THESE Farmers to Get Rs 3000 Monthly Pension With PM Mandhan Scheme
The Indian government has introduced several programs for farmers’ welfare, including the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Kisan Samridhi Kendras, the Kisan Credit Card Program, and the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana. Farmers receive Rs 6000 annually through the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi in three equal instalments of Rs 2000. The central government has also created the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana (PMKMY) to assist farmers in their old age. This government scheme was created to provide social security and old-age protection to small and marginal farmers (SMF).
All small and marginal farmers, who have cultivable landholdings up to 2 hectares and who are between 18 and 40, are eligible to enrol in the pension plan under the program if their names are included in the land registers of the States/UTs. After turning 60, farmers covered by this program will earn a minimum guaranteed pension of Rs 3000 per month. The farmer’s spouse will be eligible to receive 50% of the pension as a ‘family pension’, in the event of the farmer’s death. Children are not eligible to be beneficiaries of the family pension, only spouses are.
Until they reach the age of 60, registrants between 18 and 40 would be required to make monthly contributions, ranging from Rs 55 to Rs 200. The applicant or subscriber can make a pension claim when they reach 60 years of age. A set pension amount is placed into their account each month.
Following the plan, the government provides a matching contribution. If a farmer contributes Rs 100 each month to the pension fund, the government will match that contribution. 1,92,5,369 farmers have so far chosen to participate in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana.
One should keep in mind that only those small farmers who are not covered by any other statutory social security programs, such as the National Pension Scheme (NPS), Employees’ State Insurance Corporation program, or Employees’ Fund Organization program, are eligible for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana. Farmers who chose to participate in the Ministry of Labour & Employment-run Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Vyapari Maandhan are likewise ineligible to register for PMKMY.

The government runs Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana, the Kisan Credit Card Program, the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and many more welfare schemes for the well-being of farmers. Following suit, the Indian government launches Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana (PMKMY) to help farmers economically as they age.
Benefits of PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana
If their names are included in the land registries of the States/UTs, all small and marginal farmers who have cultivable landholdings of up to 2 hectares and who are between the ages of 18 and 40 are eligible to enroll in the pension plan under the programme. Farmers who are enrolled in this programme would receive a minimum guaranteed pension of Rs 3000 per month after they turn 60. In the event of the farmer’s passing, the farmer’s spouse will be qualified to receive 50 percent of the pension as a “family pension.” Only spouses are entitled to receive the family pension; children are not.

Monthly Contribution
Participants must pay a monthly contribution of between Rs. 55 and Rs. 200. When they turn 60, the applicant or subscriber can file a pension claim. Each month, a predetermined pension amount is deposited into their account.
Age Requirement
One between 18 years and 40 can participate in the scheme. They can make a monthly contribution.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana, a small farmer must not be covered by any other statutory social security programmes, such as the National Pension Scheme (NPS), Employees’ State Insurance Corporation programme, or Employees’ Fund Organization programme. Farmers who decided to participate in the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana or the Pradhan Mantri Vyapari Maandhan are administered by the Ministry of Labour & Employment, are also ineligible to enrol for PMKMY.

2. Apart from this, it will be necessary to provide PAN and Aadhaar for cash withdrawal of Rs 20 lakh or more from one or more bank accounts or cooperative banks or post offices in a financial year.
3. And if a person opens a current account or cash credit account with any bank or cooperative bank or post office, then he will have to give PAN and Aadhaar number.
It will help in preventing tax evasion.
In fact, through this step, the government wants to bring more and more people under the tax net, who do huge cash transactions but do not have a PAN card, nor do they file income tax returns. . The information is available with the tax department that there are many people who deposit and withdraw more than 20 lakhs in a bank account within a year but do not file income tax returns.
Now, if PAN is made mandatory for transactions of 20 lakhs or more, whenever someone is found doing transactions of more than this amount, the Income Tax will be able to easily trace such transactions and this will also help in preventing tax evasion.

SBI Change ATM Withdraw Process: State Bank of India has now changed the method of withdrawing cash from ATM. Now SBI has started OTP service to withdraw cash from ATM.

According to the bank, while completing the transaction, the bank customers will have to share the OTP while withdrawing cash from the ATM, so that it is ensured that the ATM user is the right user. OTP is a system-generated four-digit number that the bank will send to the customer’s registered mobile number. This OTP will authenticate the cash withdrawal and will be valid for only one transaction.

The country’s largest lending bank SBI had started OTP-based cash withdrawal services from January 1, 2020. SBI has been creating awareness about ATM frauds through social media and other platforms from time to time. It is appealing to all its customers to avail the service.

IndusInd Bank has increased the interest rates on fixed deposits of less than Rs 2 crore. According to the bank’s website, the new rates will be applicable from February 16, 2023.

