The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued an advance notice regarding the conduct of written examinations/computer-based written tests (CBT) for various posts in 2023. The tentative schedule for the exams is listed in Annexure “A” of the notice, which was issued on 06.01.2023.

TS ICET 2023 notification released

Warangal: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released a notification for the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET-2023) for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) courses.
TSCHE Chairman Prof R Limbadri released the notification at the Kakatiya University here on Tuesday.
Interested and eligible candidates can register and submit their application forms online from March 6 to May 6 without any late fee. While the fee for the test is Rs 550 for SC/ST/Differently abled candidates, others have to pay Rs 750.
According to officials, the last day for the registration and submission of the applications with a late fee of Rs 250 is May 12, and with the late fee of Rs.500, the candidates can apply up to May 18.
The exam will be held for two days on May 26 and 27 in two sessions each day. The announcement of the preliminary key will be done on June 5, and the last date for submission of objections on the preliminary key is June 8. The results will be announced on June 20. The test will be conducted at 75 centres.

Rare Apple products released between 1977 and 2008 go up for auction

More than 500 classic products from apple will be auctioned online on March 30. The collection “The Hanspeter Luzi Vintage Apple Archive” belonged to the Swiss professor and collector Hanspeter Luzi. The list, which contains items dated from 1997 to 2008, includes computers, iPhones, digital cameras, joysticks, among others.
It will be held at Julien’s Auctions Gallery in Beverly Hills (USA), and streamed online on the Julien’s website.
Luzi was from St. Gallen, Switzerland, where she taught children with special needs. The educator developed educational games and teaching aids for his students, including the use of computers. He died in 2015 after having an accident on a mountain. The decision to auction the items rests with the Hanspeter family.
The most expensive product to be auctioned is the Apple Lisa, a computer released in 1983. It was one of the first devices to have a mouse and a graphical interface, and is valued at between US$10,000 and US$20,000.

Hyderabad: Detailed schedule for SCB polls for 8 civilian wards released

Hyderabad: The SCB officials during the board meeting on Friday announced the detailed schedule of the upcoming elections and notified that they are already working on the task of making a new voters list.
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) announce that the SCB (Secunderabad Cantonment Board) polls for eight civilian wards will be held on April 30.
Those eligible to vote can register their votes from March 1 onwards.
Chief Executive Officer (SEO) of SCB, D Madhukar Naik said, “Elections will be held in eight wards as per the election gazette notified in 2019 by MoD.”
He further said, “Ward number 8 would be reserved for Scheduled Caste, 2, 5, and 6 have been reserved for women and 3, 4 and 7 wards for general.”
According to the SCB schedule, the last date for inclusion of names in electoral rolls under rule 19(2) is March 4 and the final electoral rolls will be released on March 23.
Meanwhile, nominations will be accepted from candidates on March 28 and 29 and the final list of contesting candidates (after withdrawal) will be announced on April 6.
Free symbols will also be allotted on April 10 and the counting of votes will be taken up on May 1.
