    Srinagar: A trainer & motivator named Vijayam Kartha on Tuesday inaugurated the National Child Development Council’s (NCDC’s) 68th batch of International Montessori Education, during the event, which was held in presence of NCDC members and aspirants of the batch.

    The inaugural programme was conducted on the directions of Global Goodwill Ambassador of India, and Master Trainer, NCDC, Baba Alexander, which was started at 10 AM in the morning.

    On the occasion, the chief guest of the event, Vijayam Kartha addressed the aspiring teachers, and wished them good luck for future endeavours.

    One of the members in the NCDC has said that, “National Child Development Council is a leading Montessori Training Institution in India, which delivers high quality education to aspiring teachers.”

    Meanwhile, Bindu S of NCDC has been appointed as Evaluator for 68th batch, while Sheeba PK has been appointed aa Faculty for the batch.

    Notably, NCDC is a self-governing national child welfare organization established to promote women and child welfare and ensure child education in India.

    Iran unveils final prototype of indigenous jet trainer

    Tehran: Iran has unveiled the final prototype of a jet trainer that can help pilots learn tactics and techniques of air and air-to-surface combats, state media reported.

    Dubbed Yasin, the aircraft can also be tasked with close air support, said Iranian Defence Minister Mohammadreza Ashtiani at a ceremony held to launch an aircraft assembly line in Tehran, according to official news agency IRNA.

    Equipped with homegrown subsystems such as ejection seats, avionics, engines and landing gears, the final prototype is much upgraded and developed in tactical terms compared to the first one unveiled in October 2019, according to a report by semi-official Tasnim news agency.

    A domestically-developed airborne weather radar has also been installed, said the report.

    Ashtiani said the aircraft can accomplish a wide range of missions and will help significantly reduce the length of training, while improving its quality, Xinhua news agency reported.

    Mumbai: Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor underwent an intensive training to achieve a well-chiseled body for his latest release ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’.

    The actor’s fitness trainer Shivoham took to Instagram to praise Ranbir for showing dedication and discipline towards achieving a ripped look for Luv Ranjan’s directorial.

    Ranbir’s fitness trainer took to his Instagram to share two shirtless pictures of the actor flaunting his washboard abs.

    He wrote: “What you see is truly an example of a disciplined lifestyle, dedication and a lot of hardwork. It’s a team effort and results like this cannot be achieved by half hearted involvement.”

    Ghaziabad: A gym trainer who was allegedly assaulted by a group of youths after he objected to “obscene acts” by a man and a woman while riding a scooter here has succumbed to injuries, police said on Tuesday.

    Six accused in the case have been arrested and charges under Indian Penal Code section 302 (murder) will be added in the FIR, they said.

    Virat Mishra, around 27 years of age, was assaulted near the Lajpat Rai College in Sahibabad area around 1 pm on Saturday, according to Bunty, who knew the deceased and also got thrashed in the episode while intervening in it.

    “Virat had objected to the man, identified as Manish, and the woman engaged in objectionable acts, saying it was a residential area and they should go somewhere else. “On this, Manish called up some his friends who immediately reached the spot and attacked Virat on his head and body with stones and sticks,” Bunty claimed in his complaint to the police.

    “When I tried to intervene, they attacked me as well. When some more locals of the neighbourhood saw this and approached us, these men fled hurling abuses at us. After this, Virat was rushed to a hospital for treatment,” Bunty, who runs a shop in the area, added.

    Assistant Commissioner of Police (Sahibabad) Bhaskar Verma said legal proceedings had been initiated in the case on the day of the incident but on Monday Virat succumbed to injuries during treatment at the hospital.

    “The FIR was lodged immediately after which six persons accused in the case were arrested and sent to jail. Now that the victim has passed away, the FIR will get converted to add the murder charge under IPC section 302 as well,” Verma told PTI.

    The initial FIR was lodged under IPC sections 307 (attempt to murder), 147 (rioting), 323 (causing hurt), 504 (provocation to provoke breach of peace), 506 (criminal intimidation), 149 (offence against public tranquility).
