Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster ‘Pathaan’ will now become the first Hindi film to release in Bangladesh post 1971. It is set to release on May 12 in Bangladesh.
Nelson D’Souza, Vice President, International Distribution, said, “Cinema has always been a unifying force between nations, races and cultures. It transcends borders, galvanises people and plays a significant hand in bringing people together.”
“We are incredibly thrilled that ‘Pathaan’, which has done historic business worldwide, will now get a chance to entertain audiences in Bangladesh!”

He adds, “Pathaan becomes the first Hindi film to release in Bangladesh post 1971 and we are thankful to the authorities for their decision. We have learnt over the years that Shah Rukh Khan has tremendous fan following in Bangladesh and we feel Pathaan, our latest offering from YRF’s Spy Universe, is the perfect first film of SRK & Hindi cinema to release in the country and represent Indian culture and cinema in its full glory.”
‘Pathaan’ is also the highest grossing film of the fabled YRF’s Spy Universe that also includes blockbusters like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘War’.

Mumbai: Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has become the talk of the town in Bollywood! The action-packed spy thriller has not only revived the Indian film industry, but it has also broken several box office records. In just a few weeks, the film has grossed over Rs 1,000 crore at the global box office, making it one of the highest-grossing films of all time.
Furthermore, a latest report in Bollywood Hungama indicate that SRK received a whopping 60% of the total profit as his remuneration for the film. Pathaan was made on a Rs 270 crore budget, and Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films made a Rs 333 crore profit, with the superstar actor reportedly pocketing Rs 200 crore from the overall profits.
The success of the film can be attributed to its star-studded cast, which includes Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, Ashutosh Rana, and Salman Khan in a cameo appearance. But it’s SRK ‘s excellent portrayal as a badass spy that steals the show.

Pathaan has served as a sort of comeback for Shah Rukh Khan following the failure of his previous film, Zero. The actor spent the majority of the lockdown with his children and even joked about pursuing a second career as a chef. However, with the success of Pathaan, it appears that the superstar actor is back with a bang and has reaffirmed his position as Bollywood’s king.

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri posed with kids for another blockbuster frame, fan calls it ‘Hamari Pathaan family’

Mumbai: Gauri Khan treated her fans on Tuesday to a super-exclusive fam-jam frame, that made a way into her book, “My Life In Design.”
“My coffee table book, #MyLifeInDesign, now available in stores,” Gauri wrote in the caption.
The frame shows Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan and Abram all twinning in black leather jackets. While Gauri and Suhana ramped up their glamour meter with white tops and black leather pants. They all posed in the lavish drawing room of Mannat.

Manish Malhotra, Zoya Akhtar, Seema Sajdeh, Bhavna Pandey, Anaita Shroff Adajania showered love on Gauri’s post.
A fan wrote, “World’s no1 beautiful family.” Another one wrote, “Hamari Pathaan family.”
This is not the first time that Gauri lets the door of Mannat open to the world.

In another frame, the ‘Pathaan’ family was dressed in white and blue outfits. The men of the family teamed up a white shirt with a blue denim jacket. Sushana and Aryan were looking at Abram, while the youngest member stole the limelight with his cutest smile.
Reportedly, Shah Rukh first met Gauri in 1984, when he was all of 18. Gauri was just 14 at the time. He bumped into her at a party where she was dancing with her friend. After Gauri spoke to him for ‘more than three seconds’, he felt ‘encouraged’ and wanted to date Gauri.
After dating for a couple of years, the two tied the knot on October 25, 1991.
Six years after their wedding, Gauri and Shah Rukh welcomed their first son, Aryan Khan. Shah Rukh and Gauri’s daughter Suhana Khan was born in 2000, while their youngest, son AbRam Khan, was born in 2013, via surrogacy.
Apart from interior design commitments, Gauri also made a special appearance in the two seasons of the Netflix original series ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.”

SRK hails Rinku’s 5 successive sixes against GT with ‘Pathaan’ twist

Mumbai: Actor and owner of the cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders, Shah Rukh Khan, on Sunday, hailed cricketer Rinku Singh for his stupendous 5 successive sixes in the final over of KKR’s thrilling IPL 2023 match against GT at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Taking to Twitter, SRK shared a morphed poster of his film ‘Pathaan’ with Rinku’s face on it and wrote, “JHOOME JO RINKUUUUU !!! My baby @rinkusingh235 And @NitishRana_27 & @venkateshiyer you beauties!!! And remember Believe that’s all. Congratulations @KKRiders and @VenkyMysore take care of your heart sir!”
SRK’s son Aryan Khan took to his Instagram account and shared a picture on his story and captioned it, “BEAST.”

