    The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board(JKSSB) has released the provisional selection list of candidates for the post of Works Supervisor. This recruitment drive was advertised through Notification No.05 of 2020, dated 24.12.2020, under Item No. 134. The department had received a requisition for making direct recruitment to 76 posts of Works Supervisor, Divisional Cadre, Kashmir. The vacancies were further categorized as per the details indicated against each cadre, i.e., OM, RBA, ALC, SC, ST, EWS/PSP, OSC, and IB.

    The Public Works (R&B) Department had forwarded two indents for the recruitment of Works Supervisors. The first one, Indent No. PW(R&B) NG/124/2019, was dated 30.09.2020, while the second one, Indent No. PW(R&B) NG/124/2019, was dated 17.12.2020.

    To apply for the post of Works Supervisor, the candidate must have passed matriculation or its equivalent from any recognized board or university. In addition, the candidate must hold an ITI certificate in building construction or carpentry trade.

    The provisional selection list of candidates for the post of Works Supervisor has been prepared after a thorough selection process, including a written test and interview. The selection list has been prepared based on merit, and candidates have been selected in the order of merit.

    Candidates who have been provisionally selected will be required to produce all original documents and certificates for verification. Any discrepancy found during the verification process will result in the disqualification of the candidate.
