San Francisco: The payers of Rockstar Games’ popular multiplayer action-adventure game Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online have reported losing game progress, stealing of in-game money and ban from game servers due to an alleged vulnerability in the PC version of the game.
According to BleepingComputer, the developer of the ‘North’ Grand Theft Auto V cheat exploited a new “remote code execution” vulnerability in the PC game client to remotely change player account attributes (such as zero their money balance), corrupt accounts, and even ban players from the game.
Originally released in October 2013, GTA Online is a multiplayer version of Rockstar Games’ popular action-adventure game series, with updates added to it for free.
The North GTA Online cheat developer added these new features on January 20, as part of its 2.0.0 release, according to the report.
However, on January 21, the developer removed these abusive features, apologising for the mayhem they had caused.
“Removed bad sport/corrupt account for players (bad judgement on my part for adding this public),” read a changelog for the North cheat.
“Removed take money from player (bad judgement on my part for adding this public),” it added.
The reversal, however, came too late, as many gamers had already been affected.
The Rockstar Games support forum has been inundated with user reports of account issues since the cheat’s release, the report mentioned.

Personal Loans are used for many things, including a medical bill, debt consolidation, purchase of a new appliance, vacation, education and more. After borrowing a personal loan, you need to repay the money in EMIs, including the applied interest. Most Personal Loan schemes are unsecured, meaning they do not require any collateral, guarantor, or security for backup.
As far as applying for a Personal Loan online is concerned, aspiring borrowers have two options: the financial institution’s website or mobile app.
You can generally apply for a loan by providing basic personal and income details. The lenders will consider – age, income, employment, credit score, and outstanding debts to assess your eligibility and interest rate. This article will teach you a few crucial steps to get Personal Loan quick approval.
Calculate Personal Loan Eligibility
Qualifying for a Personal Loan involves several steps – and the first one is to ensure that it’s the right loan plan for you. For instance, if you want to borrow money to renovate your house, the loan should be enough to cover the renovation cost.
Although moneylenders determine the loan amount based on – income, credit history, and repayment capacity, be sure to compare loan schemes and get the best offer.
You can calculate Personal Loan eligibility using an eligibility calculator and apply for an appropriate loan plan.
Things to Consider Before Personal Loan Application
Before shopping around for the best Personal Loan offers, here are a few essential things to consider:
Eligibility: Various loan companies like Fullerton India have different eligibility conditions that you need to fulfill to qualify. These include – age, income, employment and credit rating. Check the particular NBFC’s eligibility criteria and ensure fulfilling them before applying to get Personal Loan quick approval.
DocumentationRequirements: Eligible applicants must provide a few necessary documents to support their details. These include – address, income, and identity proof. Check the required documents’ availability before applying to accelerate the loan process.
Interest Rate: The interest rate is a crucial parameter that significantly affects your EMI and total loan cost. The higher the interest rate, the costlier the loan will be. Aspiring borrowers with a good income and decent credit score have higher chances of getting the lowest interest rate on Personal Loans.
Repayment Capacity: Decide on a loan amount you can easily repay within the loan tenure. An individual’s repayment capacity depends on income and financial obligations. Use Fullerton India’s eligibility calculator to calculate Personal Loan eligibility and apply for an adequate loan amount.
Loan EMIs: Use a Personal Loan EMI calculator to calculate the monthly EMI amount for the loan. Ideally, the loan EMI should not consume more than 65% of the applicant’s monthly income. You can easily adjust it into your monthly budget without straining your finances.
Fulfill the Documentation Requirements
Each NBFC has different documentation requirements for Personal Loan applications. These often include the following:
Identity proof, like an Aadhaar card, voter ID, passport, and driving license
Address proof, like an Aadhaar card, voter ID, passport, driving license, rent agreement, ration card, and utility bill
Income proof, like bank statements, salary slips, ITR, Form 16, etc.
Decide on the Loan Amount
Remember that when an individual borrows money, they don’t just repay the principal amount. They also pay interest on the money they borrowed. Paying interest on loan amount that you do not use makes no sense.
