Mumbai: As many have raised voices against nepotism in the Bollywood industry, it is not necessary that only those persons succeed in the industry who have solid contacts. Various persons with no links in Bollywood outshined star kids with their hard work and talent. As we know that industry is ruled by Khans and Kapoors, and few with these two surnames have failed miserably to attract an audience on the big screen.
Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan were once considered the future of the Bollywood industry as both are talented, good looking and hardworking but one of them quit showbiz while another became a superstar. It is also believed that Imran’s future was destroyed by his then-only competitor Ranbir Kapoor but the exact reason is not known why he left the industry. Few also claim that Imran and Ranbir are still good friends and that Imran left the industry due to other reasons.
And now, we got our hands on one old video, where Imran is seen terming Ranbir Kapoor as ‘ Snake’. A clip from the promotions of the former’s hit move ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ has resurfaced again and Imran Khan can be seen talking about his equation with Ranbir Kapoor. When asked about the tussle between Ranbir and Imran on the ‘prince of Bollywood’ title at that time, Imran said, “Actually, he messaged me half an hour ago with an idea to escalate the whole war between the two of us, his idea was that we start bad mouthing each other. He is a snake man…that guy cannot be trusted”.

Imran Khan made his debut in direction recently. He directed Mission Mars: Keep Walking India and it was critically acclaimed. He even garnered applause from his fans for his direction.
Ranbir and Imran were on the rise during the late 2000s but after Imran Khan started delivering a string of flops he decided to quit acting in 2015. He was last seen in the film Katti Batti.

After quitting acting, Imran Khan makes rare appearance with gf

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Imran Khan who was not seen on the big screen for years made a rare public appearance in Mumbai with his rumoured girlfriend Lekha Washington. The duo were spotted holding hands recently in the city. It is reported that Imran fell in love with South actress Lekha Washington in 2013. The two worked together in the film Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola.

It is rumoured that Imran Khan and his wife Avantika Malik live separately since 2019. The couple is co-parenting a baby girl Imara Malik Khan. The couple dated for eight years and tied the knot in 2011. Imran, who is Aamir Khan’s nephew, appeared in several Bollywood films.

Imran;’s girlfriend Lekha’s ex-husband Pablo Chatterji and Imran were close friends but it is rumoured that all is not well between them as Imran and Lekha are dating each other now. Imran and his wife Avantika Malik have been separated because of the former’s alleged affair with Lekha.

Imran made his acting debut with the 2008 film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and was last seen in the 2015 movie Katti Batti. Imran’s other movies include Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Delhi Belly and I Hate Love Storys while Lekha predominantly appears in Tamil and Telugu films.

Sana Khan set to welcome her first child? See her Instagram post

Mumbai: Former actress Sana Khan and her husband, Mufti Anas are rumored to be expecting their first child together. The couple, who got married in a private ceremony in October 2020, has set the rumor mill buzzing with their latest Instagram post.

Taking to their social media on Sunday, Sana and Anas shared two pictures from her ‘special Umrah’ trip. They wrote, ‘This umrah is very very special for some reason which In Sha Allah I will share soon with all.’

Soon after they shared the post, fans started speculating that they are set to embrace parenthood. Many have also praised the couple for their devotion to their religion and for choosing to take the pilgrimage together.

One social media user wrote, ‘May Allah bless you with a healthy child’. Another said, ‘You’re gonna be a mother???’

A third user commented, ‘I think you both are going to be parents soon.’

Mumbai: Actor Sharman Joshi recently dropped a video on his social media in which he could be seen reuniting with his ‘3 Idiots’ co-actors Aamir Khan and R Madhavan after 14 years.

Taking to Instagram, Sharman shared a video which he captioned, “3 idiots are promoting “congratulations” film which is releasing today.”

In the video, the three actors could be seen on a cricket pitch and dressed in matching red uniforms. Sharman tried to speak about his Gujarati film ‘Congratulations’ and gets interrupted by Madhavan who comes up to him and asks about his film.

After that, he again tried to speak about his film and gets interrupted by Aamir Khan, and later both the actors get confused about the film’s title and instead think that Sharman is congratulating them.

Soon after the ‘Golmaal’ actor shared the video, fans flooded the comment section with red hearts and fire emotions.
“Sir isska aik part aur banna chahie,” a fan commented.

Another fan wrote, “So good to see you guys together after so long.”

Helmed by Rehan Chaudhary ‘Congratulations’ is a Gujarati drama film which also stars Manasi Parekh Gohil, Jayesh Barbahya, Ami Bhayani, Archan Trivedi, Swati Dave and others.

The film was released on February 3, 2023, and received decent responses from the audience.

Talking about ‘3 Idiots’, the film was directed by Rajkumar Hirani and was released in the year 2009.

The film starred Aamir, R Madhavan, Sharman, Boman Irani and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles and was declared a blockbuster hit.

Dr Salim Khan Of GMC Srinagar Conferred IAPSM Fellow

SRINAGAR: Dr S Muhammad Salim Khan, professor and head, Department of Community Medicine (SPM), Government Medical College Srinagar has been conferred as a fellow of Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM) at ICMR-National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad.

