Srinagar, Jan 27 :– Dr Nisar Ahmad Wani a professor from J&K has been nominated as North Region Coordinator by Indian Academy of Health Psychology (IAHP).

“Indian Academy of Health Psychology (IAHP), a professional
organization committed to the development of professional aspects of
health psychology for achieving optimal quality of life and wellbeing
of mankind. The vision of IAHP is to develop and expand applications
of scientific knowledge of health psychology to help people in
achieving optimal mental and physical health. Indian Academy of Health
Psychology (IAHP) is a scientific community comprising of eminent
researchers, scholars, health care professionals and students who
share the common vision of promoting science and practice of health
psychology and its research-based applications. We are actively
involved in organising seminars, debates, workshops and conferences to
bring the scientific community at a common platform to share and
spread the knowledge related to issues and challenges of health
related aspects of mankind.” Reads a nomination letter of IAHP

“As per our conversation that you will  actively provide your dedicated services to
IAHP in the North region of the country, including Jammu and Kashmir,Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana states  by enhancing the membership of IAHP,  organizing workshops, seminars, training programs and conferences  for promotion of health and well-being under the LOGO and banner of IAHP, I am nominating you as Coordinator, North Region of the Indian Academy of Health Psychology and this nomination will be for 3 years from 26 January 2023 .” It adds further.