However, if you get a lower loan amount than required, eventually, you would seek other expensive funding sources at the last minute. Therefore, the loan amount should be sufficient to cover the intended expense but not more than your repayment capacity.
Check the Credit Score
Personal Loan lenders rely heavily on the applicant’s creditworthiness. It is advised to check credit scores and obtain the latest credit reports before applying. As checking your credit score is a soft inquiry, it does not impact your credit score. If your score is between 750 and 900, the chances of getting quick approval at better interest rates are high.
Complete the Application Process
Visit the selected NBFCs website and fill out their online application form with personal and financial details. Scan and upload the necessary documents to complete the application process. Double-check the details before hitting the submit button and wait for the verification process to complete.
Once the loan company verifies all details and documents, they send a loan offer with the proposed loan amount, interest rate, and loan tenure. When you accept the loan offer, they disburse it directly into your bank account shortly after approval.
Those with excellent credit scores find Personal Loans a reasonably inexpensive way to cover their costs. A Personal Loan’s quick approval depends on the applicant’s creditworthiness, loan purpose, and repayment capacity. After approval and disbursal, borrowers must repay it in EMIs over a set term of up to 60 months.
Online lottery sites have become increasingly popular in India over the past few years, offering players the chance to win big prizes from the comfort of their own homes. With so many sites available, it can be difficult to know which ones are legitimate and offer a safe and secure online lottery experience. To help you make an informed decision, we have selected the most important info about lotteries, their types, and tips for secure playing and winning.
Is It Legal or Not?
An online lottery is a popular form of gambling in India, and it is legal to play online lotteries in 13 Indian states. Websites of online lotteries headquartered outside India are also legal for Indian players. However, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu have banned online lotteries within their respective states.
When playing the lottery online, it is important to ensure that the website you are using is trustworthy and secure. All genuine online lottery sites in India have authentic gambling licenses and high-level security systems to protect players’ personal information. Furthermore, players can rest assured that they will get paid if they win a prize no matter how large. As long as you play on a trusted site, playing the lottery online can be an enjoyable experience with potentially lucrative rewards.
How do Play the Online Lottery when living in India?
Playing an online lottery from India is a great way to win big prizes without having to leave the comfort of your home. To get started, you need to create an account and add lottery tickets to your cart. Once you have selected the tickets you want to purchase, you will need to deposit the exact amount required for those tickets. After that, all you have to do is wait for the online lottery results and collect any prizes if you are lucky enough to win.

Lottery Agents vs. Lotto Betting
Lottery agents and lotto betting are two popular ways of playing the lottery online in India. Lottery agents purchase real tickets on your behalf, with big prizes needing to be claimed in person. Lotto betting is the process of betting on lottery results and being paid by an online lottery site. Most recommended Indian online lottery sites are betting sites, allowing players to receive all prizes without having to travel.
Lottery betting is the most common form of online lottery, offered by most sites. It is generally preferred because claiming prizes is easier and faster, and tickets are usually cheaper. When playing lottery betting, you pick your lucky numbers as usual and the outcome of the official draw determines whether you win or not. Buying official lottery tickets online in India through a lottery messenger service ensures that any winnings will be paid by the lottery. The lotto site has agents located all over the world who will buy a ticket on your behalf and send you a scanned copy of the ticket.
Why Buy Lottery Tickets Online?
Buying lottery tickets online is becoming increasingly popular in India, as it offers a convenient and secure way to participate in the lottery. With online platforms, you can safely store your tickets online and never worry about losing a prize. We recommend using the above-mentioned platforms for purchasing online lottery tickets in India as they have been tested and verified for security purposes. Furthermore, these platforms offer an easy process for purchasing tickets without any hassle or confusion. With all of these benefits, buying lottery tickets online is the way to go!

International Lotteries
Playing the online lottery in India gives access to international lotteries, offering the chance to win millionaire jackpots. International lotteries are available in America, Europe, and Asia, and are a form of gambling involving the drawing of lots for a prize. Lotteries are regulated by governments to varying degrees, with some countries outlawing them and others endorsing them. In some countries, lotteries are legalized by the government as a means of raising revenue for public services or charities.
