According to a government order, the placement / assignment of temporary charge of I/c Executive Engineer in favour of following officers:-
The above arrangement is purely to meet administrative exigencies, without conferring any preferential right upon the officer(s) to claim promotion on substantive basis which will shall be undertaken following the due process. Further, it shall be subject to superior genuine claim of any left out officer or legal proceedings in the court of law.
Consequent upon the above, in the interest of administration, following postings are ordered with immediate effect:-
The officers figuring at S.No. 1, 3 & 4 above shall join their new place of posting without availing any joining time. By Order of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.

Whereas, after issuance of said seniority list, several changes have occurred account of fresh appointment(s), retirement(s) etc. during the year 2020 to 2022 and names of such officials need to be included/excluded in the seniority list of Draftsman (Civil), Divisional Cadre, Kashmir;
Now therefore, the tentative seniority list of Draftsman (Civil), Jal Shakti Department of Divisional Cadre, Kashmir as it stood on 01.01.2023 as per Annexure “A” is hereby circulated amongst all the Draftsmen of Head of the Departments, Divisional Cadre of Kashmir for inviting objections, if any, to the seniority position assigned to them, category status and date of birth entries recorded in the relevant columns in the seniority list, within a period of 21 days from the date of issuance of this Notice. After expiry of the prescribed period no objection in this regard shall be entertained.
The date(s) of birth and category status of the officials recorded in the seniority list shall not be taken as authentic and shall be subject to further verification with the service book/matriculation certificate issued in respect of\these officials by the concerned Authorities.
JAMMU: Chief Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL, Jammu has informed that the power supply to Bari Brahmana, Industrial Area, Vijaypur, Bishnah, Jakh, Birpur Complex, and adjoining areas shall remain affected on February 19 from 8 am to 2 pm.
Similarly, the power supply to Kathua City, CTM, Industry Feeder, Hatli Morh, Nagri and adjoining areas shall remain affected on February 19 from 9 am to 12 noon.
Likewise, the power supply to Kalu Chak, BB Town, PHE, Industrial Area Birpur Complex, Bari-Brahmana and adjoining areas shall remain affected on February 19 from 10 am to 5 pm.
Similarly, the power supply to Raghunath Bazar, Residency Road, Wazarat Road, Kanak Mandi, Rajinder Bazar and adjoining areas shall remain affected on February 19 from 9 am to 2 pm.
Likewise, the power supply to Yatri Niwas, Bhawani Nagar, Gole Gujral, Talab Tillo, Trilokpur, Panjpeer, NITCO Lane and adjoining areas shall remain affected on February 20 from 9 am to 3 pm.
Similarly, the power supply to GhoManhasa, Marh, Gajansoo and adjoining areas shall remain affected on February 20 from 9 am to 3 pm.
JKSSRB Approves List Of Selected Candidates For 2,300 Govt Posts
The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection and Recruitment Board (SSRB) has finalised a list of over 2,300 successful candidates for Government posts, which will reduce the staff shortage in various departments including health department, an official said on Friday.
“We have finalised the list of 1,534 candidates for junior assistant posts referred to us by various departments. A notification to this effect will be issued shortly,” Chairman of the SSRB Rajesh Sharma said.
In addition to this, the board has also finalised the list of selected candidates for the posts of junior staff nurse (582) and ANM/health worker (202), said Sharma. He said these lists were approved in the 220th board meeting held on Thursday.
The chairman said there was some delay in finalising the list as some of the candidates had gone to the court.
“The court orders on the petitions came recently and we have expedited the process since then,” he said.
On the upcoming recruitments in Jammu and Kashmir, he said, the board will hold examinations for 1,390 posts of Junior engineers in various departments, 1,972 posts finance accounts assistants and 1,395 posts of panchayat secretaries in the months of March and April this year.
Sharma said the board was working on forming a calendar of activities for the recruitment of Government jobs.
“We are working on framing a calendar of examinations for six to eight months right now. The annual calendar will help in time-bound and expeditious recruitment process,” he added.
