  • JK first to start GPS based attendance For These Employees

    [ad_1]

He enjoined upon the officers to monitor the progress at highest levels so that the results improve substantially. He maintained that the teachers in government sector are best in terms of qualifications and trainings and they just needs to focus more on academic activities to ensure improved results.

The Chief Secretary advised the department to make this feedback a benchmark while analysing the annual performance reports of the teachers. He said that the teachers who perform well, and are punctual and who also receive good feedback from students should be duly recognized and rewarded by the department. He observed that such teachers should be preferred in career progression and other recommendations.

The system named as “SAMIKSHA” as it will be reflecting the true performance of the Teachers with respect to their inputs in the actual classroom, leaving no space for subjectivity.

It was given out  that the student feedback forms are designed to get feedback from students on different teaching-learning techniques in the institution. Besides the teachers are given unique usernames and passwords to verify their input and outcomes. The comprehensive report will be visible to all levels viz-Teachers, HOIs, ZEO, CEO, DSEK/J, and at UT level in the hierarchy.

The department has worked out some 25 parameters (questions) regarding teachers and school ambience, out of which 02 are optional. The school and teacher based questionnaire needs to be filled by the students once on monthly basis grading them on 5-point scale with Excellent, Very Good, Good, Average and Below Average results, as informed during the launch ceremony.

Another app launched today was ‘JK Attendance-SED’ available for downloading on both Android and iOS. The application will give a peek into the daily attendance of teachers to even Directors and CEOs. The application will capture live location of the employee with Geo Coordinates and even allow his/her time specific tracking.

The attendance system would reduce paperwork and save time and resources. It would eliminate the duplicate data entries and  improve  management of attendance across all schools.

The same application would enable employees to make leave requests online. It would automatically send it for necessary approval and keep his/her leave account safe for viewing by the higher authorities.

Later on the Chief Secretary also released ‘Whole School Safety’ manual. He called it a very important document prepared by the department. He observed that the safety of our children is all important and should be given priority over every other concern. He declared that this document is important and provides holistic  approach for keeping children safe against hazards.

The Principal Secretary, School Education, Alok Kumar revealed that all of the digital applications besides the safety manual has been prepared in-house by the department employing its own personnel and resources. He gave out that he feels immensely pleased that Directorate of Samagra Shiksha has trained Key Resource Persons in this regard.

He stated that the necessary orientation of all CEOs/DIET principals and teachers as per the guidelines has also been done, which explicitly elaborate various kinds of vulnerabilities our children are exposed to and their remedies. The SOPs on current pandemic viz-a-viz the role and responsibilities of every individual concerned makes the document a comprehensive reference document.

The same is also an initiative of Samagra Shiksha which has been designed for creating a safe environment for children, starting from their homes to their schools and back, says the manual.

  • ATM Transaction New Charges: Big update for crores of bank

ATM Transaction New Charges: Big update for crores of bank

    [ad_1]

These banks have recently increased the charges for withdrawing money from ATMs, due to which the customers have to face a lot of problems. Which bank has increased the rates by how much, let us know

Now withdrawing money from ATM has become more expensive. After the free withdrawal limit, you will have to pay a higher cost for each transaction of withdrawing money. All major government and private banks across the country have made changes regarding cash withdrawal from ATMs. This fee is 20 to 22 rupees. Different banks have imposed different rules and charges.

Know what are the new rules of which bank

    SBI-

In case of metro cities, the number of free transactions is limited to 3. A charge of Rs 10 is levied on cash withdrawal transactions over and above the free limit at SBI ATMs. SBI charges Rs 20 per transaction for additional financial transactions at other bank’s ATMs. In addition to the fee, applicable GST is also charged to the customer’s account.

    PNB:

PNB gives 5 free transactions per month at ATMs. Also, a charge of Rs 10 has to be paid for any financial transaction. Apart from PNB, the rules of transaction are different from ATMs of other banks. There is a rule of 3 free transactions in metro cities and 5 free transactions in non-metro cities in a month. A charge of Rs 20 is levied for doing financial or non-financial transactions beyond the free limit from other bank’s ATMs.

    HDFC Bank :

Only the first 5 withdrawals from HDFC Bank ATMs in a month are free. Rs 20 plus taxes per transaction for cash withdrawal, Rs 8.5 plus taxes for non-financial transactions. 3 free transactions allowed at any other bank’s ATM in 6 metro cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bengaluru) and 5 free transactions (financial and non-financial) in a month at other locations If the transaction is declined due to insufficient balance at other bank’s ATM or merchant outlet, a charge of Rs.25 will have to be paid.

    ICICI:

5 transactions are free from ICICI ATM in a month. After that Rs 20 plus GST has to be paid on ATM withdrawal. This limit is for financial transactions while the charge for non-financial transactions is Rs 8.50 plus GST.

    Axis Bank:

5 financial transactions are free in a month from Axis Bank ATMs. Financial and non-financial 3 transactions are free in metro cities. At other places, 5 transactions are free in a month. If cash is withdrawn from Axis and Non Axis ATMs outside the limit, then Rs 21 per transaction will have to be paid.

Earlier banks used to charge Rs 20 per transaction

The first 3 transactions are absolutely free for withdrawing money from the bank’s ATMs in the six metro cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. This includes both financial and non-financial transactions. While in non-metro cities, you can withdraw money from ATMs up to 5 times. After this, for financial transactions in metro cities, Rs 20 per transaction and Rs 8.50 for non-financial transactions had to be paid. Which has now been increased to 21.

Due to this the transaction fee has been increased

The decision to increase the transaction fee has been taken due to the increase in the cost of banks related to installation and maintenance of ATM machines. At the end of the financial year 2020-21, there were 1,15,605 ‘onsite’ (in bank premises) ATMs and 97,970 ‘offsite’ (apart from bank premises) ATMs across the country.

  • PAN Card Holders Alert! Link PAN with Aadhaar before March 31

    [ad_1]

The government has made it mandatory to link PAN with Aadhaar. For this, the deadline of March 31, 2023 has been fixed. Out of the total 61 crore PANs, about 48 crore have been linked with Aadhaar so far and those who have not done so by March 31, will not be able to get benefits in business and tax related activities.

Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) Chairperson Nitin Gupta said on Sunday that several crore PANs have not yet been linked to Aadhaar, but this work is expected to be completed by the end of the March 31 deadline.

Individual PANs not linked with Aadhaar will be declared inactive after March 31, 2023. Individual PANs not linked with Aadhaar will be declared inactive after this date. Along with this, the government has said that from the present time to March 31, a fee of Rs 1,000 will have to be paid to link PAN with Aadhaar.

Several awareness campaigns were conducted regarding linking of PAN with Aadhaar, the
CBDT Chief said, “Many awareness campaigns have been conducted regarding linking of PAN with Aadhaar and we have extended this deadline several times. If Aadhaar is not linked to PAN by the stipulated time, then that holder will not be able to get tax benefits as his PAN itself will not be valid after March.

The CBDT has made it clear in a circular issued last year that once the PAN becomes inactive, the person concerned will have to face all the consequences prescribed under the Income Tax Act. This includes situations like non-filing of income tax returns and non-processing of pending returns.

Along with the announcement of making PAN a common identifier, he said that the budget announcement to make PAN a common identifier will be beneficial for the business world. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced in the budget that business establishments will now be able to use PAN as a common identifier in the digital system of government agencies.
