JK High Court Recruitment 2023 Notification for CBT Exam
It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that Shorthand/Type test for the posts of Steno-Typist in Subordinate Courts of UT of Jammu and Kashmir, advertised vide Notification No. 01 of 2022 dated 01.01.2022, which is scheduled to be conducted on 25th & 26th of February-2023 (for Kashmir based candidates) and 10th & 11th of March-2023 (for Jammu based candidates) shall be held at the following centres:
a) Faster Computer, Goripora Sanat Nagar, Jeep Showroom Lane, Opposite Marriage Hall, Srinagar, for Kashmir-based candidates.
b) B. N. College of Education, Sunjwan Road, Behind J&K Bank, Nowabad, Sunjwan, Jammu, for Jammu-based candidates.
The candidates are further informed that time slot for the Test and the reporting time would be mentioned in the Admit Cards.
The Admit Cards can be downloaded from the link available on the website of High Court of J&K and Ladakh at www.jkhighcourt.nic.in w.e.f 18.02.2023 (for kashmir based candidates) & w.e.f. 03.02.2023 (for Jammu based candidates).

Male student faints after finding himself among 500 girls in Bihar exam centre

Patna: A Class 12 student fell unconscious in the examination hall on Wednesday after finding himself the lone male among 500 girl students in Bihar’s Nalanda district, his family said.
The student was identified as Manish Shankar Prasad, 17, who went to the Brilliant Convent School Sundargarh to give the mathematics examination.
His relatives claimed that he was the only male student at the centre. When he saw a large number of female students, he became nervous and collapsed on the floor. The school administration came to his aid and admitted him in the Sadar hospital for treatment. He regained consciousness after a few hours, his father Sacchidanand Prasad, said.
Another relative blamed the Bihar Intermediate Council for allotting him the examination centre dedicated for female students.
“There were more than 500 girls students in the examination center. The school administration has given the seat to my nephew in the main hall of the school surrounded by a large number of girls. Manish failed to handle the situation after saw a large number of girls and fell unconscious,” his aunt said.
The intermediate (class 12 board) examination started in Bihar on Wednesday and cheating has been reported in several districts including in Nalanda, neighbouring Nawada, Munger, Banka, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Araria and other districts. Videos in this regard went viral at several examination centers.

JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations(JKBOPEE) has released the official notification for the 2023 session, the notification carries official entrance exam dates, result dates, counselling dates and application/registration form dates.

Telangana: TOSS notifies SSC, IPE exam fees

Hyderabad: The Director of Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) announced on Monday that the TOSS, SSC and Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) will be held in April/May 2023.
Candidates can pay the examination fee from February 1 to 10 without a fine, from February 11 to 16 with a fine of Rs 25 per paper, and from February 17 to 22 with a late fee of Rs 50 per subject.
According to the notification, the payments need to be made through the official website, or Meeseva/Telangana state online centres in the state.
The challan and demand draft payments will not be accepted. If any of the examination fee remittance dates is declared a holiday, the immediate next working day is to be reckoned as the remittance date, the notification clarified.

Junior clerk exam paper leak: Gujarat ATS arrests accused from Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) team has reportedly arrested Jit Nayak, an accused in the junior clerk exam paper leakage case, from the city. Although 15 accused persons were identified and arrested in the case, Nayak allegedly fled Ahmedabad and took shelter in Hyderabad.
On credible information, the ATS team located the accused in the city and arrested him. He reportedly is being taken to Gujarat, Ahmedabad on a transit warrant.
The recruitment examination for the post of junior clerks with the Gujarat government was postponed by the Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB) hours before it was to be held on Sunday after its question paper was reportedly leaked.
The Gujarat ATS arrested 16 persons in connection with the case registered under various provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for breach of trust, cheating and criminal conspiracy. The ATS also claimed to have busted an inter-state gang involved in paper leaks.
Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB) has announced 1000 vacancies for Class III Junior Clerk (Administration/Account) posts. As many as over 9.53 lakh candidates had applied. The examination was to be conducted at 2,995 examination centres across the state.
In an official statement, the Gujarat ATS declared the names of the 15 accused as Pradeep Nayak, Ketan Barot, Bhaskar Chaudhary, Murari Kumar Paswan, Kamlesh Chaudhary, Mohammed Firoz Alam, Sarvesh Kumar, Mintu Kumar Rai, Mukesh Kumar, Prabhat Kumar, Aniket Bhatt, Raj Barot, Pranay Sharma, Hardik Sharma and Naresh Mohanty.
As per reports, the sixteenth accused was arrested from Hyderabad.

TSBIE cuts inter first year practical exam syllabus by 30 pc

Hyderabad: Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has decided to reduce inter first practical exam syllabus to 70 percent. However, there will be no change in inter second year syllabus.
The practical exams are scheduled to be held in February 2023.
As per the press release by TSBIE, there will be no change in the theory syllabus of inter exams for first and second year. The inter exams for both years will be conducted in 100 percent syllabus.
Demand to postpone exams
Meanwhile, a few students are demanding the postponement of Telangana inter practical exams alleging that no practical classes were conducted in their colleges.
In some junior colleges, practical classes are not conducted in inter first. In the second year too, the classes are held just before the examination thereby leaving students confused.
It is alleged that some colleges don’t even have proper equipment needed to conduct lab.
English likely to be added to Telangana inter practical exams
TSBIE is gearing up to introduce English practical lab in intermediate courses.
From next academic year, the English practical exam is likely to be conducted for 20 marks by reducing the weightage of the English theory exam to 80.

The board has taken this decision to improve the spoken and comprehension skills of the inter students.
