Shah Rukh Khan calls teachers ‘Educational Rockstars’ who groove to ‘Pathaan’ song

Mumbai: Pathaan fever is still on and Shah Rukh Khan made sure that it does not die any time soon. King Khan took to his Instagram on Tuesday to post a video where the teachers of a university have matched their steps to the tune of ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ along with their students. Shah Rukh wrote in the caption, “How lucky to have teachers and professors who can teach us and have fun with us. Educational Rockstars all of them!”
According to the sources, this video is from the commerce department of Delhi University’s Jesus and Mary College. The video was shared on the Department of Commerce’s Instagram account with a caption that reads, “Highlights of a fun day where the coolest professors of JMC joined in a flashmob at Commacumen’23.”
Interestingly, fans across the ages grooved to this tune of ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ whenever the song played in the theatres. Videos went viral where crazy fans danced and shouted to this song.
Fans lapped up this video with love and enthusiasm. One wrote, “Pathan ke sath puri duniya jhoom rahi hai haq se srk only.” “You’re why I got into films and love our cinema! @iamsrk .Love and respect”, wrote another one.
Shah Rukh tasted a much-awaited success with the terrific run of ‘Pathaan’ at the box office since its release. The movie has already minted a thousand crores globally till date.
Celebrated as a romantic hero, Shah Rukh tried the action genre in this thriller, which is a part of the spy-verse created by Yash Raj films. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham also acted in the movie and garnered love from the audience.

SRK’s ‘Deewangi deewangi’ song gets ‘Bigg Boss 16’ tweak, check it out

Mumbai: It’s been 16 years since Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer ‘Om Shanti Om’ released and the film is remembered to date. One of the most special parts of the film was its song ‘Deewangi Deewangi’.
Sung by Shaan, Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghosal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Rahul Saxena, the catchy track featured the who’s who of Bollywood.
From Dharmendra, Salman Khan, Tabu, Sanjay Dutt to Vidya Balan, Rekha, Rani Mukeji, Karisma Kapoor, several Bollywood stars marked their special appearance in the blockbuster track. And now the particular song has got “Bigg Boss” tweak. If you can’t believe it then right away check ‘Om Shanti Om’ director Farah Khan’s Instagram.
On Thursday, Farah took to Instagram and shared a video from her party which she hosted especially for ‘Bigg Boss 16’ contestants.
In the clip, ‘BB 16’ contestants MC Stan, Abdu Rozik, Shiv Thakare, Shalin Bhanot, and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary are seen grooving to ‘Deewangi Deewangi’ track.
We can also spot Sania Mirza, Huma Qureshi, Patalekhaa and Arbaaz Khan in the clip.

‘Bigg Boss 16’ saw MC stan lifting the trophy. . Along with the winner’s trophy, he received a car and prize money totalling Rs 31.80 lakh.

This season’s top five finalists were Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Shalin Bhanot, MC Stan, Shiv Thakare, and Archana Gautam.

After dancing on Pathan song, Virat Kohli seen copying Salman Khan’s dance steps

However, Virat Kohli disappointed SRK fans as he was seen copying Salman Khan’s dance moves from the song of his upcoming movie “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan”.
Virat Kohli was stretching before the net practice for the second test at Ferozshah Kotla ground two days before the start of the 2nd Test against Australia when The Fauxy reporter captured a video of Kohli copying Salman moves.

EC’s song ‘Main Bharat Hoon’ to nudge voters for upcoming polls

New Delhi: The Election Commission (EC) is gearing up for the nine Assembly Elections this year and the Lok Sabha polls early next year with the aim of pushing the voter percentages through innovative communication strategies.
As one of the initiatives, the EC, in collaboration with Subhash Ghai Foundation, produced a song – ‘Main Bharat Hoon, Hum Bharat ke Matdata Hain’, featuring celebrities from different walks of life, appealing to the people to cast their vote.
The song, which was screened in the presence of President Droupadi Murmu on the 13th National Voters Day — January 25, is already beginning to gain traction on social media through celebrities and influencers.
Officials said that within a week since its launch, the Hindi and the multilingual format of the song had already got over 3.5 lakh views and 5.6 lakh impressions on four major social media platforms — Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
The song is one of such initiatives of EC’s ‘Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation’ programme, which is the flagship voter education programme focused on inclusion strategies and action plans for enhancing participation from all categories of voters under EC’s motto of ‘No Voter to be Left Behind’.
The song is aimed not only at educating the voters regarding their rights and responsibility towards strengthening democracy, but also at enthusing them for greater participation in the electoral process.
As per EC officials, the song was finalised after a number of interactions of the team led by Subhash Ghai with the Election Commission led by Rajiv Kumar, Chief Election Commissioner.
The Chief Election Commissioner said: “The song is dedicated to each voter who takes cognisance of their national duty and casts vote, beating all odds.”

The motivating lyrics of the song are written and composed by the filmmaker, Subhash Ghai, in association with Whistling Woods International School of Music, Mumbai and it is sung in Hindi and 12 regional languages including Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Assamese, Odia, Kashmiri, Santali covering the maximum geographical area.

Amid Pathaan success, Sona Mohapatra calls ‘Besharam Rang’ a ‘mediocre song’

Mumbai: Singer Sona Mohapatra has termed the song ‘Besharam Rang’ from ‘Pathaan’ as a ‘mediocre song at its best’, despite the Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone-starrer film turning out to be superhit at the box office.
Sona took to Twitter on Monday to share a clip from the making of her song ‘Rasarkeli Bo’.
She also said that all the brouhaha around ‘Besharam Rang’, which landed in a controversy due to Deepika’s saffron bikini, ended up helping the song.
Sona tweeted: “The faltu ka hue and cry around #BesharamRang only helped a mediocre song at best.”
“Of course the opposite, celebrating music that does showcase our Indic identity, won’t happen in a hurry & the de-raci-‘nation’ will continue.”

Newly inaugurated Mumbai Metro to play ‘Mood Banayela’ song every hour

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated two new Mumbai Metro lines, line 2A (Dahisar to Andheri West D.N. Nagar) and line 7 (Dahisar East to Andheri East). PM Modi was accompanied by Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde and deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis in a ride from Gundavali to Mogra station.

On Sunday, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnvis issued a statement to MMRDA to mandatorily play ‘Mood Banayela’ song in metro every hour to give the commuter a better experience of traveling. The ‘Mood Banaleya’ song is sung by Amruta Fadnavis.

Opposition accused Devendra Fadnavis of nepotism by promoting his wife’s song, however, Devendra Fadnavis denied these allegations and said that the song is being played to avoid congestion in Mumbai Metro during its initial runs.

Reportedly, the metro witnessed drastic reduce in number of commuters after ‘Mood Banaleya’ song being played but reduction in number of commuters can’t be directly correlated to the song, since it’s Sunday and real impact will be seen on Monday. Details awaited