Lottery tickets can be purchased from authorized retailers or online through websites that offer international lottery services. Players must choose their numbers carefully and pay attention to the draw dates to have a chance at winning the jackpot. The odds of winning vary depending on the number of players participating in each draw and the size of the jackpot. It is important to remember that playing international lotteries involves taking risks and should only be done with the money that you can afford to lose.
Tips to Avoid Getting Scammed on Online Lotteries
Playing online lotteries can be a fun and exciting way to win some money, but it’s important to be aware of the risks associated with it. Scams are unfortunately common in the world of online lotteries, so it’s important to take steps to protect yourself from being taken advantage of. Here are three tips to help you avoid getting scammed on online lotteries:
Play only on websites that have been fully vetted and have a proper license to operate online. This ensures that the site is legitimate and not fraudulent. Also, before you play the lottery online, research and read honest reviews from other players. This will give you an idea of what other people’s experiences with the site have been, which will help you make an informed decision about whether to play there.
Avoid free lotteries in India that promise to give out money, and prefer promotions of free real tickets, discounts, and other offers. Free lotteries are often scams, and you should never give out your personal information or financial details to anyone offering them.
Be sure to read the terms and conditions of any website before signing up for an account. This will help you understand the rules and regulations of the site, as well as any fees that may be associated with playing online lotteries.
Finally, if you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy online lottery service in India, Lottobaba is a perfect choice. Lottobaba is an authorized online lottery provider that offers international lotteries from around the world. They provide secure payment options, 24/7 customer support, and a wide range of promotions and bonuses to make playing the lottery even more exciting. When Twitter first appeared in July 2006, I was enchanted by it. At one point, some geek created an app that logged tweets and geolocated them in real time on a map of the world, so you could watch little dots popping up all over the globe. (I even made a short video recording of my screen and set it to music, but didn’t put it online because I didn’t own the music rights, and now I can’t find it. Sigh – such is digital life.)
What I loved about Twitter at the beginning was that it enabled you to plug into the thought streams of people you liked or admired. Like all good things, though, that came to an end when the platform embarked on the algorithmic curation of users’ feeds to increase “engagement” (and, it hoped, profits). And from then on, it became increasingly tiresome, though I kept my account. But when it became clear that Elon Musk was going to buy the platform – and wreak havoc – I decided to explore possible alternatives.
Like many other people, my gaze alighted on Mastodon as a possible refuge from the Musk-induced madness. After all, it offered its users the same kind of microblogging facilities. But there the similarities ended. Twitter is a single site. Mastodon, in contrast, is a protocol – “a system of rules for spinning up your own social network that can also interact with any other following the same code”. So whereas Twitter is a universe, Mastodon is what has come to be called a “fediverse” – that is, a decentralised network made up of a large number of semi-independent nodes, or as one observer put it: “A distributed network of Twitter-like services.”
That sounds intimidating, but in reality, it’s relatively straightforward. Joining Twitter involves just signing up on twitter.com; but to become a Mastodon user, you have to sign up to one of those semi-independent nodes. They’re basically just servers run by individuals or groups, and Mastodon helpfully provides a list of ones that you might consider joining. Once in, your identity is linked to the server on which you have an account. So if you’ve chosen the username “vici” on the server arsenalfc.social, then your username will be @vici@arsenalfc.social. And you can follow any other Mastodon user, no matter what server they happen to be on.
From then on, it’s a bit like using Twitter – posting rather than tweeting, reposting, liking and so on. The big difference is you only see stuff that those whom you follow have posted: your feed is not algorithmically curated for some venture capitalist’s benefit. (Mastodon is open source and administered by a German-based non-profit company, Mastodon gGmbH.)
If you’re coming from Twitter, the first thing you’ll notice about Mastodon is that it seems quieter, somehow – there’s less shouting, less aggro, less posturing, less humblebragging. And of course it may also seem duller at first, because you’re only seeing what your “followees” (is that a word?) have posted or reposted. You’ll also notice that if one of your contacts wants to post something that they feel might be shocking or disturbing, they have been able to flag it beforehand so you don’t click on it.
