The International Cricket Council (ICC) has completed announcements of the ICC Teams of the Year, a feature of the ICC Awards 2022 which captures the best combined XIs across the different formats of men’s and women’s international cricket after an action-packed year of competition.
International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed the Men’s Test Team of 2022. The players of this have performed exceptionally well in the longest format of cricket. With the growth of T20 cricket, their contribution to the red ball matter for the test cricket fraternity.

The International Cricket Council revealed ICC Men’s T20I Team of the Year 2022. While England’s Jos Buttler has been named the wicketkeeper-captain of the team. Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan has been named as Buttler’s opening partner. Moreover, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya are the three Indians named in the team. England all-rounder Sam Curran also features in the XI.

JKSSB Sub Inspector Result news is Fake: Some news channel and online portals have share previous result with new dates
The Jammu and Kashmir Service selection board has termed the notification put on social media about the results of Sub Inspector examination as fake, fabricated and totally baseless. The authorities have urged the general public and the aspirants not to pay any heed to such fake notifications or rumours spread on social media networking sites.
Reportedly that the results for sub inspector was decalred on 23 January 2023, whereas when we checked the shared Result pdf, the notification reads dated 4/6/2022.

Days after allowing tainted pacer Mohammad Amir to train at the National High-Performance Centre, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Najam Sethi has revealed that the former fast bowler of the Green Army can make a sensational return to international cricket. The former Pakistan fast bowler retired from international cricket back in 2020. Amir famously claimed that he had been “mentally tortured” by the team management before the star cricketer announced his retirement from international cricket.
‘Mohammad Amir Can Play International Cricket’: PCB Chief Opens Doors For Pakistan Pacer’s Comeback
The new PCB chairman said that he has a strong stance against match-fixing but feels that Amir has already paid the penalty for it and the doors of the Pakistan team are open for him
“Mohammad Amir can play international cricket for Pakistan if he takes his retirement back. I always took a strong stance against match-fixing. I believe no convicted player should be spared, but at the same time, a player should be allowed to resume international cricket once he has completed his years of penalty,” Sethi said while addressing a press conference in Lahore on Monday.
Earlier, former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-Ul-Haq also came in support of Amir and stated, “Mohammad Amir is a good player, no doubt. If his fitness is good and if he wants to play and does well at domestic circuit, then he should be considered for national selection for sure.”
Despite his international retirement, Amir continues to ply his trade for the Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and will return for the eighth edition under new captain Imad Wasim. In 59 PSL games, he has taken 54 scalps at 29.59.

The 30-year-old fast bowler represented Pakistan in 36 Test matches and has played 61 ODIs and 50 T20Is as well. He has 119 Test wickets to his credit and owns 81 and 59 scalps in ODIs and T20Is, respectively. He last played for Pakistan in a T20I match against England in Manchester in 2020.

Fake news policing: Govt to hold separate consultation next month on PIB fact check, says MoS IT

New Delhi: Amid outrage over a plan to give powers to its arm PIB to police fake news on social media, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Tuesday said that the government will next month hold discussions with stakeholders before the proposal is implemented.
The minister said that the rules for regulating online gaming are expected to be notified by January 31 after which these will be tabled in Parliament.
“We will hold separate consultation (on PIB fact check) sometime early next month,” Chandrasekhar said when asked about clarification on the proposed amendment to the IT rules 2021.
Chandrasekhar also said that the consultation on Digital Personal Data Protection Act is over and it is being processed within the realms of the government for notification.
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) last week released a modification to the draft Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, which it had previously released for public consultation.
While the consultation is largely going on for framing rules for online gaming, it added a small note in the due diligence section for the removal of content identified as false, fake or misleading by the PIB or any government-authorised agency.
Under the proposed amendment, the due diligence by intermediaries shall include making such efforts to not upload, publish, transmit or share information identified as fake or false by the Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau, which takes cognizance of fake information both suo motu and by way of queries sent by citizens on its portal or through e-mail and WhatsApp and responds with correct information when the same pertains to the government.
The determination of fake news cannot be in the sole hands of the government and will result in the censorship of the press,” the Guild said in a statement here, voicing “deep concern” over the draft amendment to the Information Technology (IT) Rules.
