SRINAGAR: Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, chaired a meeting on Monday with Civil Administration Officers and Officers of the Indian Army from Chinar Corps to discuss coordination for the Indian Army Recruitment Rally scheduled to be held at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar in June 2023.
The Army Recruiting Office, Srinagar, had recently announced the completion of the online common entrance exam as the first filter in the modified recruitment procedure for the Agnipath Scheme.
The meeting was attended by Mohammad Aijaz Asad, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, representatives from the Police Department, Traffic Police Department, JK SED, JK BOSE, JK BOTE, JK Sports Council, Medical, PWD officers from the civil administration side, and Officers of the Chinar Corps and Army Recruiting Office, Srinagar, from the Indian Army side.
While chairing the meeting, Div Com assured all support from the civil administration for the smooth conduct of the recruitment rally, which will provide a great employment opportunity to the youth of Kashmir in the Indian Army, epitomizing the glorious tradition in nation-building.
Meanwhile, Div Com directed concerned departments to make adequate security arrangements and other necessary requirements to facilitate the aspirants and the agency during the rally. (KNO)

JK Police Constable Recruitment : 6000 Posts Check Details And Eligibility
According to reports, the Jammu and Kashmir Police department has around 6,000 vacant posts, including positions for Jammu and Kashmir Police Sub-Inspector (JKPSI) and constables. This news is likely to be good news for students and job seekers who are preparing for government jobs in the state.

In continuation to the Notification No. JKSSB-LEG/344/2022-03 (248683), dated: 24-02- 2023 and JKSSB-LEG/344/2022-03 (248683), dated: 02-03-2023, additional candidates, whose details are given in Annexures “A” & “B” are hereby called to appear in person for Document Verification before the Document Verification Committees of the Board on 09-05-2023 (Tuesday) & 10-05- 2023 (Wednesday) from 11.00 AM to 05.00 PM, as per the schedule indicated against each at JKSSB Central Office, CPO Chowk, Panjtirthi, Jammu (Jammu based candidates) and at JKSSB Central Office, Zam zam Complex, Rambagh, Srinagar (Kashmir based candidates). Tentative Seniority List of the employees borne upon the establishment of Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board.
WHEREAS, the J&K Services Selection Board issued a circular for notifying the tentative seniority list of the employees borne on the establishment of the Board vide No. SSB/Adm/14/2021/2955-69 dated 22.03.2022; and
WHEREAS, the JKSSB received various representations from the officials in this regard, which have been examined. Among these, one was received from representation Syed Altaf Hussain Andrabi claiming that his name is not figuring in the said tentative seniority list; and
WHEREAS, before the aforementioned tentative seniority could be finalized, various officials have either been promoted or have retired from service during the intervening period, warranting a revision of the seniority; and
Now therefore, a fresh tentative seniority list assigning positions to the officials borne on the establishment of the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board as per their respective merit and in light of Order No. 92-SSB of 2020 dated 03.03.2020, has been prepared on the basis of the available record, which is
Any official, in case aggrieved with the position so assigned to him/her in this tentative seniority, may represent, along-with relevant documentary proof, in the Board within a period of 21 days from the date of this circular, failing which it shall be presumed that the concerned official(s) has/have no objection and the final seniority list shall be notified accordingly.
The date(s) of birth as recorded in this Tentative Seniority List shall not be taken as authentic and the same shall be subject to verification from the Service Books/Matriculation certificates of the concerned employees.
