SRINAGAR: The University of East Anglia in England is organizing the UEA International Scholarship to fully fund five exceptional students pursuing a master’s degree without any tuition fee burden.
The university offers 26 courses in the faculty of social sciences and international
development, including a master’s program in media and international development.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be graduates with an outstanding academic record and proficient in English.

SRINAGAR: State Bank of India Foundation (SBIF) is inviting applications for the SBIF ASHA scholarship program 2023 under its education vertical – Integrated Learning Mission (ILM).
Under the program, students in their first year of undergraduate courses from reputed NIRF universities/colleges and IITs, MBA/PGDM from IIMs, and PhD from recognized universities/institutions, can avail monetary benefits amounting up to INR 5 lacs for one year.
Candidates pursuing the first year of their respective courses can apply to the scholarship. The applicants must have minimum 75 per cent aggregate marks in their qualifying exams, whichever applicable for their applied course. The total annual income of the applicants’ family from all sources must be below INR 3 lacs. Candidates from PAN India are also eligible to apply.
The scholarship provides benefits of up to INR 50,000 for UG courses, up to INR 3,40,000 for IIT students, up to INR 5,00,000 for IIM students and up to INR 2,00,000 for PhD courses for one year.
The candidates are required to submit the mark sheet of their qualifying examination/previous academic year, a government issued ID card, current year proof of admission, bank account details (candidate or parent), Income certificate and passport size photograph of the applicant.
The deadline to apply for the program is April 30, 2023. An initial shortlist will be released based on the applicants’ financial background and academic merit followed by a telephonic interview and document verification for final selection.

SRINAGAR: Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand is inviting applications for a fully funded Doctoral Scholarship for the year 2023.
The University offers around 110 scholarships in the field of Architecture, Business and Government, Design, Education, Engineering, Health, Humanities, Law, Music, Technology, and Science.
Eligible candidates need to have a strong academic record and a record of publications in outstanding journals reflecting candidates’ experience and education.

National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) It is implemented by the Department of School Education & Literacy under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students of economically weaker sections to arrest their drop out at class VIII and encourage them to continue the study at secondary stage.
Scholarship of Rs. 12000/- per annum (Rs.1000/- per month) per student is awarded to selected students every year for study in classes from IX to XII in State Government, Government aided and local body schools. There is quota of scholarships for different states/UTs. Students whose parental income from all sources is not more than Rs. 1,50,000/- are eligible to avail the scholarships.
Applicable only for the meritorious and needy students of India, this NMMS scholarship scheme expects all the applicants to fulfil the eligibility conditions mentioned below in order to be eligible for the selection test conducted to award the scholarship.
The candidates who wish to apply for this MCM scholarship must be regular students studying in class 8 after getting clear promotion from class 7 with a score of at least 55% or equivalent grades.
The candidates must be pursuing education from Government/Local Body/Government-aided schools.
For continuation of scholarship in higher secondary school, the candidate must score at least 60% marks in class 10 board exam.
For continuing the scholarship in class 12, the scholarship awardee must get clear promotion from class 11 in the first attempt itself with a score of 55% marks or equivalent. For students belonging to SC/ST category, a relaxation of 5% is given in marks.
The candidates’ annual family income should not be more than INR 3.5 Lakh.
Also, those students who are enrolled in NVS, KVS, Sainik schools and private schools are not eligible for this NMMS scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria-:
Alpsankhyak Chatravriti Yojana Eligibility – To apply under this scholarship scheme, students have to fulfill the following criteria:
The pre-matric scholarship will be given to those students belonging to minority communities such as Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, (Parsis) and Jains and studying in classes 1 to 10.
To be eligible under this scheme, students have to score more than 50% in the last final exam.
The annual income of the parent/guardian of the student should not exceed one lakh rupees from all sources.
Under the Minority Scholarship Scheme, the scholarship will be given to two students from one family.
A 30% scholarship is reserved for girl students. In case of not having a sufficient number of students, these will be provided to the eligible male students.
Scholarship Amount-:
Pre-Matric Minority Scholarship Scheme Amount – Selected students will be awarded Pre-matric scholarship for the entire duration of the course. While maintenance allowance will be given for 10 months in an academic year. The scholarship rate is mentioned below:
(1) Admission fee from class VI to X:
Hostel: Rs 500 per year
Day Scholars: Rs 500 per year
(2) Tuition fees from class VI to X:
Hostel: Rs 50 per month
Day Scholars: Rs 50 per month
(3) Maintenance allowance is payable for a period not exceeding 10 months in an academic year:

Terms and Conditions-:
If a student fails to achieve 50% marks in the annual examination except for the unavoidable reasons notified by the Principal / Competent Authority of the school, the award will be discontinued.
Students should be present regularly, for which yardstick will be decided by the competent authority of the school.
Will certify the student’s claim of being an external student residing in the hostel of the school/institute/ school concerned.
The migration of a student from one school/institution to another will not normally take place during the academic year except in exceptional circumstances.
If the student violates any other terms and conditions of school discipline or scholarship, the scholarship may be canceled.
The scholarship will be canceled on receipt of scholarship by a student by furnishing the wrong details/certificate.
The course fee/tuition fee and maintenance will be credited to the student’s bank account through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode.
Candidates who have been selected under this scholarship scheme will not be allowed to avail benefits under any other scholarship scheme for the same purpose.

How to Apply Online for Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme 2023 for Minority – The concerned State Govt / Union Territory Administration announced the scheme by placing advertisements in leading language newspapers and local dailies and using other appropriate promotional media.
