    Admit Cards can be downloaded from the University websites www.kashmiruniversity.net / www.kashmiruniversity.ac.in from 22-05-2023 after 02:00 PM. However, the M P Ed. Aspirants can download their Admit Cards after the conduct of Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to be conducted by Department of Physical Education, University of Kashmir. The notification regarding the same will be issued separately;

    • Candidates must check their Roll Numbers and Centres allotted with the General Centre Notice, available on the University Website well before the commencement of the Entrance Test;
    • The candidates are advised to disperse after examination is over and should leave the examination centre immediately;
    • A candidate shall be admitted to Examination Hall only on production of a) Admit Card downloaded from Kashmir University website, and b) valid photo Identity Card;
    • Electronic devices like Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, Calculators, Electronic Watches, etc. shall not be allowed in the Examination Hall and no arrangements for depositing the same shall be available in the examination hall. Possession of any such gadget shall invite action under rules;
    • Candidates must not carry any material related to the examination with them and possession of any such material shall invite punitive action;
    • Candidates are advised to carry only following items with them into the examination venue:
      • Admit Card downloaded from the University of Kashmir website;
      • Personal transparent water bottle;

    Govt Orders Regularization Of Headmasters And ZEOs In School Education Department- Download PDF Here – Kashmir News

    The Government Of Jammu And Kashmir has ordered Regularization of Headmasters and equivalent (In-charge ZEOs and equivalent) as ZEOs & equivalent in School Education Department.

    • State Administrative Council Decision No.166/22/2018 dated 07.12.2018
    • Minutes of Departmental Promotion Committee meeting held on
      12.01.2023

    According to a government order, On the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee constituted vide Government Order No. 115-GAD of 2019 dated 23.01.2019 and meeting held on 12.01.2023, sanction is herely accorded to the regularization of Headmasters and equivalent (In-charge ZEOs and equivalent) as ZEOs & equivalent in School Education Department as mentioned in Annexure-A’ to this Government Order in the pay scale of (Rs.52700 – 166700) Level-9 with effect from the dates indicated against each.

    The regularization is without prejudice to the outcome of any writ petition pending in any competent court(s) of law or any case pending in Vigilance or Crime Branch. The regularization is further subject to the following conditions:

    1. The Drawing & Disbursing Officers shall take an undertaking from the concerned Officer in shape of an affidavit duly attested by the 1st Class Magistrate to the effect that if his/her service particulars/ Academic credentials are found fake/forged, he/she shall have no claim for the regularization and the regularization order issued in his/her favour shall be cancelled ab-initio without further notice.
    2. The Drawing & Disbursing Officers concerned shall obtain LPC and other related details before fixing the pay of these Officers in the relevant pay scales.
    3. For time-barred arrear claims, the Drawing and Disbursing Officers
      concerned shall follow the instructions of the Finance Department issued vide No. A/23(08)-I-B-184 Dated 18.02.2021 and other relevant orders. The Drawing & Disbursing Officers shall be responsible for implementation/ fulfillment of above conditions in letter and spirit.

    Government of Jammu And Kashmir has Released Tentative seniority list of the members of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, appointed to the service between 01.01.2019 to 31.12.2022.

    WHEREAS, the final seniority list of the members of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS), appointed to the service between 01.01.2016 to 31.12.2018, as it stood on 31.12.2018 was notified, vide Government Order No. 979-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 22.09.2021;

    AND WHEREAS, further appointments have been made to the Time Scale of JKAS between 01.01.2019 to 31.12.2022 from amongst the members of Junior Scale of JKAS and the departmental feeding services;

    AND WHEREAS, consequent upon the aforesaid appointments to the Time Scale of JKAS, it is necessary to notify the seniority of these officers, in accordance with the relevant provisions of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service Rules, 2008.

    NOW, THEREFORE, a tentative seniority list of the officers, appointed to the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service between 01.01.2019 to 31.12.2022 (excluding the retired officers), as it stood on 01.01.2023, is hereby notified forming annexure-A to this Circular.

    Any officer, aggrieved with the position so assigned to him/her in the aforesaid tentative seniority list, may represent to the Government within a period of 21 days from the date of issue of this order, failing which, it shall be presumed that the concerned officer() has/have no objection and the final seniority list shall be notified accordingly.

    The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board(JKSSB) has released has released a Provisional Selection List of Health and Medical Education Department for various posts. These posts include laboratory technicians, laboratory assistants, laboratory technologists, injectors, junior health inspectors, dhobis, carpenters, tailors, lift operators, plumbers, electricians, gas pipeline operators, welders/fitters, tin smiths, mistrys, and various other technical and non-technical posts.

    The Provisional Selection List has been published on the basis of the written test held on 17th and 18th July 2021. The candidates who have been provisionally selected will now have to undergo document verification and other formalities before the final selection. The final selection will be based on the merit-cum-preference of the candidates and the availability of the vacancies.

    It is important for the provisionally selected candidates to ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria and possess the required documents for verification. In case any candidate is found ineligible or fails to produce the required documents during the verification process, his/her candidature may be canceled.
