Srinagar, July 13(GNS) Three Non-locals Labourers were injured after suspected militants fired upon them in Gagran area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday evening.
A top police officer told GNS that militants this evening fired upon three non-locals in Gagran area.
All three were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, the status of their condition was not available.
As per intial reports they have been identified as Anmol, Hirlal and Pinto. More details emerging.(GNS)
SRINAGAR: A youth was injured after being stabbed by his friend in Krangsoo area of Mattan in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.
Quoting an official, KNO reported that Adnan Altaf of Krangsoo was stabbed by his friend outside his home after an argument.
He said Adnan received injuries in his arm and shoulder in the attack. “He was shifted to a hospital, where his condition is said to be stable,” he said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
Hyderabad: The employees of MSN Laboratories Private Limited sustained severe injuries as the company bus they were travelling in overturned after colliding with a private travel bus on NH-44 near Chegunta on Wednesday morning.
The bus was carrying 25 employees from Siddipet to their unit located at Chandampet, of whom 10 received injuries.
Following the incident, the management of the company rushed all the employees to a nearby hospital. However, Ravi Shankar Reddy who was in critical condition was referred to Hyderabad for better treatment.
Chegunta Police have registered a case in the matter.

Hubbali: A local leader, who was earlier with the BJP and had joined Congress recently, was injured in a clash between BJP and Congress workers during the polling in Bellary rural constituency in Karnataka on Wednesday.
Umesh Yadav was injured in the head in the clash between workers of the two parties. Police reached the spot and dispersed the violent mob.
In another incident, BJP workers allegedly clashed with the Karnataka Rajya Pragathi Paksha Party (KRPP) workers at booths no 159 and 160 at Gangavati central constituency.
The KRPP is the political party floated by Gali Janardhan Reddy, the mining baron of Bellary. Reddy has floated his own party and is contesting from Gangavati assembly seat.
The KRPP will eat into the votes of the BJP in the Karnataka Assembly polls and there have been minor clashes in the area for the past few days.
07 passengers injured as 02 vehicles collide in Uri Baramulla
Baramulla : An accident took place at Gunpost Nambla Uri between two vehicles Alto Bearing registration number JK05J-8290 and Tata Punch bearing registration number JK05L-3712 resulting in injuries to 07 persons.
They have identified as Rehnaz Banu, Sameena, Afshana, Syed Ishtiyak, Bashir Ahmad, Mohammad Shafi and Mohammad Sharif who all are residents of Uri area. all injured were shifted to SDH Uri for first aid where from they were referred to GMC Baramulla for treatment.

According to officials, the accident occurred at Gun Post Nambla between two vehicles, an Alto bearing registration number JK05J-8290 and a Tata Punch bearing registration number JK05L-3712. The injured individuals have been identified as Rehnaz Banu, Sameena, Afshana, Syed Ishtiyak, Bashir Ahmad, Mohammad Shafi, and Mohammad Sharif, all residents of Uri.
They were immediately taken to SDH Uri for first aid, and two of them were later referred to GMC Baramulla for further treatment.
The police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation (KS)
SRINAGAR: A woman lost her life, and four others were injured in a road accident in Doda district of Jammu division.
According to a police officer, the accident occurred at Pull Doda when a Celerio car bearing registration no. JK 06 1453 met with an accident on Satwas road.
Among the five injured persons, Payal Devi, wife of Sandeep Singh, died before reaching the hospital.
The other injured individuals have been identified as Sandeep Singh, Santosha Devi (wife of Vicky, resident of Jammu), Arundeep Rakwal (son of Rajinder Singh, resident of Satwas), and Prayanshi Devi (daughter of Sandeep Singh, resident of Satwas). All have been shifted to GMC Doda for medical treatment, as per officials.
The police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation. (KS)
