3. Fee of Rs. 1000/ (Rupees one thousand) only to be paid Online through National Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.
4. The e-Information Brochure can be downloaded from the official website of the Board viz. www.jkbopee.gov.in
5. The syllabus for the entrance examination / test is available in the e-Information Brochure.
6. Date of Common Entrance Test, if any, conducted by the Board (to be notified separately).
7. The Entrance Examination, if any, conducted for the course by the Board shall be Offline.

Submission of Online Application Forms:
The interested candidates are required to upload the following scanned original / self- attested certificates in the PDF format with size from 100-200 KB along with the Application Form:-
- Domicile of UT of J&K / UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST Certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate),
- Qualifying marks Certificate (12^th Class) ( where result has been declared),Date of Birth Certificate (only Matriculation Certificate issued by the Board);All GNM Marks Cards;Valid Reserved Category Certificate, if any;
- Any other documents, as may be required.
However, it is for the information of all the concerned that afore-titled documents as required for submission of application form shall be considered provisional and subject to change(s), if any, as may be notified by the Government subsequently.
Eligibility for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Programme:
A candidate must be:
1. a Domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may (For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate);
2. have passed 10+2 or Equivalent Examination from a Recognized Board and have obtained a Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Examination and Registered as R.N.R.M. with J&K Paramedical Nursing Council. A male Nurse, trained before the implementation of new Integrated Course besides being registered as a Nurse with J&K Paramedical Nursing Council, shall produce evidence of training approved by Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the areas such as O.T. Techniques, Ophthalmic Nursing, Leprosy Nursing, T.B. Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Cancer Nursing, Orthopedic Nursing;
3. be medically fit.
JKBOPEE Post Basic BSc Nursing Syllabus 2023
1. The syllabus for Entrance Test for this course is available in the e-Information Brochure which is available on the BOPEE website.
- The tentative number of seats, Reservation Policy etc. (Reservation shall be only applicable to Govt. Colleges/ Institutions) for the examination is given in the e- Information Brochure. In case the Board conducts the entrance examination, it shall be conducted in one sitting of two hours duration and the paper shall contain 120 questions comprising different sections.
Note:
The eligibility is bare minimum and shall be subject to such changes/bench marks as may
be fixed by the concerned Competent Authority. The Board shall on receipt of any such communication from the concerned Authority notify the same, which shall govern the eligibility criteria.
Instructions:
- Original Documents required to be submitted in the Institution at the time of Admission:-
- All Marks Certificates of the GNM Course;
- Marks Card of 12^th Class;
- Date of birth (only Matriculation Certificate issued by the Board);
- Domicile Certificate for candidates belonging to UT of J&K and ST Certificate as a Domicile for candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh;
- Category Certificate, if any (applicable for Govt. Colleges/ Institutions only);
- Registration Certificate issued by J&K Paramedical Council;
- Any other document as may be required by the Institution.
Roll No Slip/Admit Card:
The Notification for downloading of online electronic Admit Cards will be issued separately.
Venue for Conduct of Examination:
The Common Entrance Examination, if any, shall be conducted Offline at Jammu / Srinagar centres simultaneously as may be decided by the Board.
Issuance of Admit Cards and Date of Test (if test is conducted):
Information with regard to availability of Online Admit Cards, Venue and Time of the Common Entrance Test will be issued separately in due course of time.

A federal jury on Tuesday found that Donald Trump sexually abused and defamed E. Jean Carroll, a writer who accused the former president of attacking her in a department store dressing room in the 1990s.
The verdict in the civil trial marks the first time that Trump, who has been accused of sexual misconduct by more than two dozen women, has been held legally responsible for sexual assault. And it adds fresh tarnish to the former president’s reputation as he seeks to regain the White House amid a tide of legal troubles.

