“Seeing a parent…” Shilpa Shetty pens emotional note post her mother Sunanda’s surgery

Mumbai: Actor Shilpa Shetty penned a heartfelt note post her mother Sunanda underwent surgery.
On Thursday, taking to Instagram, Shilpa dropped a picture of her mother from the hospital and shared a health update.
Sharing the picture, she wrote, “Seeing a parent undergo surgery is never easy for any child. But if there’s anything I want to emulate from my mom it’s her guts and her fighting spirit. The last few days have been a roller coaster. But my hero and my hero’s hero saved the day!. Please do keep Ma in your prayers till she makes a full recovery, my dearest #InstaFam Prayers work miracles.”
She also thanked the doctors and staff of the hospital for taking good care of her mother.
As soon as the news was uploaded on social media, netizens and members from the industry chimed in the comment section with speedy recovery messages.
Shilpa’s sister and actor Shamita Shetty wrote, “Our momie is the strongest. Love ya.”
Raveena Tandon wrote, “Wishing a speedy recovery.”

Mumbai: Television actor Aamir Ali took to Twitter to clear the air on his dating rumour with Shamita Shetty. The actor posted a video claiming they are “just very very close friends.”
In the video, Aamir said, “Hi! I don’t know what to say. My mom has always taught me to be a gentleman. If someone comes home, I generally drop them at the door, whoever that is. A friend of mine was there and I escorted her to her car. I was just being a friend and it became something else. Guys, we are single. I am single, she is single. We are just very very close friends and that’s about it. That’s about it.”
Aamir added, “Ek cheeze khaali. Shah Rukh Khan sir bhi, main suna hun, jab mehmaan aate hai toh darwaaze tak chorne jaate hai. Toh woh theek hai, maine karliya toh, just saying (One more thing. I have heard that when a guest comes over to meet Shah Rukh Khan even he escorts them to the door. That is fine, but when I did, just saying).” He captioned the video, “Just saying…”
On Tuesday, Shilpa Shetty’s sister Shamita took to Twitter saying, “I’m baffled by society and its convenient prudish mindset all across. Why is every action and every person subjected to scrutiny or snap judgement with no reality check? There are possibilities beyond the narrow-minded assumptions of the NETIZENS.”
“It’s high time we open our minds to it! Single n happy .. let’s focus on more important issues in this country,” Shamita added.
Shamita and Aamir were recently spotted at a party together. Moreover, Aamir was seen escorting Shamita to her car and planting a kiss on her cheek in one of the videos, captured by a paparazzo. This whole incident sparked their dating rumours.
Aamir was earlier married to actor Sanjeeda Sheikh. They tied the knot in March 2012 and divorced in 2021. They are parents to a daughter, Ayra Ali.
Shamita dated Raqesh Bapat last year after they met on Bigg Boss OTT. After a brief period, they broke up last year.

The dating rumours of Shamita with Aamir started after the two were recently spotted at a party together. In one of the paparazzi videos, Aamir was seen escorting Shamita to her car and giving her a peck on her cheek.
Shamita was previously dating Raqesh Bapat. The two fell in love during their ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ stint. However, the two parted ways after dating for a short period.
Shamita also announced her breakup with Raqesh via a social media statement back then.
“I think it’s important to make this clear. Rakesh and I are no longer together and have not been for a while, but this music video is for all the beautiful fans who have given us so much love and support. Mumbai: Actor Athiya Shetty on Saturday, shared some more beautiful snaps from her wedding ceremony.
Taking to Instagram, the ‘Hero’ actor shared a string of pictures in which she could be seen along with her friends and family members.
In the second picture, Athiya could be seen with her mother Mana Shetty performing a ritual.
Athiya looked absolutely gorgeous as she donned a beautiful golden saree with a pink blouse and accessorized her look with heavy jewellery.
Soon after she shared the pictures, fans and friends flooded the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons.

Cricketer KL Rahul and Athiya exchanged vows on Tuesday at Suniel’s farmhouse in Khandala. After the wedding, Suniel spoke to photographers and thanked them for their blessings. Suniel also revealed that the couple’s wedding reception will be held after the IPL season.
Among the select group of friends who attended the wedding were Diana Penty, Krishna Shroff, Anshula Kapoor, and Anushka Ranjan with husband Aditya Seal. Cricketers Varun Aaron and Ishant Sharma, with wife Pratima Singh, also attended.

Mumbai: Wedding preparations have begun at the Shetty household!
Athiya Shetty is reportedly getting married to her beau KL Rahul tomorrow in Khandala and while there is much anticipation around the wedding festivities, we have some exciting photos of the venue.
On Friday evening, Suniel Shetty‘s Khandala household was all lit up and many guests were spotted wearing traditional clothes and dancing, celebrating the couple.

While the paparazzi couldn’t spot the bride and groom, these photos come across as a delight and a confirmation that there is indeed a wedding happening. Neither cricketer KL Rahul, nor Athiya Shetty announced the news of their wedding officially.
However, earlier in the day, Suneil Shetty interacted with the paparazzi stationed outside his farmhouse and made a promise to them.
As the paparazzi congratulated the ‘Dhadhkan’ actor, he had a small interaction with them and promised that he would get his kids – Athiya and Rahul, along with the entire family for the official pictures.
He said, “Main kal leke aata hoon bachhon ko.” The actor then continued, “Aapne jo pyaar dikhaya uske liye bohot bohot thank you.”

This was the first official confirmation of the wedding from the family.
The wedding is speculated to happen at the Shetty farmhouse in Khandala and, as per reports, it will be an intimate affair.
KL Rahul and Athiya have been dating for a while now and the actress was also seen with the cricketer on a few tours of Team India. Athiya is the daughter of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty.
The lovebirds made their relationship official the previous year as the Indian cricketer wished his ladylove on her birthday with a cute social media post featuring Athiya and himself.
