An unidentified body of a man has been recovered from Badi Nambal Parihaspora Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday afternoon.
Official sources told a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS), that locals of Parihaspora Diver, spotted a body lying in Badi Nambal area of Parihaspora pattan on Tuesday afternoon and accordingly informed the concerned police post about it.
Soon after receiving the information, a police party rushed towards the spot and taken the body to nearby hospital for medico legal formalities .
An official told GNS that a body has been recovered from Badinambal Parihaspora, adding that the identification of deceased person is being ascertained. (GNS)

A Kashmiri truck driver was allegedly assaulted in Punjab’s Makerian area by the operators of a toll post without any provocation, Jammu Kashmir Truck Operators Welfare Union said on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, they said, Yesterday an incident took place at Makerian Toll plaza Punjab in which a truck driver named Sahil Maqbool a resident of Kulgam was ruthlessly beaten by the employees of Mekerain Toll plaza and one employee even hit him with a rod on his head by which he received very serious injuries.
In this connection, JK Truck Operators Welfare Union held a meeting in their Anantnag office to discuss these types of incidents which take place time and again, the union said.
The President JK Truck Operators Welfare Union has appealed to the LG Manoj Sinha to discuss the issue with Punjab Government.
Meanwhile, an FIR has been lodged at the Police station in the area.

At least 28 persons suffered injuries after a passenger bus they were on board, met with an accident near Handwara of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district this morning, officials said.
They told GNS that a bus bearing registration number JK09-1239, on way from Kupwara to Srinagar, met with an accident near Watayin area, resulting in injuries to some 28 passengers. “The injured passengers were subsequently evacuated to District Hospital Handwara for treatment, from where five persons were referred to different hospitals for preferential treatment”, the official said.
Detailing further, the official said, Irshad Ahmad son of Ghulam Qadir, resident of Tral & Mukhti Begum wife of Ghulam Rasool Mir, resident of Vodhpora Handwara have been referred to Bone and Joint Hospital Barzulla while as Parveena Begum, her minor child name Musaib Ahmad and Irshad Ahmad Bhat son of Wali Mohammad Bhat Chogal Handwara were referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for preferential treatment.
Confirming the incident, a police official told GNS that a case has been registered in this regard.