Wrestlers form two committees to decide on future course of action

New Delhi: The protesting wrestlers on Friday formed two committees to advice them on the future course of action in their fight against outgoing Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brijbhushan Sharan Singh.
The aggrieved wrestlers started the day contemplating their next move after the Supreme Court closed proceedings on their plea even as Sports Minister Anurag Thakur requested them to have faith in the system, saying the investigation will make everything crystal clear.
“Vinesh is discussing it with the legal team. We will inform tomorrow. Today we made two committee — one is a 31-member committee and the second is a nine-member one.
Khap panchayat, farmers and women organisations are there in 31 member committee. The nine-member committee will decide on the wrestling part,” said Bajrang Punia.

“I request the sports minister to come and stand on the side of truth.”
“We will restart our fight, maybe by going to the high court. This fight is not restricted to three wrestlers,” he added.
With the Delhi Police blocking the entry of more wrestlers to the protest site, only a few farmers could reach Jantar Mantar on Friday to extend their support.
The usual fervour was missing as the protest entered the 13th day though political and farmer leaders continued to visit the wrestlers. Congress leaders Kumari Selja, Kiran Choudhary and Anil Kumar extended their support to the grapplers.
“It feels like we are in prison. There are barricades on all sides. The police is also misleading our supporters. So many are sitting on the Delhi borders.”

“Our legal team and the mentors are still discussing the next move. We will let you know once we finalise something,” Olympic medallist Bajrang Punia had earlier told PTI.
The wrestlers have the option of moving to a lower court or the Delhi High Court if they are not satisfied with the police investigation into the sexual harassment charges against the outgoing Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brijbhushan.
The Supreme Court on Thursday closed the proceedings on the women wresters’ petition, saying the prayer for an FIR has been answered. The wrestlers said the apex court order was not a setback for them.
The Delhi Police has registered two FIRs, including one on POCSO Act, against Singh.
The police have also recorded statements of five wrestlers, including the minor.
“It is my request to all the sportspersons who are agitating there that whatever their demands were, they were met. Court has also given its directions and they should let an unbiased probe to complete,” Thakur said in Lucknow on the sidelines of a Khelo India event.
“Delhi police will do ‘doodh ka doodh pani ka pani’ and take strict action as per law,” he added.
The wrestlers, who alleged that police personnel misbehaved with them on Wednesday night, have threatened to return the awards the government has bestowed on them in the past.
Renowned wrestling coach Mahvir Phogat, the uncle of Vinesh Phogat, who is the face of the protest, also made a similar threat.
He is a Dronacharya awardee, having received the honour in 2016.
“I will return my medals if justice is not delivered in the case,” Phogat said.
“The kind of allegations he (WFI chief) faces, action should be taken against him and he should be arrested,” Phogat, who had joined BJP over three years ago, added.
When asked if he had spoken to any senior government official or raised the matter at party level, he said, “No there has been no talk so far.”
On Thursday, many Khaps held protests including in Hisar, Bhiwani, Jind and Rohtak, expressing solidarity with the wrestlers and demanding that they should be given justice.
Meanwhile, former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly said he would not like to comment on the issue, as he “doesn’t have complete knowledge” about it.
“Let them fight their battle. That’s what it is. I really do not know what’s happening there. I obviously read in the newspapers and I realise one thing in the sports world that you don’t talk about things that you don’t have complete knowledge about,” Ganguly said.
“So, I hope it gets resolved. The wrestlers have won a lot of medals and brought accolades to the country. Hopefully, it will be resolved,” the former BCCI president added.

JKSET 2023 – Application Form, Registration, Eligibility, Syllabus

The State Eligibility Test (JKSET/LASET-2023) shall be held on October 1st 2023 (SUNDAY) for determining the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor in Universities and Colleges of UT of J&K (JKSET) and UT of Ladakh (LASET). The University of Jammu (Nodal Agency) will conduct SET in 39 subjects (Table 1) at three main Centers – Jammu, Srinagar and Leh.

Note : Applicants are advised to submit the Online Application Form without waiting for the last date to avoid any kind of inconvenience or last-minute rush or unforeseen difficulties. The SET agency will not be responsible for network problems or any other problem of this nature in submission of online application. There shall be no extension in the last date of submission in any case.

