Big B, Deepika Padukone, Prabhas’ ‘Project K’ to release on this date

Mumbai: The makers of ‘Project K’ chose the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri to announce the film’s release date.
‘Project K’, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, will hit the theatres on January 12,2024.
Sharing the update, Deepika took to Instagram and dropped the film’s poster.
“12.1.2024 #ProjectK..Happy Mahashivratri,” she captioned the post.
In the poster, we can see a big hand-like structure with one finger pointing ahead. We can also see three men with their guns aiming at that hand amidst a war background.
Prabhas and Big B also shared the posters on their social media feeds. “12-1-24 it is! #ProjectK Happy Mahashivratri,” Big B wrote.
Helmed by Nag Ashwin, Project K is a bilingual film shot simultaneously in two languages i.e Hindi and Telugu across various locations. The film will also mark Deepika’s debut in the Telugu film market.
In January, the makers also revealed the first look of Deepika Padukone from the film, on her birthday. In the poster, we can see a silhouette of a woman. The face of the woman is not visible but she looks like the Gehraiyaan star. With short hair and dress like a warrior, the poster looks quite intriguing.
Disha Patani is also a part of Project K.

Bollywood Beauty Deepika Padukone Accompanies Hrithik Roshan to Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Top Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan, arrived in Kashmir, on Monday morning to shoot for their upcoming action film Fighter.

They were seen at Mumbai’s International Airport on Monday morning, February 6 to jet off to Kashmir for the shoot of their forthcoming project. Fighter signs Hrithik and Deepika’s first ever big-screen co-act.
Directed by Siddharth Anand Fighter also involves other actors including Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi for decisive roles.
According to sources, along with the director Siddharth Anand and artists Deepika and Hrithik, cinematographer Satchit Paulose and action director Sunil Rodrigues have also reached Kashmir.
The movie is planned to hit the theatres on January 25, 2024.
Both the actors have said to complete their first schedule of the film in 2022. As per reports, they are all set to shoot for the second schedule at Dal Lake and Pahalgam in Kashmir. They will be capturing some action arrays and scenes of a song at various sites of Srinagar and the whole valley.
Regardless of the cinematography, the government has deputed seven government teachers as duty magistrates to maintain the law and order during the shoot of the movie Fighter at Pahalgam with effect from February 7 to February 11.

The responsibility of the duty magistrates is to keep a close check on the situation at the respective locations with the coordination of the police and to convey an hourly report to Tehsildar Pahalgam.
The movie Fighter is anticipated to be India’s foremost aerial action franchise which will enact and display the bravery, slaughter, and patriotic sentiments of the Indian Army.
The cast and crew are expected to wrap up the shooting of the film in Kashmir by next week and then head to Hyderabad for the next schedule.

Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone in Kashmir for ‘Fighter’ shoot

Mumbai: Actors Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, on Monday morning, jetted off to Kashmir to start the next schedule of their aerial action thriller film ‘Fighter’.
The ‘Piku’ actor donned an oversized floral jacket over a black high-neck sweater paired up with blue jeans and black boots.
She tied her hair into a bun and accessorized her look with big black shades and a black handbag.
Hrithik, on the other hand, opted for an all-black gym outfit and was spotted hugging actor Akshay Oberoi at the airport.
Helmed by Siddharth Anand ‘Fighter’ also stars Akshay Oberoi, Karan Singh Grover and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles and is all set to hit the theatres on January 25, 2024.
The film marks Deepika and Hrithik’s first on-screen collaboration.
Hrithik was recently seen in a crime thriller film ‘Vikram Vedha’ alongside Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte, which got decent responses from the audience.
Deepika, on the other hand, is currently riding high on the success of her recently released film ‘Pathaan’ which collected more than Rs 400 crore in India in two weeks.

She will also be seen in an upcoming pan India film ‘Project K’ opposite actor Prabhas and in ‘The Intern’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan.

‘Pathaan’ director calls Deepika a bonafide action star

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who plays a spy in the upcoming spy-thriller film ‘Pathaan’, has been called a bonafide action star by the film’s director Siddharth Anand. As one can see from the trailer and the assets that have been released so far, the actress can be seen pulling off the action and sultry bit with equal ease.
Talking about his liking towards femme fatale in films, Siddharth said, “There is nothing more cool or sexy than a woman wielding a powerful weapon on screen. As a film-buff, I have always loved women doing sick action sequences and so, when we got Deepika Padukone in ‘Pathaan’, we wanted to present her in her most badass self – a gorgeous, gun-toting, femme fatale spy that people have never seen before!”
Recollecting a sequence from the film, the director added, “In one of the action sequences of ‘Pathaan’, Deepika wields the gatling gun and you have to see the sequence to believe how legit she is as a bonafide action superstar! She steals the show in this scene and I’m sure people will cheer the loudest for her every time she does action in ‘Pathaan’.”
‘Pathaan’, which sees Shah Rukh Khan returning to the silver screen after four years, also stars John Abraham. The film is set to release on January 25 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