Talking about the match, Gujarat Titans posted 204/4 in their 20 overs after electing to bat first. Vijay Shankar top-scored with 63 off 24 balls, consisting of four boundaries and five sixes. Sai Sudharshan also scored his second half-century in IPL 2023, scoring 53 in 38 balls consisting of three fours and two sixes. Shubman Gill also played a solid knock of 39 runs in 31 balls, with five fours.
Sunil Narine was the pick of the bowlers for KKR, taking 3/33 in four overs. Suyash Sharma also continued his solid run after a three-fer against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the previous match, taking 1/35 in his four overs.
In chase of 205 runs, KKR was reduced to 28/2, but skipper Nitish Rana (45 off 29 balls with four boundaries and three sixes) put on a hundred-run stand for the third wicket with Venkatesh Iyer, who scored 83 in 40 balls, which consisted of eight fours and five sixes.
Dismissal of these two set batters and Rashid’s hat-trick put KKR on the backfoot at 155/7. The equation came down to 29 runs in the final over. Rinku Singh came through with a clutch cameo, hitting five successive sixes in the final over to seal what was once an improbable win for KKR. Rinku scored 48* in 21 balls, consisting of one four and six sixes.
Rashid was the pick of the bowlers for GT, taking 3/37. Alzarri Joseph took two, while Joshua Little and Mohammed Shami took a wicket each.

Rinku Singh was given the ‘Player of the Match’ award for his unbelievable match-winning cameo.
With this win, KKR has climbed to third position in the points table, winning two of their three matches and losing one. They have a total of four points. GT has slipped to fourth position and has a similar win-loss record to KKR, but KKR is one position up due to superior net-run-rate.

IPL 2023: SRK teaches Virat Kohli ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ hook step

Kolkata: Bollywood and cricket make the perfect match. The IPL 2023 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday saw superstar Shah Rukh Khan casting a spell over cricketers and spectators at the stadium.
After KKR registered a remarkable win against the RCB, the team’s co-owner SRK entered the ground and met all the players. He also interacted with former RCB skipper Virat Kohli.
Several images and videos from the Thursday’s evening fixture went viral. In one of the clips, SRK is seen getting excited at spotting Kohli. He went over to him and gave him a tight hug.

SRK also convinced Kohli to try the viral steps from the Jhoome Jo Pathaan song from his blockbuster ‘Pathaan’.
SRK and Kohli’s brief meeting left fans excited.
Reacting to the duo’s images and videos, a social media user commented, “This made my day.”
“King of Bollywood meeting King of Cricket,” another one wrote.
Shah came to the venue with his daughter Suhana Khan and Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor. The team’s co-owner and actor Juhi Chawla also cheered the boys in purple and gold on during their big win over the RCB.
Speaking to ANI, Juhi expressed happiness over the win.

“I’m very happy with our team’s performance. I just hope and pray that all our matches end like this. Every seat at Eden Gardens was occupied. Let’s make the finals this year, let’s be champions,” she added.
KKR ended their innings at 204/7 in 20 overs, with Umesh Yadav (6) and Sunil Narine (0) unbeaten. RCB’s death bowling was a culprit as the side gave away 57 runs in the final four overs. RCB failed to chase the target. RCB were bundled out for 123.

Siddharth Anand to helm ‘Tiger vs Pathaan’

Mumbai: The Bollywood spy-universe is witnessing a post Big Bang moment. After it was reported earlier that Jr NTR will join ‘War 2’ as the antagonist, another movie from the spy-universe has locked the face for designation of director. The film ‘Tiger vs Pathaan’ will be helmed by Siddharth Anand, who is basking in the historic success of ‘Pathaan’.
The film will showcase a ruthless face-off between the two of the biggest superstars of Indian cinema — Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
Talking about the new development, a veteran trade source said, “Aditya Chopra has immense trust in Siddharth Anand to deliver a grand visual spectacle that has never been seen before with ‘Tiger vs Pathaan’. Siddharth is getting a dream cast of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan coming together for their first full-fledged film since ‘Karan Arjun’ and Siddharth will also be given all the support he needs to mount ‘Tiger vs Pathaan’ as the biggest film that India has ever produced.”

