SRK turns chef for model Navpreet Kaur, bakes pizza for her at Mannat

Mumbai: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is a great cook. After treating his ‘Pathaan’ team to delicious hand-made pizzas during the film’s shoot, the King Khan hosted model Navpreet Kaur at his home Mannat recently and unleashed his Italian chef avatar for her.
On Sunday, Navpreet took to Instagram and recalled her meeting with the actor and his family. In a lengthy post, Navpreet revisited all that happened inside SRK’s home during her meeting and how SRK left her in awe by baking a pizza himself.
“I promised myself I’ll never post it, but this memory is too precious to just keep it to myself. Cheers to this oh so blessed day of my life at #Mannat. The king @iamsrk himself baked a pizza, and that too veg because ‘kuch punjabi veg bhi hote hain’. All the while I was at his house, I thought I was dreaming and someone was soon going to wake me up. I kept my calm and composure because I didn’t want to freak out infront of him,” she wrote.

She added, “When the excitement of sitting at the dining table with him, his family and Pooja was bubbling up, I excused myself and asked for the way to the washroom. He got up from his chair and like an unbelievably warm host, escorted me to the washroom door. At this point my heart wanted to scream out of excitement, so I looked at mirror in the room, and I found myself silently screaming out loud, over this unbelievable incident. The dinner was served and I was full with one slice. My stomach was busy digesting my excitement.”
Navpreet also heaped praise on Gauri Khan, Aryan, Suhana, AbRam and SRK’s manager Pooja.
“Gauri is a darling. Abram is my new best friend, although he might not remember me in a couple of days. Aryan is such a warm, sweetheart, against his angry-young-man looks. Suhana was busy slaying. Pooja is her iconic self, and I’m still refusing to believe that it wasn’t a dream. After we said goodbyes, his highness escorted me all the way down, where my cab was waiting and my cab driver didn’t waste the opportunity of taking a selfie,” she concluded.
Along with the post, Navpreet shared a selfie with SRK and an autograph with his youngest son AbRam.

Indian mountaineer Baljeet Kaur rescued from Mt. Annapurna in Nepal

Kathmandu: Baljeet Kaur, a 27-year-old prominent Indian woman climber was rescued on Tuesday, a day after she went missing near Camp IV of Mt Annapurna while descending from the summit point, an official of the expedition organiser said.
Kaur, who scaled the world’s 10th highest peak without using supplemental oxygen on Monday, was rescued from 7,363m after an aerial search team located her above Camp IV, Chairman at Pioneer Adventure Pasang Sherpa, was quoted as saying by the Himalayan Times newspaper.
“She has suffered from frostbite and is now being rushed to CIWEC Hospital from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu,” Sherpa said.

Kaur was seen descending alone towards Camp IV by the aerial search team, according to Sherpa.
The leading Indian woman climber, who was left alone below the summit point, remained out of radio contact till this morning, the report added.
An aerial search mission was initiated on Tuesday morning only after she managed to send a radio signal asking for ‘immediate help’.

According to Sherpa, her GPS location has indicated an altitude of 7,375m (24,193ft). She climbed Mt Annapurna along with two Sherpa guides at around 5:15 pm on Monday. At least three helicopters were mobilised to trace her.
In May last year, Kaur, from Himachal Pradesh, scaled Mt Lhotse and became the first Indian climber to have climbed four 8000-meter peaks in a single season.

On Monday, Anurag Malu, a resident of Kishangarh in Rajasthan, went missing while descending from Camp III of Mt. Annapurna.
A team of five Sherpa climbers has been conducting a ground search for Malu, the report said.
According to Mingma Sherpa, chairman at Seven Summit Treks, Noel Hanna, the first person from Ireland to reach the summit of K2 during the winter season, died at Camp IV last night. Hanna’s body was also brought back to Kathmandu on Tuesday, the report said.
Indian climber Arjun Vajpai was also evacuated from Camp IV along with Pakistani climbers Shehroze Kashif and Naila Kiani after they fell ill while descending from the summit point, Seven Summit Treks’ Expedition Director, Chhang Dawa Sherpa, was quoted as saying in the report.
Annapurna is the tenth-highest mountain in the world, standing at 8,091 metres above sea level.
It is well known for the difficulty and danger involved in its ascent.

Mumbai: Television actor Dalljiet Kaur tied the knot with her fiancee Nikhil Patel on Saturday. The first picture of the newlyweds is shared by the bride’s close mates Karishma Tanna and Ridhi Dogra.
For the D-day celebrations, Dalljiet chose a light-coloured lehenga. She added vibrancy to the bridal look by selecting a red dupatta. Nikhil wore colour-coordinated sherwani. The married couple were all smiles for the shutterbugs.
Sharing a glimpse of her look, Karishma Tanna dropped pictures on her Instagram story. She wore an orange-coloured lehenga.
She completed her look with stone-studded pearl jewellery while her husband Varun Bangera looked suave in a suit. Ridhi Dogra also opted for a pastel-coloured lehenga.
Earlier, Dalljiet shared a bunch of pictures from her mehendi, haldi and sangeet festivities.
In February 2023, Dalljiet made her relationship with Nikhil Instagram official.
“The stars aligned and fate played a part in bringing our hearts and souls together. Our journey to forever starts now. A new life, a new country (Kenya in Africa), a new beginning. Together. Maktub – It is written #DalNikTake2,” she wrote.
Dalljiet will be shifting base to Nairobi, Kenya after her wedding with her son Jaydon. Jaydon was born to Dalljiet and actor Shalin Bhanot in 2014.

Shalin and Dalljiet met while they were working together on the TV show ‘Kulvaddhu’ in 2006. They got married in 2009 and became parents to Jaydon in 2014.
However, in 2015, Dalljiet filed for divorce after accusing Shalin of domestic violence. If reports are to be believed, Dalljiet’s fiance Nikhil has two daughters, thirteen-year-old Aariyana and eight-year-old Aanika from his previous marriage. Dalljiet met Nikhil at a party in Dubai and the duo got engaged in January in Nepal.
