GMC Srinagar Recruitment 2024: Govt. Medical College Srinagar has invited applications on the prescribed format (Annexure-A) from eligible Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir candidates for engagement against the following posts on Academic Arrangement Basis under S.O. 364 of 2020 Dated: 27-11-2020 as per the following eligibility criteria. This recruitment drive will fill up 18 vacancies for the Clinical Psychologist, Child Psychologist, Rehabilitation Psychologist, Drug De-Addiction counselor, Special Educator, Remedial Therapist, and Occupational Therapist/Jr. Occupational therapist posts at GMC Srinagar.

As mentioned in the official notification of GMC Srinagar Recruitment 2024, the applicant’s age at the time of submission of the application must be between 18 and 63 years. Candidates selected for said positions will be paid a monthly salary in Pay Level-6 (35,400 – 1,12,400). The selection of applicants will be based on a Written Test.

Educational Qualification

Child Psychologist	Master’s Degree in Psychology with M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from any Institution or University recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India and have At least 2 years experience in Child/ Adolescence Mental Health/ Clinical Psychology.
Rehabilitation Psychologist	Master’s Degree in Psychology with M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from any Institution or University recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India and have At least 2 years experience in Child/ Adolescence Mental Health/ Clinical Psychology.
Drug De-Addiction Councilor	Master’s Degree in Psychology with M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from any Institution or University recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India and have At least 2 years experience in Child/ Adolescence Mental Health/ Clinical Psychology.
Special Educator	B Ed. in Special Education from any recognized Institution/ University.
Remedial Therapist	Graduation with B Ed. In Special Education (Remedial) with experience in Autism, Learning Disability and Intellectual Disability from any recognized Institution/University.
Occupational Therapist/Jr. Occupational therapist	10+2 with science or above qualification with a minimum diploma or having a degree in Occupational therapy course from any recognized Institution.

Age Limit:

The applicant’s age at the time of submission of the application must be between 18 and 63 yrs.

The desirous candidates shall submit the application form physically along with the following documents in the office of the Administrator, Associated Hospitals GMC Srinagar (Hospital Section, Room No. 322) w.e.f 09-12-2024 to 20-12-2024 upto 4:00 pm.

Documents Required:

Requisite Documents to be appended to the Application Form.

Application form duly filled-in with photograph affixed at the earmarked space.
Pay in slip for an amount of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only credited to account: 0349040100007655) which is non-refundable, duly stamped and signed by the bank authorities as per Annexure-B.
Date of Birth certificate.
Domicile Certificate. e. Registration Certificate(s) of the relevant course.
All the requisite qualification certificate(s) as reflected above in the eligibility criteria against each post.