Earlier, the fans of Sidharth were disappointed with him not directing ‘War 2’ — the sequel to his 2019 blockbuster directorial when Ayan Mukerji was given the charge as the director but, it seems like producer Aditya Chopra is entrusting Sid with a bigger responsibility having seen his brilliant work of extracting the best out of SRK and Salman in the cross-over scene from ‘Pathaan’ and also looking at his brilliant track record at the box-office considering his blockbuster hattrick with ‘Bang Bang!’, ‘War’ and ‘Pathaan’.
The source further mentioned, “YRF’s war chest and its entire creative might is ready to roll out a film that should go down in the history of Indian cinema as a record-smashing blockbuster.”
YRF Spy Universe is now one the biggest IPs in Indian cinema.
From a timeline point of view, YRF’s spy universe started in 2012 when Salman Khan took charge as Tiger in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. In 2017, Salman reprised the role of the super-spy in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. In 2019, Hrithik Roshan made his entry into the universe as the suave super-spy Kabir in ‘War’. With ‘Pathaan’, Shah Rukh Khan entered the YRF spy universe as the super-agent Pathaan and delivered a mammoth global blockbuster.
However, the crossover of spies from this universe only began with ‘Pathaan’ in what will go down in the pages of history as one of the best cinematic moments of mainstream Hindi cinema.

4 deleted scenes of Pathaan that didn’t make it to theatre

Mumbai: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan has managed to drag audiences to the cinemas and the film broke several records at the box office. People were stranded in queues to watch the movie in theatres during the first two weeks. The film is still running in various theatres across India since January and it finally got released on the OTT platform today on the 22nd of March.
Earlier, the director of the film Siddharth Anand had hinted during an interview that the OTT release of the movie will include the deleted scenes which were not shown in theatres. After Siddharth’s revelations, fans were excited to watch the deleted scenes on Prime Video.
Just after watching the movie on the OTT platform today, netizens shared their experiences via tweets and Instagram posts. Fans wondered why various scenes were removed from the movie and said that they wanted to watch all those deleted scenes on the big screen.
Some of deleted scenes from Pathaan have caused quite a stir among fans after its OTT release. One of the deleted scenes shows the protagonist, Pathaan, being subjected to brutal torture by Russians, while another quick scene shows his triumphant return to the RAW office after being rescued by Salman Khan’s character Tiger. The third scene features Deepika Padukone’s character being interrogated by Indian forces.
In addition to the deleted scenes, there are also a few dialogues that didn’t make it to the theatre release. One such dialogues of Shah Rukh Khan is, “Teri Hindi bohot achhi hai..Teri Maa Hindustan aayi thi Kya?”
Pathaan has become the biggest Hindi hit of all time as it collected more than Rs 1000 crore. The movie stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead role.

Pathaan OTT release date out, check when and where to watch it

Mumbai: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan which has earned around Rs 1100 crore and is still running in theatres is all set to release on the OTT platform ‘Prime Video’ too.
The official Twitter handle of Prime Video shared that Pathaan will be released on March 22, 2023 on the platform. The tweet reads, ” we sense a turbulence in the weather, after all Pathaan is coming! #PathaanOnPrime, Mar 22 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.”
According to the tweet, the movie will be released tomorrow and fans are eagerly waiting to watch some deleted scenes of the movie which are not shown in its theatrical release.
Relevant to mention here that it was earlier reported that the movie will be released in April this year. Along with Shah Rukh Khan, the film also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone.

‘Pathaan’ completes fifty days in theatres, still playing in 20 countries

Mumbai: Shah Rukh starrer ‘Pathaan’ completed 50 glorious days in theatres on Wednesday.
“‘PATHAAN’ 50 DAYS… STILL PLAYING IN 20 COUNTRIES… #Pathaan celebrates 50 days at cinemas today… Being screened at 800 cinemas in #India and 135 cinemas across international markets,” trade analyst Taran Adarsh said in a tweet.
Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani shared the same post with folded hand emojis.
The film infused a new lease of life into the pandemic-stricken hindi film industry which has seen back-to-back flops last year.
The film has emerged as the highest grossing hindi film of all time, breaking the record of ‘Bahubali 2.’ ‘Pathaan’ raked 528.29 crores rupees while ‘Bahubali 2’ minted 510.99 crore rupees.

Recently, the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer became the highest grossing Hindi film ever, breaking the record of ‘Baahubali 2’.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, “#Pathaan #Tamil + #Telugu [Week 5] Fri 2 lacs, Sat 3 lacs, Sun 5 lacs, Mon 2 lacs, Tue 2 lacs, Wed 2 lacs, Thu 2 lacs. Total: Rs 18.24 cr. NOTE: #Pathaan #Hindi + #Tamil + #Telugu combined biz: Rs 528.29 cr. #India biz. Nett BOC.”
The Hindi lifetime collection of Baahubali 2 stood at a staggering Rs 510.99 crore.
Soon after SRK tweeted, fans flooded the comment section and shared their happy reactions.
