Salman Khan death threat: Mumbai Police issues lookout notice against accused

Mumbai: Mumbai Police has issued a lookout circular (LOC) against a man accused of sending threatening email to actor Salman Khan.
As per the officials, the man allegedly emailed threatening messages to the ‘Dabangg’ star in the name of gangster Goldy Brar in March.
Salman, who has been receiving death threats for a long time now, recently opened up about how he is dealing with it.

During an appearance at India TV’ show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, Salman also spoke about the Y+ category security which he received by Mumbai Police amid the death threat.
“Security is better than insecurity. Yes security is there. Now it is not possible to ride a bicycle on the road and go alone anywhere. And more than that, now I have this problem that when I am in traffic, then there is so much security, vehicles creating inconvenience to other people. They also give me a look. And my poor fans. There is a serious threat that’s why there is security,” he said.
Salman added, “I am doing whatever I have been told. There is a dialogue ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ ‘they have to be lucky 100 times, I have to be lucky once’. So, I got to be very careful.”
He admitted that he often gets scared seeing “so many guns ” around him.
“I am going everywhere with full security. I know whatever is going to happen will happen no matter what you do. I believe that (points towards god) that he is there. It is not that I will start roaming freely, it is not like that. Now there are so many Sheras around me, so many guns are going around with me that I am myself scared these days,” Salman shared.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman will be seen sharing screen space with Katrina Kaif in ‘Tiger 3’, which will hit the theatres this Diwali.

Mumbai: Renowned Turkish star Burak Deniz is currently in India and he has been making the best use of his time exploring the nation’s culture. And of course, as he is in the entertainment hub, he also added Bollywood tadka to his trip.
On Thursday, Burak attended the 23rd edition of FICCI Frames in Mumbai, where he met veteran actor Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur.
Sharing a picture of hugging Anil Kapoor, Burak took to Instagram Story and wrote, ” Thank you (smiley emoji).”

Burak looked handsome in a white shirt that he paired with white trousers and white sneakers.
In another story, he dropped a video of him listening to Aamir Khan and Salman Khan’s famous song ‘Ye Raat Aur Ye Doori’ from the cult film ‘ Andaz Apna Apna’.
The particular video went viral, garnering loads of likes and comments from netizens.

Salman takes inspiration from Marvel’s Groot to answer question on stunts, marriage

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is a Marvel fan and his favourite character is Groot going by his recent post for the ‘Guardian Of The Galaxy Volume 3’.
Salman took to his social media, where he shared a promotional video for the upcoming Marvel film. In the clip, he is seen sitting in his vanity and looking at videos of Groot from the film.
The ‘Dabangg’ star then goes to a press conference, where he is asked about his next film’s title, to which he replies in Groot’s mannerism “I am Groot”.

As Salman says: “I am Salman”.
He is then asked about the dialogues, to which he replies “I am Salman” in different ways.
A reporter then asks him if he was scared performing the stunts, to which he again says ‘I am… Salman’, in an intense way.
Finally, a female journalists says that all the other Khan’s are married and asked him about his marriage, to which Salman puts on his headphones and listens to the the title track of the ‘Guardian Of The Galaxy Volume 3’.
He captioned the clip: “I live in Galaxy… Uparwale are my Guardians… Swagat karo mere new friend ka on May 5th. only in cinemas #GotGVol3 @Marvel_India.”

James Gunn directorial, ‘The Guardians of Galaxy Volume 3’ stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter and Maria Bakalova.

Mumbai: Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai’s tumultuous relationship is still a topic of interest among many Bollywood fans, even though the two parted ways on a sour note. The actors began dating in the late 1990s but their relationship ended in the early 2000s after Aishwarya accused Salman of physical abuse. Over the years, both Salman and Aishwarya have been asked about the break-up and recently, an old video has resurfaced where Salman can be seen reacting to Aishwarya’s allegations.
In the video, the interviewer asked Salman Khan whether he had hit Aishwarya physically or not? Bhaijaan replied that Aishwarya’s ‘abuse claims’ are false. He is seen saying in the video, ‘If I hit her, she wouldn’t survive.’
He can be seen saying in the interview, “Now, the woman has said that I have, what to say.” When the reporter asked Salman if he did not want to get into that, the actor responded, “A journalist, who asked me this a long time ago and I just banged the table and he got startled if the table really broke.”

“I said, ‘Now if I hit somebody, it’s obviously going to be a fight. I’m going to be angry. Forget whack, I’m going to give her my best shot. I don’t think she’ll survive it. So no, it’s not true and I don’t know for what reason that was said,” the clip quotes Salman as saying.
The duo started dating each other during their 1998 film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The relationship between the two ended in 2002.
After the break-up, Aishwarya poured her heart out. She told the Bombay Times at that time, “I stood by him enduring his alcoholic misbehaviour in its worst phases, and in turn, I was at the receiving end of his abuse (verbal, physical, and emotional), infidelity, and indignity. That is why like any other self-respecting woman, I ended my relationship with him.”

“Country is in safe hands”: Kangana Ranaut reacts to Salman Khan receiving death threat

Haridwar: Actor Kangana Ranaut on Sunday reacted to Salman Khan receiving death threats, saying that the country is in the safe hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah and therefore there is nothing to fear about security.
She said, “We are actors. Salman Khan has been provided with security by the Centre. He is getting protection from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, then there is nothing to fear.”
“When I was threatened, I was also given security by the government, today the country is in safe hands. We have nothing to worry about,” she added.

Ranaut visited Haridwar on Sunday and performed Ganga Aarti. She would also be visiting Kedarnath Dham after this.
The actor said, “I always wanted to visit Kedarnath Dham and finally that is happening.”
Salman Khan has been provided with Y+ category security by the Mumbai Police amid the death threat.

Following the death threat, few days ago, a minor was arrested by Mumbai Police for allegedly threatening to kill Salman.
Mumbai Police said that a threat call was made to the Mumbai Police control room on April 10. The caller, who identified himself as Rockey Bhai from Jodhpur in Rajasthan, said he was a Gau Rakshak (cow-vigilante). The caller threatened to “eliminate” Salman Khan on April 30.
Mumbai Police added revealed the caller was found to be a minor. “As of now, we don’t think the call should be taken seriously. But we are probing why the minor behaved in such a way,” an officer said.
On March 26, one person identified as Dhakad Ram, a resident of Luni in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur district, was arrested for sending a threat mail to Salman. He was apprehended and taken into custody.
A case was registered at Bandra police station. The accused, in his mail, alleged that the superstar will meet the same fate as “Sidhu Moosewala.”
“A case has registered at Bandra police station with regard to emailed threats to kill Salman Khan. In a joint operation, Mumbai Police and Luni police teams caught the accused, Dhakad Ram, a resident of Luni in Jodhpur district,” Ishwar Chand Pareek, an officer at Luni police station of Jodhpur told ANI earlier.
Khan has been provided with Y+ category security by the Mumbai police after assessing threat perceptions. The Maharashtra government assigned security escorts to the superstar after the actor received a threat letter from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

“Was planning for a child but…”: Salman Khan on parenthood, marriage

According to sources, Bhansali was able to convince Shah Rukh Khan to join the project. Filmfare Awards 2023: Salman Khan, Govinda reunite for a special ‘Partner’ performance

Mumbai: Superstar Salman Khan and Govinda shared screen space in David Dhawan’s ‘Partner’ in 2007, triggering a laugh riot with their chemistry and comic timing.
The duo came together at Filmfare Awards 2023 on Thursday and did a special dance performance together, ushering in a wave of nostalgia among fans.
