SRINAGAR: Kashmir Government Polytechnic (KGP) College, Gogji Bagh is inviting applications on plain paper for guest lecturers in various subjects. Candidates can submit the hard copy of the application form along with all the relevant documents in the college office before 4 PM March 10, 2023.
Applicants must be a domicile of Jammu and Kashmir. The engagement is on a temporary basis for a period of one year. The remuneration of selected candidates will be Rs 750 per hour subject to a maximum of Rs 20,000 per month.
The guest lecturers are sought in the following disciplines; Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, ECE Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, Wood Technology, and Leather Technology. The qualification for these posts is B Tech or BE in the relevant branch of engineering with a minimum of 55 per cent marks. Other disciplines are English, Physics, Maths, and Chemistry. The qualification for these posts is post-graduation in a relevant subject with a minimum of 55 per cent marks.
The marks distribution for being selected for the post is 80 points for basic qualification, five points for higher qualification, five points for GATE/NET/SET, five points for teaching experience, and five points for interaction.

Pursuant to the issuance of select list of Veterinarians by the designated Committee of SKUAST-K and its subsequent endorsemen by Administrative Department vide Na ASHF-P1619212021-10 dated 24-01-2023,theVeterinarians( 25 in no. listed as Annexure A to this order) who have submitted the desired documents in response to this office Notice referred to above, are hereby hired under ESVHD MVU Scheme subject to the blowing terms/conditions
ESVHD MVU Scheme subject to the blowing terms/conditions
1.) They should report to the concerned Chief Animal Husbandry Officers on 01-03-2023.
2.) The period of engagement shall be for 01 year extendable to a maximum period of 02 years.
3.) They shall be paid monthly consolidated stipend of Rs.56,100/-as per the rates approved by the Department of Animal Husbandry) and Dairying Gol.
4.) The hiring is purely of temporary nature for which they shall tender an affidavit duty attested by a 1st Class Magistrate to the effect that the job is temporary and they shall have no claim be permanent absorption in the Department and their service can be terminated any time with a prior notice of one month.
5. Their services shall be utilized as per the guidelines of the ESV HD MVU Scheme.
Further, the hiring of the Veterinarians shall also be subject to the Satisfactory Character & Antecedent 1.erification report from OD including the genuineness of the qualification and other related documents from the concerned authorities. Besides, the selection/ hiring of the candidates as Veterinarians, who fad to join on the scheduled date, shall deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio.

SRINAGAR: India Post is inviting applications for the engagement of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS)/ Branch Postmaster (BPM)/ Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) for the year 2023, across India.

SRINAGAR: Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) is inviting applications for the position of Trainee Scientific Officers. The BARC test is expected to be held in March 2023.

Tech and e-commerce giants announce massive hiring as they run out of employees to layoff

Several tech and e-commerce companies around the world are executing mass lay offs amid what is seen as fears of global recession and slowdown. Reports suggest that major tech and e-commerce companies have laid off 55% of their workforce, booting out around lakh of roles.

With the layoff wave continuing, the companies are running out employees to lay off but foreseeing the global recession the companies are bound to lay off, and to ensure the same tech and e-commerce giants have announced massive hiring only to layoff more employees to cut down their expenses.

Amazon aims at 133% layoff while Microsoft Corporation aims at 156% layoff in this fiscal year. Speaking to The Fauxy, an e-commerce company head said “Look, the Easiest way to cut down the company’s expense is employee layoff, and now when we are close to layoff 100% employees we need to hire more to layoff them, we aim to hire 30,000 employee and layoff nearly same number”

A jobless person told The Fauxy that he will apply for that job since he’ll have three months of notice period between hiring and firing and three months salary he will use for his startup of tea stall outside the same company.
