ”said the acting. Minister for Physical Culture and Sports Andrey Kondratiev.
The site is expected to be open until May.

Modi Has Completed Integration Of J&K Into India: Amit Shah

SRINAGAR: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said that by reading- down of Article 370, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made the “merger” of Jammu Kashmir forever with India.
Speaking at an election rally in Sandur, Karnataka, on Thursday, Shah praised the government’s move and highlighted the significant improvement in the situation in Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation.
Shah refuted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s claims of a bloodbath in the region, stating that the abrogation has led to the lowest figures of terrorism-related incidents. The Home Minister also added that the move has led to a lot of positive changes in the region.
The abrogation of Article 370, which had caused harm to the country, was a significant move made by the BJP-led government in 2019, Shah said.
Despite opposition from various political parties, the government’s decision has ensured the integration of Jammu and Kashmir into India permanently. The improved situation in the region has been well-received and is a cause for celebration for the entire country, he added.

Srinagar Smart City Projects Will Be Completed In Stipulated Time: Div Com Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Bidhuri on Saturday said the ongoing development works in the city centre Lal Chowk for smart city projects have taken pace as the work is going on in double shifts, while the next two months are crucial in view of the proposed G20 meeting in Srinagar.
Talking to reporters after taking review of development works in Lal Chowk, Bidhuri, as per the news agency KNO said in the coming two month people might have to face inconvenience as some roads will be closed to complete the development works.
He said the development works will be completed in a stipulated time as work is going on in double shifts.
“We had started works when there was no proposal for G20 meeting in Srinagar, but since it has been proposed to hold the meeting here it benefitted us as we started work in double shifts. The projects will be completed in time now,” he said.

Upgradation of Tirupati Railway Station to be completed by Feb, 2025

Tirupati: The upgradation work of Tirupati Railway Station to cater the needs of the rail passengers for the next 40 years is proceeding at brisk pace and is scheduled to be completed in two years
The South Central Railway (SCR), which started the upgradation work in May 2022, said on Tuesday that the work is being monitored at all levels so as to ensure timely completion of the project. The work has been awarded under EPC mode and the entire project is targeted for completion by February, 2025.
A new station building is coming up on the South side of the existing station building. After completion of geological survey, setting-up of camp office, concrete lab and storage sheds, remaining works have continued to move in a fast manner.
The concreting of the foundations has been completed 100 per cent for the new upcoming station building. Till date, about 7,450 cubic meters of concrete has been used in foundations, columns of basement floor and retaining wall.
The SCR said in the next phase, work related to centering and shuttering of the concrete slab for the basement floor has commenced and is progressing briskly. As on date, almost 20 per cent of the work has already been completed. An underground water tank with a capacity to hold 29 litres of water is to come up as part of the new station building. For this, both excavation works for construction of underground tank as well as concreting of its foundations has also been completed.
Two new air concourses are planned to be constructed as part of the upgraded station to handle both incoming as well as outgoing passenger passengers. These air concourses will be of 35 meters width and will connect all the platforms of the station and also both sides (North as well as South) of the Station buildings.
Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, SCR stated that the upgradation works of Tirupati station are being monitored regularly so that the work is not hampered and it is completed within the targeted time. He also stated that the works are taken up with utmost caution to ensure least inconvenience to the passengers and train movements in the station.
