Get 2 tickets for the price of 1.” This offer is valid across India including Hyderabad.
Earlier, after the release of the teaser of the movie, the makers of the film were trolled for ‘poor’ VFX. The release date of this mythological film too was changed following backlash but it seems that most of the audiences got impressed by the trailer.

The makers are receiving both positive and negative comments on social media platforms. Adipurush is set to release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages on the 16th of June this year. It features Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti as Janaki, and Saif as Lankesh.

Telangana: T-24 ticket price slashed to Rs 80 for women

Hyderabad: In the wake of facilitating travel for women passengers, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) on Monday reduced the price of T-24 tickets to Rs 80 from the existing Rs 90.
The revised charges will be brought into force from Tuesday within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits.
Also, the management of TSRTC had recently reduced the ticket price for 24-hour city ordinary and metro express buses from Rs 100 to Rs 90 for ordinary passengers and Rs 80 for senior citizens.

TSRTC chairman, Bajireddy Govardhan said that they have received a good response on the T-24 ticket launched to reduce the financial burden on passengers.
“After price reduction, on average, about 40,000 tickets are sold every day. Earlier, the sale of T-24 tickets used to hover around 25,000 tickets per day,” added the chairman.
The T-6 ticket for women and senior citizens that allows passengers to travel for six hours, between 10 am to 4 pm at the cost of Rs 50 has also proved to be successful.
TSRTC managing director VC Sajjanar said, “The F-24 ticket has been made available for the convenience of family members and friends. Four persons can travel for 24 hours by paying Rs 300 on weekends and holidays.”
Sajjanar further advised citizens to purchase T-24, T-6, and F-24 tickets and take advantage of the attractive offers.

Abu Dhabi Big Ticket: 3 Indian expats take home Rs 22 lakh each

Abu Dhabi: Three United Arab Emirates (UAE) based Indian expatriates won the grand prize of 100,000 Dirhams (Rs 22,23,997) in the latest Big Ticket Abu Dhabi weekly draw.
The winners – Lineesh Mekkottemal, Ajith Gopina, and Satheesan Thazhathayin – bagged the prize after matching five of the six winning numbers.
Lineesh Mekkottemal, who works as a driver in Dubai, plans to send the money back home to India and vows to continue purchasing Big Tickets.

Ajith Gopina, a resident of Dubai working as an electrical technician, intends to spend the money on his daughter’s university education.
The third winner Satheesan Thazhathay works as a government employee. He purchased his lucky ticket online on April 2.
The latest weekly draw also saw the fourth winner— Emirati national in Abu Dhabi, Sultan Alshehyari.
During the month of April, Big Ticket’s weekly secured electronic draw gave four customers the chance to win 100,000 Dirhams each week.
Big Ticket customers who purchase raffle tickets during the month of May are automatically entered into one of the weekly electronic draws and have a chance to be one of three winners to receive 100,000 Dirhams or one of 20 winners to receive 10,000 Dirhams each week

The same ticket will give them a chance to win the grand prize of 20 million Dirhams or one of the seven other life-changing cash prizes on June 3.
Big Ticket fans have until May 31 to make their purchases online at the official website or by visiting store counters at Abu Dhabi International Airport and Al Ain International Airport.

Two UAE flights, one ticket: Emirates, Etihad announce interline deal

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) carriers Etihad Airways and Emirates Airline have come together to bring a first-of-a-kind interline agreement.
On Thursday, UAE Airlines signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that expands their interline agreement, which took place at the Arabian Travel Market, with representatives from both airlines present.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), passengers traveling to the country will have the option of arriving in one Emirate and departing from the other. There will be no additional airfare for the service.

