    Mumbai: Indian television actor, Shivangi Joshi, on Wednesday shared a picture from a hospital and revealed that she was recently diagnosed with a kidney infection.

    Taking to Instagram, Shivangi shared the picture which she captioned, “Hi everyone, Been a rough couple of days, I have had a kidney infection, but want to let you know that with the support of my family, friends, the doctors, the hospital staff & grace of God, I’m feeling better. This is also to remind you’ll to take care of your body, mind and soul and most importantly stay hydrated guys. Love you all, And I will be back in action very soon. Recovering & healing. Lots of love Shivangi.”

    Soon as the actor shared the post, her fans and friends flooded the comment section with ‘get well soon’ wishes.

    Actor Shweta Tiwari commented, “Get well soon my love..”

    Actor Sudanshu Pandey wrote, “Wishing u speedy recovery.”

    ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant Rajiv Adatia wrote, “Get well soon baby!”

    “Stay strong and get well soon di,” a user wrote.

    Shivangi is known for her roles in super hit Tv serials like ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, and ‘Balika Vadhu 2’.

    SRINAGAR: A civilian was shot at and injured by unknown gunmen in Hassanpora area of Bijbehara hamlet in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said on Friday.

    Quoting an official the news agency KNO reported that militants fired upon a civilian in Hassanpora in which he received injuries following which he was shifted to Dub District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara for treatment.

    The injured civilian has been identified as Asif Ali Ganai, son of Ali Mohammad Ganai of Hassan Pora Tavela.

    Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.

    SRINAGAR: A man was injured in a mysterious blast in Warpora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.

    Quoting an official news agency KNO reported that the man was digging earth at his orchard in Warpora when the blast took place.

    He said that the man was injured in the incident and was immediately shifted to a nearby health facility, where from he was referred to Srinagar.

    The man has been identified as Mohammad Jamal Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar of Warpora.

    Hyderabad: More than 20 people were rushed to the district hospital after they reportedly inhaled chlorine gas leaking from a tank installed for the purification of water supplied in Jangaon.

    People residing in the nearby area where the tank was installed complained of breathing difficulties, cough and nausea following which they were shifted to the hospital by other locals on Thursday.

    Those admitted to the hospital are reportedly stable after receiving treatment, while a few among them have also been discharged.

    Officials have reportedly launched a probe into the matter while the townies sigh relief after the situation was brought under control.

    Barabanki: Eleven students were hospitalised after they inhaled chemical fumes emanating from a garbage pile, including expired medicines, set afire by ragpickers near their school here on Wednesday, police said.

    The incident took place in Kamhariya Bagh area under Kotwali police station area, they said.

    Some ragpickers burnt some expired medicines along with garbage near a private school. It appears that the students inhaled the chemical fumes and their health deteriorated, said Circle Officer (CO) Naveen Kumar.

    School principal Rumi Tiwari said, “At around 11 am, fumes from the fire started coming towards the school and some students started coughing. The school staff acted in time and made arrangements to send the students back home.”

    “Eleven students, including four girls, were taken to the district hospital,” the principal said.

    Three of the students were later sent to Lucknow for further treatment, the police said.

    Meanwhile, a police team reached the spot and detained three men for burning garbage near the school.

    “We have detained one Shekhu, Sher Ali and Babloo who were found burning garbage and expired medicines behind the school. The matter is being investigated,” Kumar said.
