SSC GD Answer Key Result Analysis 2023: The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC GD Answer Key. The examination authority, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to release SSC GD Constable Answer Key 2023 at official website: ssc.nic. The SSC GD Constable Exam was held from 10 January to 14 February 2023. Nearly, 52,20,335 candidates registered for the examination. And, nearly 30,41,284 candidates appeared for the exam. SSC GD Constable Exam is conducted for the recruitment in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFS), NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles.

SSC GD 2022 Answer Key has been released for a total of 45284 posts out of which 40274 vacancies are for Male Constables and 4835 vacancies are for Female Constables. For the post of GD constable, candidates have to be minimum of 18 years and maximum 23 years to be eligible.

Procedure for Online Registration

c) Examination Fee. Examination fee of Rs 250/- per applicant is to be paid by the candidate for the online examination. The candidate on successfully filling the application will be directed to SBI portal through a link on the website. At the SBI portal make payment of Rs 250/- plus Bank charges as applicable. The payment can be made through any of these payment options available:-
(i) Payment Gateway Facility through Maestro, Master Card, VISA, Rupay Cards both Credit & Debit of all major banks.
(ii) Internet banking of SBI and other banks.
(iii) UPI (Bhim)
(d) Duplicate/Incomplete/Erroneously filled application will be rejected.
(e) Candidates are required to have an active email & mobile number which will be used for further communication.
(f) Candidates should apply only once in response to this notification.
(g) Candidates must indicate five choices of the exam centre. All Possible effort would be taken to allot exam centre based on first three choices
h) Request for change of exam centre or date of selection test will not be entertained.
(j) Candidates not reporting for the test on due date & time will not be accommodated on other
dates.
(k) Candidate should enter AADHAR number in online application.
(l) For online registration & online application, assistance will also be provided to candidates at ARO Srinagar on working days from 1000 hours to 1400 hours.

Turkey detains building contractors as quake deaths pass 33,000

Even though Turkey has, on paper, construction codes that meet current earthquake-engineering standards, they are too rarely enforced, explaining why thousands of buildings slumped onto their side or pancaked downward onto residents.
Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag said Sunday that 134 people were being investigated for their alleged responsibility in the construction of buildings that failed to withstand the quakes, according to Turkey’s state-run Anadolu news agency. He said that three had been arrested pending trial, seven people were detained and seven other were barred from leaving the country.
Bozdag has vowed to punish anyone responsible, and prosecutors have begun gathering samples of buildings for evidence on materials used in constructions. The quakes were powerful, but victims, experts and people across Turkey are blaming bad construction for multiplying the devastation.
Authorities at Istanbul Airport on Sunday detained two contractors held responsible for the destruction of several buildings in Adiyaman, the private DHA news agency and other media reported. The pair were reportedly on their way to Georgia.
One of the arrested contractors, Yavuz Karakus, told reporters Sunday: “My conscience is clear. I built 44 buildings. Four of them were demolished. I did everything according to the rules,” the DHA news agency reported.
Two more people were arrested in the province of Gaziantep suspected of having cut down columns to make extra room in a building that collapsed, the state-run Anadolu Agency said.
A day earlier, Turkey’s Justice Ministry announced the planned establishment of “Earthquake Crimes Investigation” bureaus. The bureaus would aim to identify contractors and others responsible for building works, gather evidence, instruct experts including architects, geologists and engineers, and check building permits and occupation permits.
The detentions could help direct public anger toward builders and contractors, deflecting attention away from local and state officials who allowed the apparently sub-standard constructions to go ahead. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s government, already burdened by an economic downturn and high inflation, faces parliamentary and presidential elections in May.

Passport, boarding pass no longer needed to be taken out at Dubai Airport

Abu Dhabi: Dubai International Airport (DXB) has launched a new biometric system, which will allow passengers to travel without a passport or boarding pass from Dubai, local media reported.
Using the latest biometric technology, travellers can check in for their flights and complete immigration formalities without taking any identification documents.
As per a report by Gulf News, arriving and departing passengers can scan passports in a few seconds’ via ‘Enhanced Smart Gates’ which feature contactless operation.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) – Dubai stated that verification is done through the iris and biometric information.
According to the DXB website, passengers must remove anything that covers their face, including masks, glasses and hats.
Note that passports and boarding passes should be available only when needed.
This step is part of Dubai’s efforts to develop smart services for smooth travel for all, in line with the leadership’s directives to combine advanced technology in government services, thus improving the quality of life.
Who can use smart gates?
Residents of the UAE, Emirates, GCC nationals, entry visa visitors with biometric passports and guests of the Schengen Union can use the new smart gates.

Who cannot use it?
People of determination and families with children under the age of 15.
According to the GDRFA, pre-registered residents who have resided outside the UAE for six months and those with renewed passports or citizenships also cannot use smart gates.