What are the new interest rates on FD?

According to the website of IndusInd Bank, the bank will now get interest at the rate of 3.50 per cent on fixed deposits maturing between 7 and 30 days.
At the same time, the bank will have 4.00 percent interest rate on fixed deposits with a period between 31 days and 45 days.
Whereas, interest will be at the rate of 4.50% on FDs with tenure ranging from 46 days to 60 days. On the other hand, interest will be given at the rate of 4.60 percent on FDs with maturity of 61 days and 90 days.

On the other hand, the interest rate on fixed deposits with maturity of 91 days and 120 days has gone up to 4.75 per cent. Interest will be available at the rate of 5.00 percent on FDs of 121 days to 180 days in this private bank. At the same time, the interest rate on fixed deposits between 181 days and 210 days has been increased to 5.75 percent. The bank will have an interest rate of 5.80 per cent on fixed deposits with maturity between 211 days and 269 days.

Customers will get so much benefit
At the same time, the interest rate on FDs maturing between 270 days and 354 days in IndusInd Bank will be 6 percent. On the other hand, FDs between 355 days and 364 days will now get interest at the rate of 6.75 per cent. The interest rate on fixed deposits with a tenure between 355 days and 364 days in the bank has been increased to 6.25 percent. Whereas, interest will be given at the rate of 7% on FDs of one year to one year and six months. FDs with tenure ranging from one year and six months to two years will have an interest rate of 7.25 per cent.

Let us tell you that the Reserve Bank of India i.e. RBI had announced an increase of 25 basis points in the repo rate in its monetary policy meeting on 8 February. After this, SBI had increased the interest rates on select fixed deposits by up to 25 basis points.

J&K Board of School Education (BOSE) on Monday notified the date sheet of the annual examination for the class 11th students in Kashmir and Kargil division. As per the date sheet, the class 11th examination will commence from December 18 and will culminate on January 5 of 2022.
30 Percent Relaxation in Syllabus For 11th Class:
The J&K Board of School Education (BOSE) has announced 30 percent relaxation in syllabus for classes 11th students in their examination in view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic. The students shall have to attempt 70 percent marks from the question paper which shall be treated as 100 percent for result computation.

Srinagar, Feb 17 (KNO): Amid confusion among the teachers of the School Education Department regarding reporting back to their respective institutions after the winter vacations, officials Friday said only teachers of Secondary and Secondary Schools will have to report on February-20.
The official said that as per the instructions, the teaching staff of High and Higher Secondary Schools will have to report back to their respective schools on February-20.
According to the news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the official said, “There is no mention of resumption of duties for primary school teaching staff. So it is clear that they would not have to report on February-20.”
“However, such teaching staff may be ordered to report back to their respective institutions a few days earlier for streamlining the things,” the official said.
Earlier in November-2022, the School Education Department had said, “The Teaching staff of High and Higher Secondary Schools shall report back to their respective schools on February-20-2023, so that they remain available for making arrangements regarding preparation of ensuing examinations.”

”All teachers shall remain available on demand for any online guidance of students during vacation period. Any default on part of the Head of the Schools or Teaching staff in observance of the above schedule shall attract strict action under Rules,” it reads—(KNO)

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released the official IPL 2023 schedule on Friday evening, and the16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is scheduled to start on March 31.

The 10 participating teams in this season will fight for the famous IPL trophy over the course of a 74-match schedule, with the curtain-raiser on March 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium with the defending champion Gujarat Titans taking on the Chennai Super Kings.

The Gujarat Titans, who won the championship last year on their first attempt, will want to retain it in the forthcoming competition. However, they will face a stern test this time around with big dogs Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings looking to make amends for their woeful season after a strong IPL mini-auction.

The league stage, that concludes on May 21, will see 70 games being played including 18 double headers. The tournament returns to its familiar home and away format with all ten teams scheduled to play seven games at their home venue and seven away. 12 venues are set to host the league stage as Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals are scheduled to play two home games each in Dharamshala and Guwahati respectively.

The last time the entire tournament was staged in its traditional home and away format was in 2019. The 2020 edition was completely held in the UAE and the 2021 edition in India had to be abruptly halted as a result of Covid-19 with the second half of the season being held in the UAE again. While the IPL last year was held in India, the tournament was restricted to a limited number of venues with Mumbai and Pune hosting the entire league stage.

According to a government order issued here, that Pending enquiry into the conduct of M.Tarig Ahmad Ashai, Principal, GDC Pattan and Mr. Imtiyaz Gul Khan, Assistant Professor, GDC Pattan are deemed to have been suspended in terms of section 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services Clarification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956 from the date of their arrest i.e. 14-02-2023.
