LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship: LIC will give scholarship of Rs 40000 every year to 10th and 12th pass students, application form till 22 December.
Notification of LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship has been issued. For this, 10th and 12th pass students can fill the online application form. In this, students will be provided scholarship up to ₹ 40000 per year. Online application forms for this scholarship have started and the last date to apply is 22 December.
The scholarship is to be awarded for students studying in India in a Government or Private college/university. It shall also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and also Integrated Courses after XII Std. Scholarships shall be of two types; General Scholarship and Special Scholarship for Girl Child.
Eligibility for LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship
Candidates who meet following criteria are eligible to apply for scholarship. All candidates who have passed Class XII exam (or its equivalent – Regular/Vocational) / Diploma with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2021-22/2022-23/2023-24.
All candidates who have passed Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2021-22/2022-23/2023-24.
Candidates who have passed class 10th with minimum 60% marks in the year 2022, 2023 or 2024 and then taken admission in the first year of vocational or diploma course in the current academic session 2024-25 and their family annual income does not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh, such candidates can fill the application form for this scholarship.
Female Candidates who have passed Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2021- 2022/2022-23/2023-24.

Benefits of LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship
An amount of Rs.40,000/- per annum, will be awarded to the selected Scholar who pursues higher education in the field of Medicine (MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS) and shall be payable every year in two instalments Rs.20000/- each during the duration of the course, subject to eligibility.
An amount of Rs.30,000/- per annum, will be awarded to the selected Scholar who pursues higher education in the field of Engineering (BE, BTECH, BArch) and shall be payable every year in two instalments of Rs.15000/- each during the duration of the course, subject to eligibility.
An amount of Rs.20,000/- per annum will be awarded to the selected Scholars who pursues education in the field of Graduation in any discipline, Integrated Courses, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses, Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges /Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and shall be payable every year in two instalments of Rs.10000/- each during the duration of the course, subject to eligibility.
Application Process for LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship
After submitting the online application, the candidate will receive an acknowledgement email at the email address provided in the application. The Divisional Office of LIC mentioned in the acknowledgement email will handle any further correspondence. Candidate should ensure they provide correct and valid email address and contact number as these may be needed for future communication.
