Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Pipelines Division, has released an official notification for the engagement of 537 Apprentices in both Technical and Non-Technical trades. The application process for these positions started on 29th August 2025 and will remain open till 18th September 2025.

The vacancies include Technician Apprentice (Mechanical, Electrical, Telecommunication & Instrumentation), Trade Apprentice (Accountant, Assistant-Human Resource), Data Entry Operator, and Domestic Data Entry Operator. The apprenticeship training will be for a duration of 12 months across various regions including Eastern, Western, Northern, Southern, and South Eastern.

Eligible candidates who fulfill the required qualifications and age criteria can submit their applications online within the given time frame. Vacancy Details:
IOCL Pipelines Division has announced a total of 537 Apprentice vacancies distributed region-wise. Eastern Region has 156 posts, Western Region has 152 posts, Northern Region has 97 posts, Southern Region has 47 posts, and South Eastern Region has 85 posts.

Eligibility Criteria:
For Technician Apprentice (Mechanical), candidates must hold a full-time 3-year Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering. For Technician Apprentice (Electrical), a full-time 3-year Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering is required. For Telecommunication & Instrumentation, candidates must possess a full-time 3-year Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication, Radio Communication, Instrumentation & Control, or Electronics Engineering. For Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource), a full-time Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University is needed. For Trade Apprentice (Accountant), candidates must have a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce. For Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices), minimum 12th pass qualification is required. For Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders), minimum 12th pass along with a Skill Certificate in Domestic Data Entry Operator issued by NSQF recognized authority is needed.

The minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 24 years as of 31st August 2025, with relaxation for reserved categories as per rules.

How to Apply:
Interested candidates must register themselves on the NATS or NAPS portal according to their respective trade. After registration, they must complete the application on the IOCL Pipelines portal at plapps.indianoilpipelines.in before 18th September 2025. Applicants should use the same email ID and mobile number throughout the process.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination, followed by document verification and medical fitness. There will be no written test or interview.

Border Security Force has invited online applications for Head Constable posts. There are a total of 1121 vacancies notified in the official announcement. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these posts through the online mode.

As per the notification, the registration process will start from August 24, 2025, and continue till September 23, 2025. The selection of candidates will be through multiple stages including physical tests, computer based test and document verification. The application fee for male candidates of Unreserved, OBC and EWS categories is 100 rupees per post. Female candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, BSF departmental, ex servicemen and compassionate appointment categories are exempted from fee payment. Payment can be made by debit card, credit card, net banking or authorised common service centre.

Selection Process:
The selection will include PST and PET, computer based test, dictation test for Radio Operator, paragraph reading for Radio Operator and document verification. The computer based test will carry 200 marks and will be of two hours duration. For Radio Operator, merit list will be based on 200 marks of CBT plus 50 marks of dictation test. For Radio Mechanic, merit list will be based on 200 marks of CBT.
