JKPSC Withdraws 397 Posts Advertised in Higher Education Department – TheNewsCaravan Newspaper

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission(JKPSC) has withdrawn 397 Posts Advertised vide 4 different notifications from 2021 and 2022. The effect came soon after J&K Higher Education Department asked the PSC board to withdraw the posts.
The official statement released by JKPSC reads:
Whereas, the Higher Education Department vide letter dated 25.09.2020, 05.07.2021, 06.01.2021, 17.02.2021, and 13.04.2022 referred 397 posts (52+173+126+46) of Assistant Professor in various disciplines/ Librarian/PTI; and, Whereas, the posts were, accordingly, advertised vide Notification No. 08-PSC (DR-P) of 2021 dated 18.08.2021, No. 09-PSC (DR-P) of 2021 dated 03.09.2021, No. 13-PSC (DR-P) of 2022 dated 25.05.2022 and No. 15-PSC (DR-P) of 2022 dated 30.06.2022; and,
Whereas, the Higher Education Department vide letter No. HED- GAZ/2018/2022-04 dated 01.12.2022 required the Commission to withdraw these posts.
Now, therefore, in view of the communication of the Higher Education Department under reference, the posts advertised vide Notification No. 08- PSC (DR-P) of 2021 dated 18.08.2021, Notification No. 09-PSC (DR-P) of 2021 dated 03.09.2021, Notification No. 13-PSC (DR-P) of 2022 dated 25.05.2022 and Notification No. 15-PSC (DR-P) of 2022 dated 30.06.2022 are hereby withdrawn.
The candidates who have applied against these posts are advised to approach the Commission via email jkpsconlinerefund@gmail.com with acknowledgement receipt and account number for refund of the fee by or before 15.02.2023.

Introduction to Sericulture
Overview and importance of sericulture. Sericulture with particular reference of J&K and Temperate and subtropical and tropical sericulture. Origin and history of sericulture -national and international silk organizations, organizational set up in different countries including. India – development of sericulture through five year plans, organization of sericulture industry – cocoon markets, silk exchange, export-import policy and laws – laws relating to the production of silkworm seedcocoon, raw silk and transport – price stabilization, Research & Development institutes of CSB, State Government and Universities. Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has released notification regarding Rejection of candidature for the post of Lecturer, Nephrology (Super Speciality), GMC, Srinagar.
As per Notice dated 08.03.2022, on the subject, the candidature of Dr. Rayees Yousuf S/o Sheikh Mohamad Yousuf is rejected for the post
of Lecturer, Nephrology (Super Speciality), Government Medical College, Srinagar as he has not submitted the domicile certificate.
CHECK HERE NOTIFICATION
In case he feels aggrieved with the rejection of his candidature, he may represent before the Commission in support of his claim within 10 days from the date of issuance of this Notice. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained after the stipulated period.

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has released Answer Key on January 22, 2023. Candidates who appeared for the written test for the post of Assistant Legal Remembrancer/District Litigation Officer can check and download the provisional answer key from the official website – jkpsc.nic.in. OR here on the Kashmir News Page.
In pursunace of rule 10(c) of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (conduct of Examination) Rules 2022, as amended upto date, the provisional Answer Key of Question Paper pertaining to the Written Test for the post Of Assistant Legal Remembrancer/District Litigation Officer, 2022 held on 22/01/2033 is hereby notified for seeking the objections from candidates
