Seoul; Samsung has announced that the Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN) feature of the Samsung Health Monitor app for Galaxy Watch has received FDA (Food and Drug Administration) clearance.
Together with the app’s existing on-demand Electrocardiogram (ECG) function, the IHRN feature proactively monitors heart rhythms suggestive of atrial fibrillation (AFib — a type of arrhythmia), right from the wrist.
“We’re excited to announce that Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification, designed to help millions of people around the world who may not be aware of a potential heart risk, has been cleared by the FDA,” Hon Pak, Vice President and Head of the Digital Health Team, MX Business at Samsung Electronics, said in a statement.
As cardiovascular disease remains one of the world’s leading causes of death, the company said to help users better understand their heart health Galaxy Watch offers tools such as the Samsung BioActive Sensor, including on-demand ECG recording and HR Alert function that detects abnormally high or low heart rates.
The addition of the new IHRN feature enables Galaxy Watch users to monitor another aspect of their health.
Once activated in the Samsung Health Monitor app, the IHRN feature will check for irregular heart rhythms in the background via Galaxy Watch’s BioActive Sensor.
If a certain number of consecutive measurements are irregular, Galaxy Watch then alerts the user to possible AFib activity and prompts them to take an ECG with their watch for a more accurate measurement, according to the company.
The Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification feature will be available as part of the newly announced One UI 5 Watch, coming first to the upcoming Galaxy Watch devices later this year and later expanding to previous editions.

Qualification and Method of Recruitment
1) No person shall be eligible for appointment or promotion to any post in any class, category or grade in the service unless he/she. possess the qualifications as laid down in the schedule II and fulfills other requirement of recruitment as provided in the rules and orders for the time being in force.
2) Appointment to the service shall be made:
(a) by deputation from Information Technology Department as the case may be.
(b) by promotion in the ratio and in manner as mentioned against each post in Schedule-H.
Reservation in appointments :
While making appointments either by direct recruitment or promotion, reservation shall be made in accordance with the rules and orders issued from time to time for members of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/ Backward Classes or any other category or Class of permanent residents of State under the provisions of Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Act, 2004, and Rules made thereunder.
“Provided that reservation in promotions shall be subject to the outcome of decision on reservation by the Hon/We Supreme Court/High Court.”
Maintenance of seniority lists : Final Seniority of the Assistant Directors Employment (Promote) shall be regulated under the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956 according to their seniority the time of their regularization. The Administrative Department shall maintain an up-to-date final seniority list of Assistant Directors Employment recruited under promotion quota only

Applications are invited from the candidates belonging to UT’s of J&K/Ladakh who are eligible and desirous for admission to M.Sc. Nursing Courses 2023 through offline mode. The selection of the candidates shall be Governed by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination Act, 2002, SRO 505 of 2019 dated 20-08-2019 read with SRO 640 of 2019 dated 24/10/2019 and the Rules and Regulations there under, JK Reservation Act, 2004 as amended vide J&K Reorganization Act, 2019, S.O 127 dated 20-04-2020, S.O 249 dated 23-07-2021 and subject to further amendments, if any, made by the Competent Authority/Govt., issued from time to time.
Eligibility :
Any candidate applying for M.Sc. Nursing courses shall be eligible, if he/she:
a) is a Domicile of UT of J&K/Ladakh,
b) has passed, B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks,
c) should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State/UT Nursing Registration Council,
d) has minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing,
e) has minimum one year of work experience prior to or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
Note :
Seats in the above institutions shall be filled as & when Board receives approval from concerned Universities/Competent Authority, pending if any.

The interested candidates have to submit Application form physically at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar (on working days only) alongwith the following self-attested certificates w.e.f 08-05-2023 to 28-05-2023 (04.00 P.M).
(i) domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (for Candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by the competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate).
(ii) Marks card of B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Courses, whichever is applicable.

(iv) Experience/work Certificate.
(v) Registration Certificate.
(vi) Valid Reserved category certificate, if any &
(vii) Fee of Rs. 1500/-to be paid through POS machine available at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar through debit/credit card.
The Application Form shall be available at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar and also annexed as Annexure “A” to this Notification which can be downloaded from official website www.jkbopee.gov.in
Note :
I) Mere submission of the Application Form and appearance of the aspiring candidate in the Entrance Test shall not confer any preferential right/claim for admission upon the intending applicants, but shall be subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria and the qualification prescribed for the said course during the time of counselling.
II) The Board has right to select /reject any application form at any stage, if found false/fabricated, without issuing any notice to the candidate