He was felicitated during golden jubilee annual national conference of IAPSM organised by Department of Community and Family Medicine, AIIMS, Bibinagar, Hyderabad. The fellowship was conferred during the inaugural function by the chief guest, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry to Dr. Muhammad Salim Khan to signify the recognition of his outstanding contribution in advancement of preventive and social medicine.

Dr Khan is also a fellow of the Indian Public Health Association (IPHA), Indian Medical Association – Academy of Medical Specialties (IMA-AMS), fellow of the ‘foundation for advancement of international medical education and research’ (FAIMER). He’s a member of over two dozen national and international professional associations and societies, and also a member of various committees constituted by the government.

During the IAPSMCON Hyderabad, Dr. Salim who was also the member of the national organising committee, chaired the inaugural plenary session on neglected tropical diseases. He was also declared elected as a member of the national governing council of IAPSM representing the north zone during 2023-24.

During the valedictory of IAPSMCON 2023, the delegation team of GMC Srinagar was felicitated with a special award for highest number of delegates from any institution in the country. The fifteen delegates from GMC Srinagar presented their research work through oral and poster presentations. During the general body meeting of the IAPSM conference, GMC Srinagar was selected to hold the annual national conference of IAPSM in 2025.

Imran Khan asks supporters to prepare for ‘Jail Bharo’ movement in Pakistan

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday asked his workers and supporters to prepare for ‘Jail Bharo’ movement across the country, media reported.

Khan’s comments come in the wake of sedition cases filed against his party’s Senior Vice-President Fawad Chaudhry and former member of the National Assembly Shandana Gulzar, while Senator Azam Swati and Shahbaz Gill were booked earlier for speaking against the military.

During his televised address, the deposed Prime Minister said his party could have opted for a nationwide strike, but will choose to fill the prisons instead in light of the fears that the country’s economy might deteriorate further, Geo News reported.

“We have two options: Considering what they have been doing, we could have gone for a wheel-jam strike and demonstrations – which is also a way and a democratic one.”

“But since the state of economy is so bad, it’ll worsen. Therefore, I ask all my workers, the Pakistani nation and everyone to prepare for Jail Bharo movement,” Khan said, Geo News reported.

The former premier, while addressing the youth and nation, added that his party won’t stay quiet on the violence being inflicted on his party’s members. “Instead of causing destruction, we would now prepare Jail Bharo movement.”

“It was their plan to weaken Tehreek-e-Insaf by frightening and threatening,” the PTI chief said.

Khan claimed his party never committed such atrocities in its tenure as the Pakistan Democratic Movement-led government in the centre has.

“Fawad Chaudhry was picked up from home at 3 a.m. What did Shandana Gulzar do that made her a terrorist. As the court gives bail to Sheikh Rashid, more cases are being filed against him,” the PTI chairman said, insisting how action has been taken against every person who called out the regime change, Geo News reported.

“Inshallah,” Shah Rukh Khan confirms Pathaan 2

Mumbai: As Pathaan is running successfully at the box office, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham along with director Siddharth Anand came together to celebrate the success of the movie. This was team Pathaan’s first public appearance together as no one from the team promoted the film at public events or on TV shows.

The internet is flooded with photos and videos from the event and SRK, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone and Siddharth Anand are seen interacting with media personnel. They praised all Pathaan team members.

Director Siddharth Anand also dropped a major hint about the film’s 2nd instalment after fans demanded the sequel of the movie during the event. He said “Pathaan aayi hai, hit hui hai. Uske baad kya banayege?” to which fans screamed “Pathaan 2.” After fans demanded ‘Pathaan 2’ , Siddharth just said “Insha allah. (If God wills)”.

Shah Rukh Khan also said , “This is a big day for us, my family. We haven’t experienced this happiness in a while. I am very happy with the opportunity given to me and to my co-actors and my friends. Insha Allah! Whenever he wants me to do Pathaan 2, I’ll try and be bigger, and better and will grow hair long. If they want to make a sequel, it’ll be my honour to do it.”

Talking about how Siddharth and SRK finalised the script, the director said, “It was on my wish list to make a film with SRK and I finally got the gift to make a Shah Rukh Khan-starrer”.

Pathaan has earned 271 crores in India while collecting 542 crores worldwide. The movie broke many records and fans are demanding a sequel as the movie is still running in theatres. It seems that SRK’s craze in India is rising day by day.

BBC adds Salman Khan Cameo in its Modi Documentary to reach more people

The Supreme Court said that it will list for hearing on February 6 a PIL challenging the “ban” on the BBC documentary ‘India: The Modi Question’. Earlier, the government had banned the documentary.

Like SRK, BBC has been struggling to get audience for its documentary and after failing to make it a controversy ahead of 2024 general election, BBC too has decided to add Salaman Khan’s cameo in its documentary to make it reach wider audience.

However, Salman Khan’s role in the documentary isn’t finalised yet but his picture with Modi flying kite is likely to be added in the documentary, reported Fauxy reporter in Godhara.

Since the release of Pathaan which had only Salman Khan’s cameo as worth watching, Salman Khan has been keeping extremely busy.

If sources are to be believed, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has requested Salman Khan to do a cameo during her Budget speech.