So far, so good. But since this is technology, there are downsides. The most obvious one is that while you are no longer at the whimsical mercy of an erratic digital emperor called Elon, the administrator of your chosen Mastodon server may not be an angel (or a Democrat) either – as one blogger discovered. “I believed the Mastodon propaganda,” he wrote, “and picked out a small site from the list at joinmastodon.org. That small site turned out to be run by fascists and does not allow one to cancel one’s account. I left and moved on to a small political site… which kicked my moderate liberal ass out for being too radical. I then decided that being one bird in a large flock was a good idea and signed up for an account at mastodon.social, the Mastodon mother site.”
So is it a substitute for Twitter? I don’t think so, any more than avocados are a substitute for mangoes. Twitter is really for broadcasting – for letting the world at large know what you think, or alerting people to your forthcoming book/event/podcast, or complaining about potholes, Rishi Sunak, Brexit, the metaverse and the general awfulness of everything.
At its best, Mastodon seems to be more about conversation rather than shouting, and in that sense reminds me of the early internet – in the 1980s, before the world wide web – and in particular of Usenet, the network’s first global online discussion space. In which case, wouldn’t it be ironic if the Martian adventurer Musk’s chaotic ownership of Twitter turned out to be bringing us back to the future?

A decade has passed, but at last the star of the internet meme showing a boy glancing sideways in confusion with a cup in his hand while standing in line at a Popeyes is capitalizing on his viral fame.
Dieunerst Collin, an 18-year-old player for the football team at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio, can finally cash in on his online fame thanks to a change in policy from an organization which governs collegiate sports in the US that in 2021 enabled student athletes to earn money from sponsorship opportunities.
“The moment that made us a meme – we didn’t ask for it,” Collin said in a social media video that Popeyes posted last week announcing that the fast-food chain had signed him to a deal that would feature him on billboards and other advertisements. “But don’t worry little man, we didn’t let it stop us.”
Collin became internet famous when he was nine and went to Popeyes to pick up a family pack of chicken, biscuits and fries in Irvington, New Jersey. A stranger who believed Collin resembled a boy who was known on social media at the time for his dance moves pulled out his phone and started recording him while he stood in line holding a cup of lemonade.
Baffled as to why the stranger was recording him, Collin shot over a sideways look. The stranger then published the clip on Vine, the defunct video-sharing application. It went viral and has been used countless times on social media, typically paired with captions declaring discomfort or obfuscation.
Collin’s family initially resented the viral image. They tried to get it scrubbed from the internet, and he was annoyed people would call him by the name of the dancing boy whom the stranger thought Collin looked like.
“I just never thought it would get that big,” Collin said, according to a CNN report published on Friday.
Yet Collin ultimately embraced the meme’s enduring popularity. When he helped his high school win a New Jersey state championship in football in 2021, he posed with the trophy and a side-eyed expression that harkened back to his history as a meme star, local news outlet NJ.com reported.
“From Popeyes to state champion!” a Twitter user wrote in a post containing a picture of Collin’s meme and of him holding the trophy he won with his school.
Collin once again went viral thanks to that tweet, which was shared widely. Only this time, he ended up with an endorsement deal.
On 8 January, after enrolling at Lake Erie to play football and study communications, Collin used his Instagram account and a screenshot of the viral state champion tweet to write a message to Popeyes.
“I just wanna talk business,” Collin wrote, his appeal to Popeyes being boosted by other prominent social media users.
By 12 January, Popeyes signed Collins to one of the so-called name, image and likeness (NIL) deals that the NCAA legalized less than two years ago.
“From memes to dreams, Dieunerst and Popeyes will grace social media feeds once again,” said a statement from Popeyes about the endorsement deal.
Collin has declined to discuss the terms of his deal with Popeyes.
But Popeyes has now put up a billboard with pictures of him then – in line all those years ago – and now in his home town of East Orange, New Jersey. The chain has urged followers to “keep an eye out for other fun [Collin] content”.
Collin told CNN he is – if nothing else – proof of one truism: “A lot can happen with the power of the internet behind you.”
