Filmmakers think they can get away with any level of cinematic liberty. This cannot be permitted.”

Apart from priests and politicians, netizens too slammed the makers of the movie. One of the Twitter user wrote, ” They have turned the chapter of Ramayana upside down and shown the form of Hanuman and Ram in such a bad way..#BoycottAdipurush.” ”Hanuman ji ‘s looks in  Adipurush looks more like designed by Abdul. intentionally make bad movies related to our dharma so that they fail at the box office, another user tweeted.

  • TSPSC paper leak case becoming more complex

TSPSC paper leak case becoming more complex

    [ad_1]

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) exam paper leak case is turning out to be more complex than initially thought as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the state police has found its links far and wide.

The SIT has arrested six more persons, taking the total number to 27.

The team nabbed two brokers and four candidates who appeared in the Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) and Assistant Engineer (AE) exams.

    MS Education Academy

The candidates had allegedly purchased exam papers of AEE and AE for Rs 10 lakhs each from prime accused Praveen Kumar through two middlemen.

They had paid an advance of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakhs and promised to pay the remaining amount after exam results were declared.

The SIT arrested Aadi Saibab and Mudavat Shivakumar of Nagarkurnool, Ramavat Mahesh of Nagarjuna Sagar and Ponnam Varun of Khammam district.

The search is on for three other candidates who had purchased the question papers.

Muralidhar Reddy of Hyderabad and Manoj Kumar of Warangal have also been arrested who were selling AE and AEE question papers on behalf of Praveen Kumar.

The latest arrests were made after SIT sifted through Praveen’s social media accounts. He was reportedly proving to be a hard nut to crack and the investigators stumbled upon the leak of AEE question paper after a study of his social media accounts.

The SIT identified the candidates after TSPSC authorities evaluated the answer sheets of the exams which were already cancelled on suspicion of paper leak. The authorities zeroed in on candidates who scored abnormally high marks.

During the last two months, SIT had found leak of question papers of Assistant Engineer (Civil), Divisional Accounts Officer (DAO) and Group-1 Prelims.

Last week, the SIT had arrested Bhagwant, who works in the office of Vikarabad Mandal Parishad Development Officer (MPDO) and his brother Ravi Kumar.

Officials found during the investigation that Bhagwant purchased a question paper of Assistant Engineer (AE) exam from one of the accused Dhakya Nayak for his brother Ravi Kumar.

Dhakya is husband of Renuka, a teacher who had obtained question papers from prime accused Praveen Kumar, an employee in TSPSC.

She had purchased the question paper for her brother Rajeshwar Nayak, who had appeared in the AE exam. She along with Dhakya had sold question papers to others.

The TSPSC scam came to light on March 13 following a complaint by a youth. The police initially arrested nine accused including Praveen Kumar, who worked as an assistant section officer at TSPSC and Rajashekar Reddy, a network admin at TSPSC. They had allegedly stolen question papers of some exams from a computer in a confidential section of the Commission and sold it to other accused.

Subsequently, the SIT arrested 15 accused from Mahabubnagar district alone. The investigators later found that the case has links with Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Nagarkurnool, Khammam and Nalgonda districts.

The exam paper leak case created a sensation in Telangana as opposition parties Congress and BJP blamed the BRS government for the leak that affected lakhs of unemployed in the state. The opposition is also demanding a probe by a sitting judge of the High Court or by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The SIT has also examined TSPS chairman Janardhan Reddy, secretary Anita Ramchandran and member B. Linga Reddy.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is also probing money laundering charges in the case.

The SIT has reportedly identified financial transactions to the tune of Rs 33.4 lakhs in the case.

  • Hyderabad: 25 children rescued, 10 traffickers detained by RPF

Hyderabad: 25 children rescued, 10 traffickers detained by RPF

    [ad_1]

Hyderabad: Cracking down against human traffickers at railway stations, Secundrabad’s Railway Protection Force (RPF) rescued 25 children who were being trafficked from West Bengal and Odisha and detained 10 traffickers.

The children who were in the age group of 12 to 17 years were meant to be employed in small-scale industries in the city.

As part of Operation Action Against Human Trafficking (AAHT), RPF-Secunderabad personnel in collaboration with an NGO, Bachpan Bachao Andolan rescued the children who were traveling by the East Coast Express.

    MS Education Academy

“The RPF escorted the train and conducted searches between Vijayawada and Warangal stations and rescued the children,” said Debashmita C. Banerjee, senior divisional security commissioner, Secunderabad.

Rescued children, who belonged to different states, have been provided shelter in a children’s home in Hanamkonda while the BBA team will follow up with the CWC and DCPU Warangal for further rehabilitation of the rescued children.

This operation is part of the drive by the BBA and the RPF to make the nation child trafficking free.

In May 2022, the BBA and the RPF signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a common goal.

Both RPF and BBA pledged to work together to share information, build the capacity of RPF personnel and railway employees to work against human trafficking, increase sensitization and create awareness and also help each other in the identification and detection of such cases.

Considering how often the traffickers use the well-networked Indian Railways as the cheapest, fastest, and most reliable carrier to traffic thousands of vulnerable women and children every year, this drive has been fetching great results.

Talking about the dark world of child trafficking and child labor that continues to mar society and the various issues that crop up while dealing with child traffickers, the director of Bachpan Bachao Andolan, Manish Sharma said, “In spite of having very strong laws to protect children from all kinds of exploitation and child labor, people continue to employ underage children in commercial activities and exploit them.”

“These are serious crimes and the Union government must enact the Anti-Trafficking Bill at the earliest to curb the problem,” he added.

Telangana: Junior colleges to be fined for misleading ads

    [ad_1]

Hyderabad: In order to rule out misleading ads posted by junior colleges to hike up their admission drive, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) has decided to impose penalties against those who do so.

In addition, those advertisements featuring slogans like ‘guaranteeing success in competitive exams’, including EAMCET, NEET, and IIT- JEE will also be banned.

Speaking to the media at TSBIE office on Tuesday, BIE secretary Navin Mittal informed that the penalties would be in tune with the advertisement cost issued by the management.

    MS Education Academy

“Not just penalties, but the colleges would be made to issue counter advertisements if a misleading advertisement was previously issued,” said Mittal.

Clearing the air that the board was not against the advertisement idea by the institutions, Mittal said that curbing false or misleading ads was essential so that the students and parents don’t get lured into false traps.

Stating that the student rank category should be mentioned in any ad that is published after getting approved, Mittal said, “If a student secures a rank, the educational institutions having the same name should issue advertisements duly specifying the college code but not randomly.”

The secretary of the board also warned that no advertisement should be carried out through hoarding, pamphlets, or wall writings without the approval of the committee formed to scrutinize the advertisements by colleges.

“No college should release advertisements about intermediate courses until the admission schedule was announced by the Board,” asserted Mittal.
