MediaTek may soon launch updated version of ‘Dimensity 9200’ chip

San Francisco: Chip-maker MediaTek is expected to soon launch an updated version of the ‘Dimensity 9200’ processor which it unveiled last year.
The information came from a reputed Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station who claimed that “Dimensity 9200+” is on the way, reports Gizmochina.
The updated processor is expected to be the most powerful 5G chipset from the company this year.
The new chipset is expected to be designed with the 1+3+4 architecture, and the main frequency of its super-large core might exceed 3.05GHz.
Also, the processor will likely be manufactured by TSMC on its second-generation 4nm process.
The AnTuTu score of Dimensity 9200 exceeded 1.2 million points, so the Dimensity 9200+ might go above 1.3 million points.
“The commercial release of the Dimensity 9200+ chip is anticipated to take place in the latter half of this year,” the report said.
The current Dimensity 9200 features MediaTek’s HyperEngine 6.0 Gaming Technology, and also incorporates a built-in 5G modem with AI for faster network searching, 5G connection recovery from dead zones, and other intelligent connectivity features.

Nick Jonas releases his version of ‘Maan Meri Jaan’, King gets ‘goosebumps’

Mumbai: American pop star Nick Jonas has finally unveiled his version of Indian rapper King’s blockbuster track ‘Maan Meri Jaan’ and the latter said that he got “goosebumps”.
The new version of ‘Maan Meri Jaan’, which is titled ‘Maan Meri Jaan (Afterlife)’ features English vocals from Nick. The song was released on March 10.
The lyrics of the song are mostly the same sung by King, to which Nick has lent his vocal prowess and added lyrics in English. Nick can also be heard singing the hook line ‘Tu Maan Meri Jaan’ at one point.
The American pop star took to Instagram, where he shared the revamped version and captioned it: “Let’s get it!! ‘Maan Meri Jaan (Afterlife)’ with @ifeelking is out now.”
King commented: “Today is the day Ill never forget. Thanks brother. Every time Im’ listening to this 100% goosebumps… Lets gooo”
The song on Nick’s Instagram has over 1,31,096 likes and 1.3 million views on the Instagram at the time of filing this report.

VCK screens Tamil version of banned BBC documentary on PM

Chennai: VCK founder-leader Thol Thirumavalavan has said that the “politics of hate” practiced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi must be opposed.
On the occasion of the screening of the Tamil version of the BBC documentary on the Prime Minister at the party headquarter ‘Ambedkar Thidam’ on Sunday, Thirumavalavan said that Narendra Modi reached the top by spreading the politics of hate. He said that Modi has not come to the top by pursuing ideological politics or by fighting for the welfare of the poor and the working class.
Thol Thirumavalavan stated, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has grown and reached the top by spreading hate and letting loose violence claiming that only he has the ability to do such things. That’s how he grew from a state-level leader to a national leader.”
He said that a few organizations like the VCK and the Dravidar Kazhagam (DK) were opposing the politics of the BJP and added that the discussion should be on what would happen to the country if Narendra Modi came back to power in 2024.
The VCK founder said that many are opposed to the politics of the VCK and the DK and are critical of Periyarism. He said, “We are not saying that Dravidar politics or Periyarism are beyond criticism but at present, the biggest challenge before us is Modi’s politics of hate.”
He asked, “How are we going to overcome the politics of hate practiced by Modi.”
The screening of the documentary by the Left activists was prevented in some campuses. This has led to the CPI-M Tamil Nadu state secretary, K. Balakrishnan issuing a statement calling upon the government to protect the basic rights of individuals.
VCK leader and Member of Parliament from Villupuram constituency D. Ravikumar, Tamil movie director Vettrimaran, and Dravidar Kazhagam leader Kali Poonkundran were present at the screening of the documentary.

ChatGPT’s paid version available for USD 42 a month for some early users

New Delhi: Some ChatGPT users on Monday posted on social media that they have been granted access to a “ChatGPT Professional” version which costs $42 a month.
OpenAI, the Microsoft-owned AI company that developed the sensational chatbot, was yet to confirm the pricing.
AI developer Zahid Khawaja posted the screenshot of ChatGPT pricing, showing $42 per month. He said that paid system responds faster than the free version.
However, another Twitter user posted that “I very much wanted to pay for a plan but 42$ is just too much”.
AI research organisation OpenAI has said it will soon monetise its ChatGPT platform, after seeing a mammoth response to its AI chatbot that can write poems, essays, emails and even codes.
The Microsoft-owned company said it is “starting to think about how to monetize ChatGPT” as a way to “ensure long-term viability.”
“Working on a professional version of ChatGPT; will offer higher limits and faster performance,” said Greg Brockman, President and Co-Founder, OpenAI.
ChatGPT last reported over a million users.

ChatGPT Professional will be always available (no blackout windows), fast responses from ChatGPT (no throttling) and as many messages as you need (at least 2X regular daily limit).
“If you are selected, we’ll reach out to you to set up a payment process and a pilot. Please keep in mind that this is an early experimental programme that is subject to change, and we are not making paid pro access generally available at this time,” said the company.
