Boney Kapoor announces biography on late wife, legendary actress Sridevi

Mumbai: Filmmaker Boney Kapoor on Thursday announced the biography of his late wife and legendary actress Sridevi titled ‘The Life of a Legend’.
He took to social media to make the announcement.
Boney said: “Sridevi was a force of nature. She was the happiest when she shared her art on screen with her fans but she was also a fiercely private person.”
The book is penned by Dhiraj Kumar who the actress considered family.
“Dhiraj Kumar is who she considered family. He was a researcher, writer & columnist. We are happy that he is writing the book that befits her extraordinary life.”
The book draws a complete portrait of Sridevi, the quintessential superstar who has an unmatched career in Indian cinema. She worked in over 300 films across 50 years in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
She was conferred the Padma Shri, won National Film Awards, State Government Awards and International Awards.

Kareena Kapoor drops adorable picture to wish Karan Johar’s twins on their birthday

Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor Khan dropped an adorable picture to wish filmmaker Karan Johar’s twins Roohi and Yash on their birthday.
Taking to Instagram Story, Kareena shared a picture featuring Taimur Ali Khan hugging Yash.
Sharing the picture, she wrote, “Birthday mood is.”
Extending the birthday wishes to Karan’s twins, actor Neha Dhupia dropped a picture with her husband Angad Bedi, Yash and Roohi.
Along with a picture, she wrote, ” Happy birthday yashoo and roohhii … we love you … may your hearts always be filled with love in abundance. celebrating you and our cuties everyday.”
She also shared a video from the birthday celebration which took place earlier.
Sharing the video, Neha wrote, “Yes we had a fan moment here too!! Thank you for celebrating these cuties and ofcourse the endless air kisses.”
Earlier in the day, Karan shared a video which he captioned, “Precious Pieces of my heart turn 6 today… this love is difficult to describe but it feels like a burst of so much love that every other emotion takes a back seat! I am blessed to have mother with me on this parental journey! God knows I would be nowhere without her… she’s the pillar all 3 of us lean on! Happy birthday Roohi and Yash! Be anything you want to be but please Always be kind… dada loves you to the moon and back! I would like to take a beat to thank.”

In the video, Karan shared some glimpses from Roohi and Yash’s recent birthday bash.
On February 1 this year, Karan hosted a birthday party for his twins, Roohi and Yash, in Mumbai. In which many B-town celebs marked their presence. From Kareena Kapoor Khan to Shahid Kapoor and Mira Kapoor, celebs attended the bash with their little ones.
Karan welcomed his son Yash and daughter Roohi via surrogacy in February 2017. He named Yash after his deceased father late Yash Johar, while Roohi is an anagram of his mother’s name Hiroo.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena will be next seen in director Sujoy Ghosh’s thriller which is based on the book ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’. It also stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. Apart from that, she also has director Hansal Mehta’s next untitled film.

Shraddha Kapoor tells Alia Bhatt to expose Ranbir Kapoor’s “(real) fake id”

Mumbai: Bollywood actors Shraddha Kapoor and Alia Bhatt engaged in a fun banter on Saturday after the ‘Raazi’ actor dropped a video on social media in which she is seen doing cardio while listening to the song ‘Tere Pyaar Mein’ from the film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’.
“Filhaal hum toh sirf Cardio ke pyaar mein bheege bheege bheege @shraddhakapoor #TerePyaarMein on loop dada,” Alia captioned the post.
Soon after she posted the video, Shraddha quickly reacted to the clip and called out Ranbir to use his own Instagram account.
Shraddha wrote, “Uffff you cutestest @aliabhatt,” she wrote, adding, “P.S: Yeh kya Makkaari hai Ranbir? Apne real id se aao.”
Replying to her post, Alia wrote, “Hahaha good luck making that happen my fellow fishy.”

To which the ‘Aashiqui 2’ actor reacted, “Bohot ho gaya! Chal iske (real) fake id ko expose karte hai.”
Ranbir doesn’t have a verified account on any social media platforms yet. So, Shraddha might have just hinted towards the ‘Shamshera’ actor having an anonymous account.
Helmed by Luv Ranjan ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ is an upcoming romantic comedy film which is all set to hit the theatres on March 8, 2023.
Recently the makers of the film unveiled the first song of the film ‘Tere Pyaar Mein’ which got massive responses from the fans.
‘Tere Pyaar Mein’ oozes freshness and romance. The song is composed by Pritam, sung by none other than Arijit Singh along with Nikhita Gandhi, and has lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
With Ranbir and Shraddha’s presence, the song looks like a beautiful combination of love and liveness that strikes the right chord with the youth.

Mumbai: Actor Karisma Kapoor took a stroll down memory lane and added a dash of nostalgia to her Friday with a throwback picture.
Taking to Instagram, Karisma treated fans with a flashback of her 90s look.
Sharing the picture, she wrote, “90’s baby.What’s ur 90’s jam ?”
In the throwback picture, she was seen donning a black top, keeping her head tilted and looking at the camera. That little hair on her face enhanced her beauty.

Talking about Karisma’s work front, recently her movie ‘Brown’ has been announced as a part of the notable Berlinale Series Market Selects.

Helmed by Abhinay Deo of ‘Delhi Belly’ fame, ‘Brown’ is based on Rita Brown, a suicidal alcoholic, and Arjun Sinha, a widower with survivor’s guilt. The protagonists need to deal with an unstoppable serial killer on the loose. The Neo-noir series captures the existential angst of these investigators who are on the precipice of an abyss, that’s their life.
The series encapsulates themes of depression, irrelevance, addiction, corruption and false appearances.
“Playing the role of Rita Brown has been intriguing and creatively satisfying, to say the least,” Karisma added.
‘Brown’, which is created by Zee Studios, also stars Helen, KK Raina and Jishu Sen alongside Karisma, Surya Sharma and Soni Razdan.
