Sanya Malhotra buys new house in Gurgaon ahead of release of ‘Kathal’

Mumbai: In a short span of her career, the ‘Dangal’ girl Sanya Malhotra made a niche of her own. The actor is now ready with her new release ‘Kathal’, the trailer of which got released recently.
Ahead of the film’s release, the actress brought a four BHK in Gurgaon, Delhi for herself and her family where she plans to spend time whenever she gets a chance away from her tight schedule. Sanya comes from Delhi and she started the promotion of her upcoming ‘Kathal’ from her hometown. The actor will be seen in the role of police officer for the first time in ‘Kathal’.
In the trailer, we can see a comedy drama revolving around a female police officer (Sanya) and her journey of unfolding the mystery of 2 jackfruits being stolen from the garden of a MLA played by actor Vijay Raaz. The movie also features Rajpal Yadav in the role of a journalist.

Co-writer and director Yashowardhan Mishra commented on the film, “It is such a thrilling experience to be launching the trailer of my first film, Kathal- A Jackfruit Mystery. Through our storytelling clubbed with an ensemble of extremely hardworking and talented actors, we have created a story that will make the audiences laugh while also making sure they go away with a strong thought. Quirky satire comedies are few and far to come by, and we have sketched every character’s graph with extreme sensitivity and thought. I cannot wait for the audiences to watch the film on 19th of May, streaming only on Netflix.”
Adding onto this, Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga Kapoor said, “We at Sikhya always take pride in delivering homegrown stories that are global in their approach. We are excited to give our audiences a family entertainer, Kathal – the jackfruit mystery, this summer! Sanya along with Rajpal, Vijay, Anant and the others will take you on a joyride to uncover the mystery of the stolen kathals, helmed by Yashowardhan Mishra, our debut director. We are so thrilled to be launching the film on Netflix along with Balaji Telefilms, both of whom have supported us in bringing distinctive and relevant content to a global forefront.”
Sanya also has Sam Bahadur, and Mrs in the pipeline. After Pagglait, Kathal marks Sanya’s second collaboration with Guneet Monga.

Mumbai: Sidharth Malhotra is loving everything about being married to Kiara Advani.
Be it an award show or social media, the newly married Sidharth has been seen showering praises on his wife ever since the two tied the knot on February 7.
There’s hardly any moment when Sidharth has not dished out husband goals post his wedding.
Recently, paps spotted Sidharth out and about in Mumbai. While they asked for his solo pictures, it was Sidharth’s witty reply that proves he is a doting hubby.
“Ab main solo nahi raha,” Sidharth joked when paps asked for his “solo” pictures.

Sidharth and Kiara recently appeared together at an awards show in Mumbai. The duo took home trophy for their outstanding performance in their films.
While Kiara was awarded the Star of the Year for her performances in ‘Shershaah’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2′, Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ and ‘Govinda Naam Mera’, Sidharth bagged the Best Actor award for his role in Shershaah.

During her acceptance speech, Kiara thanked the team of her films and also gave a shoutout to her husband Sidharth. Soon after Kiara wrapped up her speech, Sidharth walked on stage and gave Kiara a tight hug. Sidharth also made sure to thank Kiara while accepting his award.
“Saving the best for last. My talented co-actor who was so convincing in her role that I ended up marrying her. And she is right here. I am so happy and proud to call her my wife today – Kiara,” Sidharth said.
Sidharth and Kiara fell in love with each other during the shoot of Shershaah and finally, they sealed their relationship by exchanging vows at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer on February 7.

Mumbai: Newlyweds Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have more wedding pictures in store to keep their fans engaged in the festivities. On Tuesday late at night, Kiara dropped some stunning photos from one of their pre-wedding festivities. They hosted a reception in Delhi for their close friends and later in Mumbai on February 12. Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Kajol, Gauri Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and other celebs attended the grand reception.
For the wedding, Kiara wore a pink lehenga, which is designed by Manish Malhotra.
The lehenga features intricate embroidery detailing of roman architecture, inspired by the special love the newlyweds share for the city of domes. Real Swarovski crystals are embellished to embrace our signature sparkle.
The new bride chose diamond Jewellery by Manish Malhotra for her big day. The neckpiece features an exquisite composition of ultra-fine hand-cut diamonds crafted with rare Zambian emeralds. She was seen wearing a diamond ring, prompting speculations that it is her wedding ring.

On the other hand, Sidharth opted for an ivory sherwani with an exquisite royal lustre. The sherwani features classic signatures, hints of ivory threadwork, gold zardozi and badla work, handcrafted with utmost finesse. He completed his look with Polki Jewellery studded with extremely fine uncut diamonds for the perfect regal look.

New Delhi: As Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani finally got hitched in a royal wedding in Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace, several glimpses from their grand marriage ceremony made their way on social media and be it their outfits or the jewellery, the newlywed couple stood out in every aspect.
