Webchutney co-founder Sidharth Rao passes away

New Delhi: Sidharth Rao, who co-founded one of India’s first and top digital agencies Webchutney, has passed away, according to media reports.
He died on Friday evening. He is survived by his parents and wife.
At the age of 19, he started Webchutney, which was the most-awarded Indian agency at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2019.

In 2008, he incubated Network Play under Webchutney, which in less than three years became the largest brand ad network, one that was later acquired by Bertelsmann AG. In 2013, Webchutney was acquired by the Japanese multinational media network Dentsu Aegis Network.
While he continued to head Webchutney, in 2021 he was also appointed as head of the India unit of dentsuMB, the restructured global creative network of the company.
In 2022, Rao stepped down as group CEO of dentsuMB India and joined hands and launched a new venture in the marketing technology (MarTech) space, called Punt Partners along with serial entrepreneur Madhu Sudan.

Salman objects to social media users still linking Shehnaaz & Sidharth

Mumbai: Bollywood star Salman Khan has asked social media users who keep talking about Shehnaaz Gill and the late Sidharth Shukla and tag them as ‘SidNaaz’ to stop doing that and let Shehnaaz move on in life.
Appearing on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ along with the ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ cast, Salman said Sidharth is no more and now it is time for Shehnaaz to have her own life and find love if she wants to.
Shehnaaz cannot just remain unmarried forever, Salman said.

“Even Sidharth would have wanted her to move on and start a family,” he added.
“Par social media pe yeh kuchh log jo SidNaaz, SidNaaz karte rahte hain, zindagi bhar yeh kunwari rahegi kya? (Some people on social media keep troubling her, saying SidNaaz, SidNaaz. Will she remain single for the rest of her life?),” commented an irate Salman.
Continuing in the same vein, he said: “Yeh jitney bhi SidNaaz, SidNaaz karte hain, inmein se kisi ek ko chunliya toh woh abhi kahega haan mai tumhara hun. Kya bakwaas baatien hai yeh, kisi ki sunna nahi sirf apne dil ki suno and move on in life. (If she chooses one among those SidNaaz fans, they will happily accept her as life partner. All of this is nonsense. Don’t listen to them, listen to your heart and move on in life).”
Come Eid and Shehnaaz will be seen in ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ along with Salman and a trio of Telugu stars — Venkatesh Daggubati, Pooja Hegde and Jagapathi Babu — as well as Raghav Juyal, Palak Tiwari, Jassi Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Vinali Bhatnagar and Sukhbir.
They came on the show to promote the film.

Hyderabad-based indie artist Sidharth Bendi releases new single

Hyderabad: City based independent music creator Sidharth Bendi has released a new number 26 that’s gaining traction in the indie music circles. The 24 year-old singer/songwriter, music producer and acoustic pop performer has released 2 Elongated Plays (EPs) and 4 singles already and is working in 15 more projects.
Talking about his new single that was released on March 26, Sidharth said, “2006 was written about missing my childhood self and talks about how I’m giving up on my current state. The idea came about when I bumped into an old video from my 7th birthday in 2006 and felt so many different emotions from watching it and reflecting on my life right now”.
“It was also peak pandemic when I wrote this song so I’m sure that had an influence on how I felt as well. It was a generally slower time in the world,” he added.

Sidarth Bendi’s music journey started in 2017 with the self-written EP ‘One in a Million’. He has done over 1000 shows after his school and is the alumni of the prestigious Berklee College of Music. He has opened for many artists like Tejas Menon, Vir Das, Pratheek Kuhad, AWKS, Dhruv Viswanath, Divine, Ritviz and more.
Bendi is also the founder of city based non-profit ‘The Beautiful World Movement’, which raises funds through cultural events towards sustainability awareness, animal welfare, nurturing of underprivileged children and so on.
Sidarth Bendi’s new single ‘2006’ is available on Spotify, YouTube Music and Apple music.

Mumbai: Sidharth Malhotra is loving everything about being married to Kiara Advani.
Be it an award show or social media, the newly married Sidharth has been seen showering praises on his wife ever since the two tied the knot on February 7.
There’s hardly any moment when Sidharth has not dished out husband goals post his wedding.
Recently, paps spotted Sidharth out and about in Mumbai. While they asked for his solo pictures, it was Sidharth’s witty reply that proves he is a doting hubby.
“Ab main solo nahi raha,” Sidharth joked when paps asked for his “solo” pictures.

Sidharth and Kiara recently appeared together at an awards show in Mumbai. The duo took home trophy for their outstanding performance in their films.
While Kiara was awarded the Star of the Year for her performances in ‘Shershaah’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2′, Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ and ‘Govinda Naam Mera’, Sidharth bagged the Best Actor award for his role in Shershaah.

During her acceptance speech, Kiara thanked the team of her films and also gave a shoutout to her husband Sidharth. Soon after Kiara wrapped up her speech, Sidharth walked on stage and gave Kiara a tight hug. Sidharth also made sure to thank Kiara while accepting his award.
“Saving the best for last. My talented co-actor who was so convincing in her role that I ended up marrying her. And she is right here. I am so happy and proud to call her my wife today – Kiara,” Sidharth said.
Sidharth and Kiara fell in love with each other during the shoot of Shershaah and finally, they sealed their relationship by exchanging vows at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer on February 7.

Asim Riaz recalls the day Sidharth Shukla died, says ‘knew it before..’

Mumbai: A total of 16 seasons of popular television reality show Bigg Boss ended successfully but the most talked ever would probably be the 13th one. The two arch-rivals of Bigg Boss season 13 Sidharth Shukla and Asim Riaz were the main entertainers of the audiences and fans still share their moments and tiffs on various social media platforms. The arch-enemies inside Bigg Boss’s house turned out to be good friends outside later.
Asim Riaz has been seen often sharing with fans and media about his relationship with Sidharth Sukhla. The first runner-up of the BB 13 has recently made a shocking statement about the death of Sidharth Shukla.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Asim said, “He came in my dream bro, I swear. I knew it before (it happened). I had a call from one of my cousins, Ruhaan called me up, usne mujhe bola bhai news on karna (He asked me to switch on the news), he didn’t tell me because he knows how emotional and how sensitive I am.”
“I have spent 140 days with him in that house and I was really connected because I had no friend outside and aisa connection kisi se hua hi nahi kabhi bhai, matlab ladna toh 4-4 din, hasna toh 4-4 din (I have never had such a connection where we fought for 4 days continuously and then laughed continuously for 4 days),” he added.
Despite sharing a good bond with Sidharth Sukhla later, Asim Raiz still claims that his friend’s victory was rigged. He maintained that he was far more deserved than the late Sidharth Shukla.
In the same interview with Siddharth Kannan, Asim said, “Mere dauraan unhone kya kiya (during my trip what they did), since they didn’t want me to win, haanji bhai aaj hum online voting khol denge 15 min ke liye, jitana hai jitao jisko (they opened online voting and said, make whoever you want to win). Just say you don’t want to see me win, and it’ll be OK. You made it so plain that we had to think you did whatever you did, and I was like, alright.”
It seems that Asim Riaz is still holding grudges against the Bigg Boss management but at the same time, he feels bad for losing one of his good friends. He was among the first to arrive at the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai, where Sidharth’s body was brought for a postmortem. Sidharth Sukhla died on September 2 in 2021.

Jaisalmer: Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s wedding festivities are taking place in full swing at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer.