Guidelines:

Before submission of the “Online Application Form”, candidate should read this notification and Information Bulletin carefully.

All the notifications regarding the test including the result of the JKSET/LASET will be made available on the JKSET/ University of Jammu website: www.jujkset.in / www.jammuuniversity.ac.in only.

Candidates in their own interest should regularly check the official websites for all information/updates.

The Reservation Policy adopted for the JKSET/LASET -2023 shall be same as per the existing policies of UT of J&K (SO 127 dated 20.4.2020) and UT of Ladakh (SO 14, 23.04.2020). The candidates belonging to Reserved Categories of other States except UT of J & K and Ladakh, however, shall be treated as Open/Unreserved Category.

Candidates are neither required to send any certificates/documents in support of their eligibility nor printout of their Application Form to JKSET Agency unless they qualify in JKSET/LASET.

It is mandatory for the candidates who qualify the JKSET/LASET -2023 Exam, to submit the print out of Application Form, Fee Payment Receipt and Admit Card along with attested copies of Eligibility and Category related documents/Certificates along with domicile certificate, mark sheets etc. at the time of document verification at the JKSET/LASET office. Hence it is advised that the candidate preserve all the above mentioned documents mandatorily.

JKSET Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) or an equivalent grade in point scale where grading system is followed in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from Universities/ Institutions recognized by UGC, are eligible for JKSET/LASET. The Schedules Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with disability (PwD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off), or an equivalent grade in point scale where grading system is followed in Master’s Degree

OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC in Sciences, Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, are also eligible for appearing in the JKSET/LASET. Candidates belonging to Transgender category would be eligible to draw the same relaxation in fee and age (if applicable) as are available to SC/ST categories.

Candidates who have appeared

OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree examination and whose result is still awaited

OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this Test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of eligibility for Assistant Professor only after they shall pass their Master’s degree examination or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/PwD category candidates). Such candidates must qualify their P.G. degree examination within two years from the date of SET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.

The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in JKSET/LASET.

Candidates are required to appear in the subject of their Post-Graduation only. The candidates whose post- graduation subject is not covered in the list of subjects (Table-2 of the JKSET/LASET Information Bulletin), may appear in UGC-NET/ UGC-CSIR Test held on regular basis.

Candidates having post-graduate diploma/certificate awarded by an institution falling outside the Indian University system or having foreign degree/diploma awarded by a foreign university/ institution should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence* of their course(s) with Master’s degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. (www.aiuweb.org).

(*Such candidates who qualify JKSET/LASET will be required to submit equivalence certificate from AIU, immediately after the declaration of result of the JKSET/LASET).

Fee is partially refundable (i.e. Rs 500/- only) to the eligible PwD candidates on the submission of required certificates for which a separate notification shall be issued.

MODE OF PAYMENT

Candidate has to pay Examination Fee through Online Mode using the Payment Gateway(s) integrated to the Online Application by Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking. Follow on screen instructions for payment of requisite fee. Please note that fee submitted by any other mode like money order, demand draft, IPO etc. will not be accepted.

Candidate must print the examination fee receipt generated after successful transaction for future use at the time of Form Verification. Candidates should note down and preserve the Transaction Reference Number and Application Form for future use.

Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

PROVISIONS RELATING TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITY (PwD)

The compensatory time provided to the visually impaired candidates in Paper-I is 20 minutes. Accordingly, there is provision of 40 minutes compensatory time in Paper–II. They will also be provided the services of a scribe who would be a graduate in a subject other than that of the candidates there is no provision of Test Booklets in Braille for Visually Handicapped (VH) candidates.

Those Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates who are not in a position to write in their own hand-writing can also avail such facility services of a scribe by making prior request, in writing, to Coordinator, JKSET office, University of Jammu/ Coordinator JKSET/LASET University of Kashmir/ Coordinator JKSET/LASET, University of Ladakh at least one week before the date of J&K SET. Compensatory time and facility of scribe would not be provided to other Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates.

Submission of JKSET Online Application Forms

The candidates are advised to follow the following five simple steps for filling their On- Line Application Forms.

