Some sources are claiming that Kajal Aggarwal, the Tollywood queen, will be dancing with Allu Arjun in this highly anticipated song. Speaking about the remuneration, rumours are rife that Kajal is charging Rs 5cr, the same amount that Sam charged for the item song in part one. But nothing has been revealed as of yet; it could be the same amount or a higher amount, given the film’s success in the first part of Pushpa.

Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha Ruth Prabhu look cute in Kushi’s first romantic song teaser

Mumbai: Makers of the film ‘Kushi’ starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda dropped the teaser of the first romantic single.
Sharing the teaser, he wrote, “Kushi. 1st song. Full song out on May 9.”
In the video, Vijay can be seen adoring Samantha Ruth Prabhu who is busy offering her prayers.

The video opens with Vijay standing on the edge of a cliff with open hands while facing his back towards the camera.
The music is composed by Hesham Abdul. Na Rojaa Nuvve in Telugu, Tu Meri Roja in Hindi, En Rojaa Neeye in Tamil, Nanna Roja Neene in Kannada, and En Rojaa Neeye in Malayalam are the names of the first single, which is anticipated to be a love song.
On the occasion of Vijay Devarakonda’s birthday which is on May 9, the first romantic track will be released.
According to the poster, the film appears to be a love story set in Kashmir.
Earlier, the film tentatively named ‘VD11’.

After ‘Mahanati’, this will be Samantha and Vijay’s second project together and also it is Samantha’s second collaboration with filmmaker Shiva Nirvana, who previously collaborated with her on ‘Majili’.
Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, and Saranya are among the cast members of the film.
‘Kushi’ will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada theatres on September 1.
Meanwhile, Vijay will be seen sharing screen space with Sreeleela in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s new film, which is tentatively titled ‘VD 12’.

Mumbai: Actors Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, on Tuesday, attended the grand premiere of the upcoming action thriller series ‘Citadel’.
The duo was seen twinning in black outfits.

Created by the Russo Brothers, Citadel will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on Friday, April 28, with two adrenaline-fueled episodes, followed by a new episode released weekly every Friday through May 26.
The show stars Richard Madden and actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the lead roles.
The action-packed show revolves around two elite agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka) of the global spy agency Citadel.

Sharing details about the show, Priyanka earlier said, “The story is closely interwoven with the stunts. What’s so exciting about these huge action pieces was that they are infused with drama and storytelling. We get to see a lot about these characters, how they physically interact, not just great action sequences but there’s drama at the heart of each one of them, so there’s a story sort of interwoven in all the stunts. And that was just very cool and new for me.”

When Samantha struggled to get clothes from designers; was asked ‘Who are you?’

Mumbai: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu recalled how she and her colleagues down south were disrespected in the past over clothes.
In an interview, the 35-year-old actress spoke about how far regional films have come in recent years, with movies in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada out running Hindi cinema at the box-office.
Samantha said: “It’s absolutely wonderful. There were times when we south actors couldn’t source garments from designers because they were like, ‘Who are you? South actor? What south?’”

Samantha, whose upcoming film ‘Shaakuntalam’ has over 3,000 costumes for the actors, supporting cast and junior artistes, made by designer Neeta Lulla: “We’ve come a long way from there, haven’t we? This inclusivity is quite amazing, and we’re now finally where we should be.”
Over the last two years, films such as ‘RRR‘, ‘KGF’ franchise, ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ and ‘Kantara’, among many others gave a Hindi cinema a run for their money at the box-office.

Mumbai: Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu has informed her fans that she can’t attend upcoming promotional events of her upcoming film, ‘Shaakuntalam’ as she is unwell due to hectic schedules.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Samantha said that she is down with a fever and lost her voice as ‘hectic schedules and promotions have taken its toll’.
Samantha tweeted, “(1/2) I was really excited to be amongst you all this week promoting my film and soaking in your love.

Unfortunately, the hectic schedules and promotions have taken its toll, and I am down with a fever and have lost my voice.
In another tweet, she wrote, “(2/2) Please join team #Shaakuntalam at the Annual Day Event of MLRIT this evening… will miss you.”
Samantha has travelled across the country for the promotion of her upcoming film ‘Shaakuntalam’.
‘Shaakuntalam’ is based on a popular Indian classic play ‘Abhigyan Shakuntalam’ by Kalidasa, ancient India’s greatest poet and playwright. Shakuntala was the wife of King Dushyant and the mother of Emperor Bharata. Dev Mohan has been paired opposite Samantha.
The film is all set to hit the theatres on April 14 and it will be out in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Asked about the movie, Samantha told ANI, “It’s a love story. And love is like a universe in itself. Our cultural heritage is rich. And the story of this film is inspired from one of our oldest classics. Apart from the story, the movie has high-level graphics and special effects.”
Samantha was recently seen in the sci-fi thriller film ‘Yashoda’ which received positive responses from the audience.

‘Samantha was our only choice for this epic’, says ‘Shaakuntalam’ director

Mumbai: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who swayed the nation with her moves in ‘Oo Antava’, was the only choice for ‘Shaakuntalam’, the director of the film revealed.
Director Gunasekhar kept Samantha in mind while penning the script of the historical drama.
Elaborating on the same, Gunasekhar said: “When I wanted to make the eternal love story of Shakuntala and Dushyant in an interesting backdrop of a beautiful whimsical forest much like a forest princess in a Disney kind of film, I wanted someone who could be relatable to the millennial audiences, and felt Samantha would be apt for this film and approached her.”

The filmmaker also believes that Samantha fitted the role perfectly and that no one could have essayed it better than her.
“The film traces the emotional journey of a woman who falls in love and the challenges fate throws at her. She’s a character of inner strength who depicts her emotions with dignity and grace in all that she does. Her truth is her strength, all these emotions can only be portrayed by a wonderful performer like Samantha and she was our only choice to be able to create this epic”, he added.

As the barrier between north and south films has been diminishing over the years, Samantha told ANI, “There’s no wall between North and South films now. I don’t want to engage in any debate over this. As an actor, it gives me immense pleasure that I can work in films across languages. Nowadays, audiences also watch movies from different languages.”