For example, someone flying from London might choose to land in Dubai on Emirates and then fly from Abu Dhabi on Etihad on the way back.
In its announcement Emirates, which is based in Dubai, said, “This first of its kind agreement between the two UAE carriers aims to capitalise on opportunities to boost tourism to the UAE from key source markets by enabling visitors to experience more than one destination in a single itinerary.”
Etihad Airways CEO Antonoaldo Neves added, “Our interline agreement will make it more convenient for our guests to experience the best of Abu Dhabi and Dubai on one ticket while promising to deliver an exceptional flying experience whether they fly with Etihad Airways or Emirates. It’s a win-win proposition for travelers to the UAE.”

UAE: Kerala man wins Rs 33 cr Big Ticket grand prize, turns crorepati overnight

Abu Dhabi: While number of people have been trying for years to win the Big Ticket Abu Dhabi jackpot, a United Arab Emirates (UAE) based Indian expatriate from the city of Kerala, won the grand prize of 15 million Dirhams (Rs 33,39,43,296) in the Big Ticket Abu Dhabi weekly draw.
The winner of the draw Pradeep Kumar— bagged the prize after buying ticket 048514 for the raffle draw number 251, which he had purchased online on April 13.
When the draw took place on Wednesday, April 3, Pradeep was at the airport for his return journey from his country to Abu Dhabi.

Pradeep, who is in his fifties, is a resident of UAE from the past 37 years and will be sharing the prize money with his two other friends.
This is the second time that Kumar, has got lucky.
“I once hit the top prize of Dh100,000 way back in 1996. Back then that was the only first-place raffle draw prize available, and tickets used to cost Dh100. I felt I had the luck of the green and continued buying tickets,” Kumar told Khaleej Times.
He wanted to continue living the simple life after his remarkable victory.
Other winners
Ruwan Chathuranga from Sri Lanka won the second prize of 100,000 Dirhams (Rs 22,26,260)

While Purvi Patni who is from India, won 90,000 Dirhams (Rs 20,03,634) third prize with the ticket number 191196.
Another Indian Farook Vettikkattu Valappil with the ticket number 100341 won the fourth prize worth 80,000 Dirhams (Rs 17,81,008).
Big Ticket was established in 1992 with an initial first prize of 1 million Dirhams (Rs 2,22,63,349) and is one of the most popular monthly draws in the UAE.

Separately, for the first time this month, Big Ticket is giving away 100 prizes to 100 lucky winners.
The 252nd draw series, which will be held on June 3, will have a grand prize of 20 million Dirhams.
Tickets can be purchased online until May 31 through the Big Ticket website, or by visiting shop counters at Abu Dhabi International Airport and Al Ain Airport.

Hyderabad: Nehru Zoological Park ticket prices to go up

Hyderabad: The Nehru Zoological Park experience in the city is going to become more expensive, as the forest department seeks to raise revenue by increasing the admission price.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the Zoos and Parks Authority of Telangana (ZAPAT) on Tuesday, which was presided over by forests minister A Indrakaran Reddy.
Adults will now pay Rs 70 on weekdays and Rs 80 on holidays and weekends, while children will pay Rs 45 on weekdays and Rs 55 on holidays and weekends, according to the new pricing system.

Previously, tickets for adults were priced at Rs 60 on weekdays and Rs 75 on weekends and holidays, while children’s tickets were priced at Rs 40 on weekdays and Rs 50 on weekends and holidays.
The Forest department, however, has decided to raise the admission price across the board in order to produce more revenue.
Information on when the new prices will come into effect is not yet known.

Hyderabad: TSRTC slashes T-24 ticket prices

Hyderabad: Ahead of a scorching summer, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) decided to give a sweet deal to its passengers in the city and reduce their financial burden.
T-24 ticket price for general passengers has been reduced from Rs 100 to Rs 90. Moreover, a concession will be provided to the new senior citizens.
T-24 ticket allows the passengers to avail unlimited services of the RTC buses within the Greater Hyderabad limits. Passengers can travel in regular as well as metro RTC buses.