Step-I : Visit the University of Jammu/ JKSET Website www.jammuuniversity.ac.in/ www.jujkset.in. (In case for UOJ website click on link JKSET/ LASET). Read important instructions for Online submission of forms carefully before proceeding further.

Step-II : Select the UT (i.e. J & K or Ladakh) and Category for which you are applying. Pay Examination Fee online through the given Payment Gateway(s) using Credit card/Debit card/Net banking. & Print Fee Receipt. Please note the Transaction Reference Number for registering yourself for filling up the application form.

Step-III : Register yourself using the Transaction Reference Number and note down the password. Select the UT for which you are applying and Upload your recent Photograph and Signature. The photograph must be a recent photograph (in jpg/ jpeg file, size less than 50Kb) with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background. Scan copy of the Candidate’s signature in jpg/jpeg file with less than 50kb.

Step-IV : Complete the Online Application Form filling up all the correct and relevant information in the required fields. Fill up your Personal, Contact, Academic details, Government Id Card no* and choices of Centre and subjects for JKSET/LASET in the Application form correctly. Note down the system generated Application Number for future use.

Preview the Form displayed on the screen. If details are correct, click on Submit. If there is any variation, make corrections and then Submit. Candidates must clearly mention and check the category (UNRESERVED/SC/ST/EWS/RBA/PwD/OSC/ALC-IB/PSP) to which they belong.

*Please note that the Government Id Card No filled by the candidate in the Application form will be verified at the entry of the examination hall.

Step–V : Take the print out of the application form and keep it for future use.

In case the status of Application is not updated to “Submitted” or fee reconciliation is pending, the

candidate should contact the Helpline Desk (email id. jksetcell@gmail.com) at J&K SET Office, University of Jammu, Jammu along with Application Form, Fee Receipt, and all other documents, within three days after the last date of submission of Application Forms. Thereafter, no claim, whatsoever, will be entertained by the University.

Candidates are advised to keep Transaction Reference Number (given in the Payment receipt), Password and Application Form Number for downloading the Admit card.

The candidature of the candidate, whose fee has not been received up to the prescribed last date and time, will not be considered for the examination.

Submission of downloaded Application Forms & Documents (Hardcopy):

There is no need to submit hard copy of the downloaded Application Form in the SET office before the examination. However, all the candidates must keep it along with proof of fee with them for future reference. Only the candidates who qualify the JKSET/LASET-2023 Examination shall have to submit the copy of the downloaded forms. Print receipt along related documents immediately after the declaration of the JKSET/LASET result for physical verification (as per scheduled to be notified separately).

The qualified candidates shall be issued SET Certificates only after the physical verification of their Eligibility and Category related documents/Certificates. In case of detection of the false declaration of Reserve Category at the time of Application, the candidature of the such candidates will be cancelled and they can be debarred from appearing in next three JKSET/LASET.

Candidates in their own interest should regularly check the official websites for all information/updates.

Candidates are neither required to send any certificates/documents in support of their eligibilitynor printout of their Application Form to JKSET Agency unless they qualify in JKSET/LASET.
It is mandatory for the candidates who qualify the JKSET/LASET -2023 Exam, to submit the print out of Application Form, Fee Payment Receipt and Admit Card along with attested copies of Eligibility and Category related documents/Certificates along with domicile certificate,mark sheets etc. at the time of document verification at the JKSET/LASET office. Submission of JKSET Online Application Forms

The candidates are advised to follow the following five simple steps for filling their On- Line Application Forms.

Step-I: Visit the University of Jammu/ JKSET Website www.jammuuniversity.ac.in/ www.jujkset.in. (In case for UOJ website click on link JKSET/ LASET). Read important instructions for Online submission of forms carefully before proceeding further.

Step-II: Select the UT (i.e. J & K or Ladakh) and Category for which you are applying. Pay Examination Fee online through the given Payment Gateway(s) using Credit card/Debit card/Net banking. & Print Fee Receipt. Please note the Transaction Reference Number for registering yourself for filling up the application form.

