NDTV shares revised share-holding patter with government: I&B minister

New Delhi: Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has shared the revised share-holding pattern and the names of proposed new directors of NDTV for security clearance with the Union home ministry, the Lok Sabha was informed on Tuesday.
Adani Group gained control of NDTV last year by acquiring 64.71 per cent stake in the company.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur, in a written reply in the Lok Sabha, said M/s New Delhi Television Ltd. (NDTV) has intimated the ministry regarding change of its shareholding pattern in compliance with Clause 29 of the Policy Guidelines for Uplinking and Downlinking of Television Channels in India, 2022.
“This ministry has shared the revised shareholding pattern of the company with the Ministry of Home Affairs for security clearance,” he said, responding to a question from Congress member Manish Tewari.
“Further, M/s NDTV has also submitted the details of its proposed new Directors to this Ministry. The list of the proposed new Directors as submitted by M/s NDTV has been sent for Security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs, which is awaited,” Thakur said.

Power Curtailment Schedule Revised In Kashmir: KPDCL

SRINAGAR: The government on Monday said that the power curtailment has been reduced by three hours and that the new power schedule will be announced by the end of March.
Chief Engineer, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), Javed Yousuf Dar, said that there has been reduction in the power curtailment since the beginning of this month.
He also said that in the metered areas, the power curtailment in less than three hours, adding, “We are planning to come up with the new power schedule by the end of March.”
Earlier, the KPDCL in wake of the winter season had announced curtailment schedule in Kashmir. The authorities had decided to go for eight hour curtailment for non-metered areas and 4.5-hour power cuts in the metered areas. (KNO)

Telangana: GO 59 revised for land regularisation under LRS

Hyderabad: Telangana government has revised the GO MS No 59 dealing with the regularisation of government land under private possession of individuals or the Land Regularisation Scheme (LRS).
GO 59 basically deals with the transfer of rights on land encroachments on unobjectionable government land or surplus land under the urban land ceiling to the people on a payment basis.
As per the amendment issued on December 30, 2014, possessions of unobjectionable government land and surplus land under the urban land ceiling will be regularised by way of alienations.
Only encroachment by way of functional building units is considered for assignment and possession held on or before June 2, 2014, and will be eligible for regularisation.
However, the new amendment allows the government to collect market rates existing at the time of submission of the application for regularisation against the cut-off date of June 2, 2014, in contradiction to the order prescribed earlier.

In continuation to examination Notification No:- 68- SPMC of 2023, Dated :- 02.02.2023, and 69 – SPMC of 2023, Dated :- 04.02.2023, The revised Date for Theory Examination of all eligible / failure / Backlog / Other eligible Nursing / Paramedical Trainees of Government AMT/ ANMT Schools/ GNM Schools/ Private Paramedical / Nursing Institutions of Jammu / Kashmir Including Ladakh Divisions affiliated with J&K Paramedical / Nursing Council Jammu/Srinagar for Annual / Bi-Annual (Session OCTOBER-NOVEMBER 2022′ & March-April’ 2023) in view of forthcoming Board examinations of Class 10th, 11th and 12th, shall, be now conducted as per revised Date Sheet Notified hereunder for Theory Part of Examination.
It is accordingly enjoined upon all the Principals / Heads of the Institution(s) of Govt. AMT / ANMT Schools /GNM Schools / Private Paramedical Institutions concerned will accordingly issue Roll Number Slips to the examinees, once the same is received from the office of the J&K State Paramedical / Nursing Council Jammu/ Srinagar. The examination will Start at 12:30 PM sharp
Note :
1. Centre Notification and Date Sheet for Practical Examination shall be issued separately by Controller of Examinations of Both Divisions of Jammu and Kashmir in due course of time.
2. Candidates are directed not to use any kind of Electronic Gadget etc. in the Examination Hall, If any, candidate is found in possession of such gadget, he/she may lead to Unfair Means and subsequent disqualification,
3. Candidates are directed to bring along their Roll No Slips/Admit Cards on the date of Examination.

JKP Border Battalion Result Cancelled, Revised Result to be Issued- More Details Here
Authorities on Monday cancelled the results of 2 Border Battalions of Jammu and Kashmir Police Border Battalion after observing some discrepancies. However, the officials said that revised results will be issued
A notification issued in this regard by ADGP Coordination, reads that after the declaration of final result issued on 25-01-2023 in respect of candidates of UT of J&K who have participated in recruitment process for the post of Constable in 02 Border Battalions of J&K Police conducted in terms of the above referenced advertisement notifications, some discrepancies in the said result were observed.