The T-24 ticket is now priced at Rs 80 only for people above 60 years, considered senior citizens. To avail of the discount senior citizens would have to show their Aadhaar card to the bus conductors for age verification at the time of ticketing.
The new T-24 ticket prices will be effective from Thursday in Greater Hyderabad. It provides 24 hours of travel at less than the cost of a litre of petrol, said a press release on Wednesday.
At first, the price of the ticket was fixed at Rs 120. It was then reduced to Rs 100 to reduce the financial burden on passengers. Now the company fixed the price of the ticket at Rs 90 for regular passengers and Rs 80 for senior citizens.
T-6 ticket, priced at Rs 50, allows women and senior citizens to travel anywhere in the city from 10 AM to 4 PM.
TSRTC also allows a family of four to travel around in hyderabad for 24 hours using the F-24 ticket which is proceed at Rs 300.

Abu Dhabi: Four Indian expatriates won the grand prize of Dirhams 100,000 (Rs 22,35,261) each in the Big Ticket Abu Dhabi weekly draws held on Monday, April 17, 2023.
The winners of the draw Krishna Prakash Karuvankavil, Sreejith PS, Vinay Vas, and Dilip Devanand Devnani— bagged the prize after matching five of the six winning numbers.
Dilip Devanand Devnani, the first weekly draw winner, currently heads the business department of a firm in Dubai.

He plans to donate 10 percent of the amount to a charity and send the rest back home to his family.
Vinay Vas, the second weekly draw winner, works as a business development manager in UAE. He has been living in Abu Dhabi for the past 23 years.
Sreejith PS, the third weekly draw winner, works as a nurse in Qatar. He has been living in Doha for the past eight years.
When asked about his plans to spend his share of the prize, Sreejith told Big Ticket representatives that he plans to take his family on a visit to their home country, Gulf News reported.
Krishna Prakash, the fourth weekly draw winner, currently owns a business in Dubai. He plans to invest his winnings into his business and hopes to one day be named the grand prize winner.

Big ticket participants who purchase draw tickets during the month of April are automatically entered into one of the weekly electronic draws, which will see four winners walk away with Dirhams 100,000.
Anyone who buys tickets during the promotional dates will also stand a chance to win the Dirhams 15 million grand prize on May 3.

United AP’s last CM Kiran Kumar Reddy eyes Malkajgiri on BJP ticket?

Hyderabad: The last chief minister of united Andhra Pradesh, N Kiran Kumar Reddy recently joined the BJP and is more interested in participating in Telangana politics than Andhra Pradesh.
Kiran Kumar Reddy, who hails from Andhra Pradesh, had opposed the Congress high command’s decision to create a separate Telangana state as chief minister.
According to reliable sources, Mr. Reddy is interested in contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Malkajari parliamentary constituency. He informed the BJP high command about his interest in Malkajagri constituency and said that there is a significant number of Andhra voters in this constituency and the BJP can easily win.

Kiran Kumar Reddy is educated at Hyderabad Public School and Nizam College and is exploring his political future in Telangana owing to his good relations in the state. The Andhra leader’s decision to contest in Telangana is unlikely to be objected by the BRS as the party itself is going to contest in Andhra Pradesh and also eyeing Maharashtra and Karnataka.
Sources close to Kiran Kumar Reddy believe that the BJP high command has accepted the proposal to contest the Lok Sabha elections. However, a final decision will be taken after consulting local BJP leaders. With several contenders already in place in the party for the Malkajagri Lok Sabha constituency, the BJP has focused on strengthening the party in Hyderabad and surrounding areas.
Revanth Reddy had won the Malkajagri Lok Sabha seat on a Congress ticket in the last elections. Since Revanth Reddy is interested in the assembly elections, the BJP is confident that it can win from the Malkajagri Lok Sabha constituency.
According to the sources, a plan has been charted out for BJP to do better in the Telangana elections, BJP leadership is in favour of early elections or advocating Telangana elections along with the general elections in the country.
If sources to be believed, national BJP leaders are preparing for elections in Telangana any time after June to prepare for all out fight against the ruling party in Telangana State with complete focus.