Step-III: Register yourself using the Transaction Reference Number and note down the password. Select the UT for which you are applying and Upload your recent Photograph and Signature. The photograph must be a recent photograph (in jpg/ jpeg file, size less than 50Kb) with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background. Scan copy of the Candidate’s signature in jpg/jpeg file with less than 50kb.

Step-IV: Complete the Online Application Form filling up all the correct and relevant information in the required fields. Fill up your Personal, Contact, Academic details, Government Id Card no* and choices of Centre and subjects for JKSET/LASET in the Application form correctly. Note down the system generated Application Number for future use.

*Please note that the Government Id Card No filled by the candidate in the Application form will be verified at the entry of the examination hall.

Step–V: Take the print out of the application form and keep it for future use.

In case the status of Application is not updated to “Submitted” or fee reconciliation is pending, the

Candidates are advised to keep Transaction Reference Number (given in the Payment receipt), Password and Application Form Number for downloading the Admit card.

The candidature of the candidate, whose fee has not been received up to the prescribed last date and time, will not be considered for the examination.

Submission of downloaded Application Forms & Documents (Hardcopy):
There is no need to submit hard copy of the downloaded Application Form in the SET office before the examination. However, all the candidates must keep it along with proof of fee with them for future reference. Only the candidates who qualify the JKSET/LASET-2023 Examination shall have to submit the copy of the downloaded forms. Print receipt along related documents immediately after the declaration of the JKSET/LASET result for physical verification (as per scheduled to be notified separately).
The qualified candidates shall be issued SET Certificates only after the physical verification of their Eligibility and Category related documents/Certificates. In case of detection of the false declaration of Reserve Category at the time of Application, the candidature of the such candidates will be cancelled and they can be debarred from appearing in next three JKSET/LASET.

JKBOPEE FMPHW/MMPHW Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission to (10th based) Para-Medical Diploma (FMPHW/MMPHW) Courses-2023 are as follows:

The candidate must be a domicile of the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir or Ladakh.
The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination from a recognized Board.
The minimum age limit for the candidate is 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
The upper age limit for the candidate is 35 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
For reserved categories, the upper age limit is relaxable as per the rules and regulations.
The candidate must have studied English as one of the subjects in 10th class.
The candidate must be physically and mentally fit to pursue the course.
The candidate must satisfy any other eligibility criteria prescribed by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Act, 2002, and the rules and regulations made thereunder.

JKBOPEE Eligibility for B.Sc. Nursing Programme:

The candidates applying for admission to B.Sc. Nursing Programme must fulfill the following eligibility criteria;

A candidate must:

be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate);
be 17 years old on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually including the candidates from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.

For the candidates belonging to reserved categories, the marks obtained in 3 core subjects shall be 40% instead of 45% for General category candidates.
The candidate must be medically fit.

Further the candidates appearing/appeared in 10+2 (12^th Class) examination 2023 can also apply, provided such candidates have qualified the examination at the time of declaration of the result of the Entrance Test or before the date of counseling/admission as may be notified by the Board;

Eligibility for B.Sc. Para-Medical Courses:

The candidates applying for admission to B.Sc. Para-Medical Courses must fulfill the following eligibility criteria;

A candidate must:

be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate);
be at least 17 years old on 31^st December-2023;
have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science (PCB) and English through a recognized Board / University securing minimum 50% marks and above for Open Merit Candidates and 40 % marks and above for candidates belonging to Reserved Categories in aggregate;

Further, the candidates appearing/appeared in 10+2 (12^th Class) examination; 2023 can also apply, provided such candidates have qualified the examination at the time of declaration of the result of the Entrance Test or before the date of counseling/admission as may be notified by the Board;

The candidates applying for Lateral Entry only must have obtained diploma in concerned stream and having passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and diploma registered with J&K Para-Medical Council.

Eligibility for B.Sc. Technology Courses in SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar: A candidate must:

be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates

belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate);

be at least 17 years old on 31^st December-2023,
