    Srinagar, May 01: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) Monday expelled former MLA, Haji Abdul Rasheed Dar from basic membership of the party.

    As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), DPAP Chief, Ghulam Nabi Azad expelled Haji Abdul Rasheed Dar, ex Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the basic membership of the party.

    Dar has been expelled from the party for his anti-party activities—(KNO)

    Srinagar, Mar 6 (GNS): Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday ordered transfers and posting of two IAS ranked officers in the interest of the administration with immediate effect.

    “Dr. Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, IAS (AGMUT:2001), awaiting orders of adjustment, is posted as Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor. He shall also hold the charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, in addition to his own duties”, reads an order, a copy of which lies with GNS.

    “Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, IAS (AGMUT:2012), Administrative Secretary, Culture Department, holding additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Economic Reconstruction Agency, J&K, is transferred and posted as Administrative Secretary, Tourism Department relieving Mr. Sarmad Hafeez, IAS, of the additional charge of the post. He shall also hold the charge of Administrative Secretary, Culture Department and Chief Executive Officer, Economic Reconstruction Agency, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders”, the order reads.     Express condolence assured free and impartial investigation in the matter

    Kupwara, Mar 2 (GNS): Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray along with SSP Kupwara, Yougal Manhas today visited the family of deceased Abdul Rasheed Dar at Kunan Poshpora in Kupwara district to pay their condolences.

    Both the dignitaries assured the family that investigation will be conducted in a transparent and impartial manner to bring it to a logical conclusion.

    On the occasion, the family members extended their gratitude towards District Administration for tracing out the mortal remains of deceased Abdul Rasheed Dar. The BDC Chairperson and local Sarpanchs and Panchs present on the occasion, equally extended their gratitude to Deputy Commissioner Kupwara and SSP Kupwara in handling the case.

    The family members also assured that they will not allow any antisocial elements to take undue benefit out of the unfortunate incident.(GNS)
