Mumbai: Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai’s tumultuous relationship is still a topic of interest among many Bollywood fans, even though the two parted ways on a sour note. The actors began dating in the late 1990s but their relationship ended in the early 2000s after Aishwarya accused Salman of physical abuse. Over the years, both Salman and Aishwarya have been asked about the break-up and recently, an old video has resurfaced where Salman can be seen reacting to Aishwarya’s allegations.
In the video, the interviewer asked Salman Khan whether he had hit Aishwarya physically or not? Bhaijaan replied that Aishwarya’s ‘abuse claims’ are false. He is seen saying in the video, ‘If I hit her, she wouldn’t survive.’
He can be seen saying in the interview, “Now, the woman has said that I have, what to say.” When the reporter asked Salman if he did not want to get into that, the actor responded, “A journalist, who asked me this a long time ago and I just banged the table and he got startled if the table really broke.”

“I said, ‘Now if I hit somebody, it’s obviously going to be a fight. I’m going to be angry. Forget whack, I’m going to give her my best shot. I don’t think she’ll survive it. So no, it’s not true and I don’t know for what reason that was said,” the clip quotes Salman as saying.
The duo started dating each other during their 1998 film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The relationship between the two ended in 2002.
After the break-up, Aishwarya poured her heart out. She told the Bombay Times at that time, “I stood by him enduring his alcoholic misbehaviour in its worst phases, and in turn, I was at the receiving end of his abuse (verbal, physical, and emotional), infidelity, and indignity. That is why like any other self-respecting woman, I ended my relationship with him.”

Revenge of nature is brutal: Azam Khan attacks UP govt

Rampur: Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan on Monday launched a scathing attack on the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh and said they should understand that “if good people did not survive, then how will the bad people survive”, asserting that the “revenge of nature is brutal”.
Addressing a public meeting in support of party candidates of Rampur Nagarpalika Parishad in Nalapar area here, the former Rampur MLA also targeted the state police and said, “The next time (in 2027), the Samajwadi Party government is going to come… The policemen who had broken the doors of your house, they will stand here and salute you with this boot.”
Khan also said that nobody knows when the roti will turn on the griddle. “See these officials are with those, who are in the government. They now know that the leaders can do high-handedness till this limit. The future government will be doing more than this…(you) must have understood what I mean. See, a line has been drawn, and when the government changes a longer line will be drawn,” he said.

When the SP leader asked the crowd that who will draw the longer line, the public shouted, “Azam Khan”.
“Those who think they will always remain in power, they should understand that if good people did not survive, then how will the bad people survive? We have seen the era of Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Sanjay Gandhi, and everyone knows what happened to them… Not a single piece of Rajiv Gandhi’s body was found,” the SP leader said.
“The revenge of nature is brutal,” he added.
Recalling a helicopter accident in which he was involved, Khan said, “When Allah is ‘meharbaan’ (benevolent) on someone, he survives even after a wing of the helicopter gets broken at a great height.”
The SP leader, who faces nearly 90 cases including that of corruption and theft, was disqualified as an MLA in October last year after the Rampur MP-MLA court convicted him in a 2019 hate speech case and sentenced him to three years of imprisonment.

He had won from the Rampur Sadar Assembly seat in the UP Assembly polls for a record 10th time.

“Country is in safe hands”: Kangana Ranaut reacts to Salman Khan receiving death threat

Haridwar: Actor Kangana Ranaut on Sunday reacted to Salman Khan receiving death threats, saying that the country is in the safe hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah and therefore there is nothing to fear about security.
She said, “We are actors. Salman Khan has been provided with security by the Centre. He is getting protection from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, then there is nothing to fear.”
“When I was threatened, I was also given security by the government, today the country is in safe hands. We have nothing to worry about,” she added.

Ranaut visited Haridwar on Sunday and performed Ganga Aarti. She would also be visiting Kedarnath Dham after this.
The actor said, “I always wanted to visit Kedarnath Dham and finally that is happening.”
Salman Khan has been provided with Y+ category security by the Mumbai Police amid the death threat.
On Saturday, Salman shared his experience and how he is dealing with it at India TV’s show ‘Aap ki Adalat’ that, “Security is better than insecurity. Yes security is there. Now it is not possible to ride a bicycle on the road and go alone anywhere. And more than that, now I have this problem that when I am in traffic, then there is so much security, vehicles creating inconvenience to other people. They also give me a look. And my poor fans. There is a serious threat that’s why there is security.”
He added, “I am doing whatever I have been told. There is a dialogue ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ ‘they have to be lucky 100 times, I have to be lucky once’. So, I got to be very careful.”

Salman continued, “I am going everywhere with full security. I know whatever is going to happen will happen no matter what you do. I believe that (points towards god) that he is there. It is not that I will start roaming freely, it is not like that. Now there are so many Shera’s around me, so many guns are going around with me that I am myself scared these days.”
Following the death threat, few days ago, a minor was arrested by Mumbai Police for allegedly threatening to kill Salman.
Mumbai Police said that a threat call was made to the Mumbai Police control room on April 10. The caller, who identified himself as Rockey Bhai from Jodhpur in Rajasthan, said he was a Gau Rakshak (cow-vigilante). The caller threatened to “eliminate” Salman Khan on April 30.
Mumbai Police added revealed the caller was found to be a minor. “As of now, we don’t think the call should be taken seriously. But we are probing why the minor behaved in such a way,” an officer said.
On March 26, one person identified as Dhakad Ram, a resident of Luni in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur district, was arrested for sending a threat mail to Salman. He was apprehended and taken into custody.
A case was registered at Bandra police station. The accused, in his mail, alleged that the superstar will meet the same fate as “Sidhu Moosewala.”
“A case has registered at Bandra police station with regard to emailed threats to kill Salman Khan. In a joint operation, Mumbai Police and Luni police teams caught the accused, Dhakad Ram, a resident of Luni in Jodhpur district,” Ishwar Chand Pareek, an officer at Luni police station of Jodhpur told ANI earlier.
Khan has been provided with Y+ category security by the Mumbai police after assessing threat perceptions. The Maharashtra government assigned security escorts to the superstar after the actor received a threat letter from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Mumbai: Salman Khan, who has been receiving death threats and is on the target list of gangsters, finally shared his experience and how he is dealing with it.
The ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ actor has been provided with Y+ category security by the Mumbai Police amid the death threat.
Salman shared the experience at India TV’s show ‘Aap ki Adalat’ that, “Security is better than insecurity. Yes security is there. SRINAGAR: Shah Rukh Khan, the famous actor, caused a stir among his fans when he arrived at Srinagar airport, and a video capturing the incident has surfaced on Twitter.

In a surprise turn of events, it is being said that Bhansali’s ‘Inshallah’ is very much on but with a new lead actor.
According to recent reports, ‘Inshallah’ is back on track, and this time it may star the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. The news went viral among SRK fans, with many taking to social media to express their joy at the possibility of seeing their favourite actor in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.
According to sources, Bhansali was able to convince Shah Rukh Khan to join the project. While neither the director nor the actor has confirmed anything, SRK fans are already anticipating a blockbuster collaboration between the two. If the rumours are true, ‘Inshallah’ will be Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shah Rukh Khan’s second collaboration.
