How to know whether invoice has been deducted or not
Go to https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in website. Select the option of Check Challan Status. You will get the option of Challan Number, Vehicle Number and Driving License Number (DL). Select the option of Vehicle Number. Fill the required information asked and click on ‘Get Detail’. Now the challan status will appear.
How to fill traffic challan online
Go to https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in/. Fill the required details and captcha related to the challan and click on Get Details. A new page will open on which the details of the challan will be displayed. Find the challan you want to pay. Along with the challan, the option of online payment will appear, click on it. Fill in the payment related information. Confirm payment. Now your online challan has been filled.

ATM Transaction New Charges: Big news! Withdrawing cash

Canara Bank has increased the service charge on annual fee, replacement of card, debit card inactivity charge and SMS alert charge. The new service charges will be applicable from February 13. Let’s know the complete details about it.
Public sector Canara Bank has given a big blow to the customers in the new year. Actually, the bank has increased the service charge on all types of debit cards. According to the bank notification, the new service charges will be applicable from February 13, 2023.
In a statement issued by Canara Bank, it was said that the bank has increased the service charge on annual fee, replacement of card, debit card inactivity charge and SMS alert charge. Taxes are not included in the service charge. Applicable taxes will be charged extra. The revised service charges will be effective from February 13, 2023.
Canara Bank Debit Card Annual Fee
Under the changes, Canara Bank has increased the annual fee on the use of Debit Card. The annual fee for Classic or Standard Debit Card has increased from Rs 125 to Rs 200.
The annual charge for the Platinum card has been increased from Rs 250 to Rs 500 and the annual charge for the business card has been increased from Rs 300 to Rs 500. The bank will continue to levy an annual charge of Rs 1000 for select Debit Cards.
Fee up to Rs 150 will have to be paid for replacing the debit card
According to Canara Bank, from February 13, the customer will have to pay Rs 150 for replacing the classic or standard category debit card. Earlier no fee was applicable on this. The bank has increased the debit card replacement fee from Rs 50 to Rs 150 for Platinum, Business and Select categories.

Card Inactive Fee and Fee on Message Alert
Charges will also have to be paid for deactivating the Debit Card of Canara Bank. The bank has implemented this charge of Rs 300 which will be applicable only on Business Debit cards. There will be no charge for deactivating the remaining category of cards. The bank has kept a fee of Rs 15 on SMS alert.
Canara Bank Debit Card Inactivity Fee and Fee on Message Alert
For Business Debit Card users, the bank will now levy a card inactivity fee of Rs 300 only annually. No charge will be levied on any other type of card. Apart from this, Canara Bank will now levy SMS alert charges on actual basis.
Canara Bank has also made the loan costlier
Recently, Canara Bank has increased the Marginal Cost Based Lending Rate (MCLR) by 15 to 25 basis points. Increase in MCLR will make home, auto and personal loans costlier. The increased interest rates have come into effect from January 7, 2023.

DA/DR Hike: Central employees will get gift before Holi? 4% hike

7th Pay Commission Update: In September 2021, the central government had increased the dearness allowance of central employees from 34 percent to 38 percent by 4 percent. Now once again it is expected to increase by four percent.
The festival of Holi is about to come and on this festival of colors, the central employees can have a bat. In fact, it is expected that the central government can give a big gift to the employees and pensioners by increasing the dearness allowance. Employees organizations are expecting 4% DA/DR Hike. If this happens, then their dearness allowance will increase from 38 percent to 42 percent and there will be a bumper increase in the salary of central employees.

Lakhs of employees-pensioners will be benefited
If the government decides to increase the dearness allowance before Holi, then it will benefit about 48 lakh central employees and 63 lakh pensioners.
However, no announcement has been made by the government regarding DA Hike yet. But according to media reports, the Center can give gifts to its employees and pensioners before Holi.

According to this, employees with minimum basic salary will get a benefit of Rs 720 every month and Rs 8,640 annually. On the other hand, the salary of employees with maximum basic salary will see an increase of Rs 2,240 every month, which will be Rs 26,880 annually.
That’s why the expectation increased among the employees
according to media reports, the CPI-IW for December 2022 released to the employee organizations in the month of January was 132.3. According to this, an increase of more than four per cent is expected in the dearness allowance.
Such expectation of increase in DA/DR has also intensified because the Narendra Modi government at the center can announce gifts for the central employees before the Lok Sabha elections to be held in the year 2024.
Although, this update is according to the news released in the media, but the final decision on this has to be taken by the government.
