Why Sania Mirza under fire for endorsing QNet?

Indian Tennis star Sania Miza came under fire for endorsing QNet, a marketing firm after the investors lost their investments in the company.
So far, many cases have been filed by investors in Telangana. Some of the cases are picked up by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
As per media reports, investors have invested in the company seeing its high returns. However, the company has allegedly not paid the returns for the past two months.

Recently, investors protested outside Sania Mirza’s house located in Jubilee Hills.
During the protest, the protestors displayed flexis showing Sania Mirza along with QNet promotors.
After the videos and photos of the protest went viral on social media, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation MD V.C. Sajjanar shared his suggestion on Twitter.
I humbly request all celebrities to refrain from supporting/promoting QNET & all such Multi-Level Marketing companies which destroys the fiscal system of the country & well knitted social fabric of the society. Asking celebrities to stay away from such investments, he wrote, “I humbly request all celebrities to refrain from supporting/promoting QNET & all such Multi-Level Marketing companies which destroys the fiscal system of the country & well knitted social fabric of the society. Very unfortunate that this happened in #Hyderabad today”.

Shoaib Malik gets emotional as Sania Mirza retires, latter reacts

Hyderabad: Since the divorce rumours of Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and Indian tennis star Sania Mirza came to the forefront, they have grabbed the attention of the media fraternity. The couple got married in 2010 and are currently rumoured to be co-parenting their son. But this time, the couple made it to headlines after Sania announced retirement from the grand slam and Shoaib Malik tweeted a message for her.
As it is reported that all is not well between the couple but still Shoaib Malik shared an appreciation post for his wife on Twitter. He wrote, “You are the much-needed hope for all the women in sports. Super proud of you for all you have achieved in your career. You’re an inspiration for many, keep going strong. Many congratulations on an unbelievable career…”

The cricketer shared the same post on his Instagram too which received a ‘like’ from Sania Mirza. However, she did not comment anything under the post adding more fuel to their divorce rumours.
Sania Mirza announced her retirement with teary eyes. She said, “If I cry, these are happy tears. That’s just a disclaimer. I’m still going to play a couple of more tournaments.” She also added, “Rohan was my first-ever mixed-doubles partner at (aged) 14 and we won the nationals.”
She further said, “It was a long time ago, 22 years ago, and I couldn’t think of a better person — he’s one of my best friends and best partners — to finish my career here and to play the final. There’s no better place for me, or person for me, to finish my Grand Slam career.”
Sania Mirza is a six-time Grand Slam champion, three in doubles and three in mixed.
Well, we hope Shoaib Malik’s tweet will bring the couple closer and they may reunite.

Kerala CM hails Sania Mirza a ‘true champion’

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday called tennis icon Sania Mirza a “true champion” and said her achievements in the game will always be remembered.
Vijayan also thanked Mirza for the moments of brilliance on the court and wished her all the best for the next chapter in her life.
The Chief Minister lavished praises on the player as she capped off her glorious Grand Slam career with a runners-up finish alongside Rohan Bopanna in the Australian Open mixed doubles final held at Melbourne today.
“Farewell to a true champion, @MirzaSania. Your achievements in the game will always be remembered. Thank you for the moments of brilliance on the court and all the best for the next chapter of your life,” the Kerala Chief Minister tweeted.
Pairing up with her first-ever mixed doubles partner Bopanna, the unseeded Indian duo — Mirza and Bopanna — went down 6-7(2) 2-6 to the Brazilian pair of Luisa Stefani and Rafael Mataos in the final at the Rod Laver Arena.
The 36-year-old, who earlier announced that the WTA event in Dubai next month will be her swansong, is India’s most accomplished woman tennis player, having won six Grand Slam title, including three mixed doubles trophies.
