    DDC inaugurates Training programmes under PMKVY 4.0 at ITI Shopian

    SHOPIAN, APRIL 24: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya who is also Chairman, District Skill Committee Shopian today visited ITI Shopian and inaugurated training programmes under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 4.0 here.

    Under the centrally sponsored scheme, free of cost training shall be imparted to the unemployed, school and college dropouts in the selected job roles to enhance their employability.

    It was intimated that three batches with 80 trainees (beneficiaries) were started today. Training of other batches with 160 trainees/ beneficiaries under various Job roles approved under PMKVY 4.0 for Shopian district will be mobilized and started during the month of May 2023, in the second phase.

    The DDC interacted with trainees/ beneficiaries of the scheme and stressed upon the importance of learning new skills with high market demand and using mastered skills for securing meaningful employment.

    ADMISSION FOR SHORT-TERM SKILL TRAINING UNDER PMKVY 4.0

    In pursuance to the letter issued by Directorate of Skill Development J&K letter NO:DSD/401/Trgs/2023/3308.48 dated:21-02-2023. Applications on prescribed Registration form are invited from the unemployed/school & college dropouts for admission to below mentioned job oriented short term course under Skill Hub Initiative (SHI) of Prime Minister Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 4.0) scheme in Govt. ITI Reasi. The admission cum registration forms can be had from the office of the Superintendent Govt. ITI Reasi free of cost during working hrs. The application form duly completed along with the below mentioned self attested documents should be deposited in the office of Govt. ITI Reasi by or before 24-3-2023.

    i) Marks certificate of 10″ pass.

    ii) Date of birth certificate

    iii) Copy of Aadhar card.

    iv) Copy of bank pass book.

    v) Three passport size photographs. vi) Category certificate if any.

    Training programme Benefits :

    Completely free of cost training .

    NSQF placement linked courses.

    PMKVY training kit shall be provided to the admitted candidates.

    Instructions to candidates.

    For admission to programme reference will be given to learners living in local community.

    Admission cum registration shall be on First cum first serve basis.

    Training shall be started only after completion of full batch.

    Admission will not be given students who have taken similar type of training from some other training Organization.

    Aadhar based Biometric attendance is mandator), for the students undergoing training.

    Learners should attend theory/practical class at the time slots allotted to them.

    Strict discipline in accordance with the Institute should be maintained through out the course period.

    Students who successfully complete the SMKVY programme are entitled to get NSDC certificate on completion of assessment process in accordance with NSDC norms.

DCP/2023/DSC/01-15, dated 04.03-2023, Applications are invited from the permanent inhabitants (Female/ Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe and Person with Disability only) of Union Territory of I&K, interested to undergo following short-term skill training course at Government ITI Mendhar. The Candidates having minimum 16 years and maximum 25 years of age, as on 1st Jan 2023, (except Driver Cum Mechanic LMV course, for which minimum age is 18 Years) can apply.

    The desirous candidates have to fill up the application forms available in the office of Superintendent Govt. ITI Mendhar and submit the same to the office of Superintendent Govt.     ITI Limited has rich experience of serving defence and aviation clients. The company is successfully executing a project for upgradation of IAF’s 3G network to 4G network, and also has been serving the Indian Army through various projects.

    The company is also executing upgradation of OPS of data centres at six locations for IAF. ITI Limited had successfully executed the first three phases of ASCON project for the Indian Army. Now, the company is providing services to maintain the ASCON network.

    ITI Limited has indigenously developed Digital Mobile Radio (DMR). This device uses digital technology along with a time division approach to enable greater levels of efficiency and performance along with improved spectrum usage.

    DMR aims to provide an affordable, low-complexity digital standard to replace analog radio. DMR based VHF/UHF radios are used in many applications such as military communications, police, railways, public safety, traffic control, disaster management, industrial security and communications etc. The VHF/UHF radio can be used in direct-to-direct communication in Tier I, Tier II or in multi-site environments in Tier II, Tier III modes.

    In the Space sector, ITI Limited’s Palakkad Plant was recently appreciated by ISRO for realising the flight packages with respect to launch of LVM3 M2/OneWeb India-1 Mission in a time-bound manner meeting all Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) quality norms.

    They should have passed a relevant trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT or any other authority specified through a gazette notification of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/Ministry of Labour and Employment with duration as per the Apprentice Act 1961, plus passed Madhyamik / Class X std or equivalent (Minimum 50% aggregate marks both in Matriculate & ITI). The candidate should possess the qualification as on the closing date of online application.
