    Mumbai: Manoj Bajpayee is regarded as one of the best actors who fits in any role. His unique way of delivering dialogues and facial expressions is always loved by his fans. The actor worked with various directors but today we will tell about how Manoj Bajpayee sees popular director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV). The Gulmohar actor recently in an interview admitted that he owes his career to RGV.

    The actor in an interview said that he is still in touch with RGV and they talk to each other quite often. He said RGV calls him sometimes to give him ‘gaalis’. He further said that RGV scolded him for featuring in a cameo for the remake version of the iconic song, ‘Sapne Mein Milti Hai’. The song starred Dhvani Bhanushali and Abhimanyu Dassani.

    RGV is one of the renowned directors and has helped various people to achieve stardom. Recently, MM Keeravani had credited Ram Gopal Varma after his Oscar win, for giving him a break. Keeravani had said in an interview that ‘Ram Gopal Varma was his first Oscar’.

    Vijayawada: Well-known filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has received his engineering degree 37 years after he finished B Tech from Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur.

    RGV, as the filmmaker is popularly known, took to Twitter to share the picture of his degree certificate and also his excitement.

    “Super thrilled to receive my B tech degree today 37 years after I passed, which I never took in 1985 since I wasn’t interested in practicing civil engineering,” he tweeted. He thanked the university for the same.

    The director had passed B Tech (civil engineering) with second class in the examination held in July 1985.

    RGV also shared a picture with the professors of the university and wrote: “The uneducated me with the highly educated professors of Acharya Nagarjuna University.”

    “I told the honourable vice chancellor Prof Raja Shekar garu I don’t deserve this honour but he insisted I do,” he added.

    “Prof.Rajashekar garu..I usually feel horrible to be honoured ..But this time I truly felt honoured to be with such honourable people on such an honour filled occasion,” RGV wrote.

    Sharing another picture taken while addressing the gathering, the director wrote: “Was trying to spoil Acharya Nagarjuna University students and scholars but they spoiled me.”

    The 60-year-old made his debut in Telugu film industry with crime thriller Siva in 1989.

    Mumbai: Renowned director and filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma or simply RGV won hearts after he visited the family of deceased Pradeep who was mauled to death by stray dogs in Hyderabad. RGV offered condolences to the family members of Pradeep and expressed his concern over the rising dog menace of stray dogs in the city.

    Informing about his visit to the family of deceased, RGV tweeted, “Here is the family of the 4 year old pradeep who was killed by the dogs ..The only thing good in this entire thing is that this broad daylight murder brought the issue of dog menace to the centre stage #JustifyPradeep.”

    His visit to the child’s family is being appreciated by the netizens. One of the Twitter users wrote, ”Because of u @RGVzoomin sir this has became an sensation and take seriously action on it.Hats off.” Another wrote, “Sir. Appreciate at last some celebrity showing spine in voicing against this menace ! These problems seems to have risen manifold only after the 2000’s due to the draconian ABC law designed to keep stray dog menace alive.”

    Relevant to mention here that Pradeep was mauled to death by street dogs near his father’s workplace at a housing society in Hyderabad on 19th of February. He was rushed to the nearby hospital after dogs attacked him but unfortunately, he was declared dead on arrival by the doctors. The video of the attack was recorded on a CCTV camera too.

    When asked about the rising dog menace in the city, state’s cabinet minister KT Rama Rao said, “We’ve been trying to tackle street dog menace in our municipalities. We’ve created animal care centres and animal birth control centres. My sincere condolences to the family and we’ll ensure that our best is done so that these incidents are not repeated”.
