Hyderabad: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player Mohammad Siraj and Danish Sait’s video is trending all over the internet currently. Siraj, who is playing for RCB in the IPL appeared in the franchise’s show which is named ‘RCB Insider Show’ hosted by Danish.
The video, shared by RCB’s official Instagram page, begins with Danish Sait introducing Siraj as ‘Meri Jaan, Hyderabad Ki Shaan’.
In the video, the host of the show is seen asking Mohammad Siraj about his interaction with foreign players and staff members of RCB. Siraj said that he has learned so much English in the last month. What makes the show more interesting is when Siraj and the host of the show talk in Hyderabadi slang. The episode of the show was named Hyderabad’s slang lesson with Mohd Siraj.

The duo then proceeded to engage in playful banter using Hyderabadi and Dakkani slang, with Siraj creating sentences using words such as ‘Maa Ki Kirkiri, Hallu, Potti, Light Le Lo, Chinndi Chor, and Kirrak’. The video has become a viral sensation on the internet, with many praising the duo for showcasing the fun side of cricket and bringing smiles to people’s faces. This video is surely a treat for IPL fans.

Turkey summons Danish ambassador over burning of Quran, Turkish flag

Ankara: Turkey’s Foreign Ministry has summoned Denmark’s ambassador Danny Annan over the burning of the Muslim holy book of the Quran and a Turkish flag at a public demonstration in Denmark’s capital Copenhagen.
“It is unacceptable to allow these vile attacks under the guise of freedom of expression,” the Ministry said on Friday in a statement, noting the act was allowed despite Turkey’s warnings.
Turkish media reported that an anti-Muslim group called ‘Patriots Go Live’ burned a copy of the Quran and a Turkish flag in front of the Turkish embassy in Copenhagen earlier in the day. Similar attacks took place in front of the embassy on March 24 and 31.

The Ministry said such acts are condemned by all Muslims in the world, urging Denmark to prevent such provocations and take deterrent precautions, Xinhua news agency reported.
It informed the Danish envoy that Turkey will continue efforts on multilateral platforms against similar anti-Islam attacks and hate crimes.

Turkey summons Danish ambassador over anti-Islam protests

Ankara: Turkey’s Foreign Ministry summoned Danish Ambassador Danny Annan over “an attack targeting Quran and Turkish flag” at a public demonstration in Denmark.
The ministry said in a written statement that it strongly condemned and protested the “heinous act committed under the guise of freedom of expression”, which is “unacceptable”.
The statement came after Turkish media reported that members of the Danish far-right group The Patriots Go Live displayed Islamophobic banners and chanted anti-Islam slogans in front of the Turkish Embassy in Denmark’s capital of Copenhagen earlier on Friday, Xinhua news agency reported.
The protest was live broadcasted on the group’s Facebook page, local TV network CNN Turk reported.
“It is seen that the inadequacy of legal and administrative measures and the lack of political will to prevent such acts as well as impunity of perpetrators have encouraged further provocations,” the ministry said in the statement, speaking of the recurrence of anti-Islam demonstrations in Denmark lately.
It urged Danish authorities to take necessary actions against the perpetrators of this act and to take effective measures to prevent the recurrence of such “provocations”, according to the statement.
Earlier, Turkey had summoned the Danish ambassador to denounce “the desecration of the Quran and the Turkish flag” over a public protest staged in Copenhagen on March 24.

Ballia: Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Minority Welfare Danish Azad Ansari on Friday targeted the Samajwadi Party (SP) and said its leaders have a problem with the progress of the Muslim youth.
Ansari, the only Muslim minister in the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government in Uttar Pradesh, told reporters in Sikandarpur on Friday afternoon said that the progress of Muslim youths makes SP leaders “uncomfortable” and they are “troubled” by it.
Calling upon the youth of the Muslim community to contribute in the development of the society, Ansari said today it is necessary that they should contribute in the development of the society with promptness.
The minister alleged that the SP has a problem with the development of the minority society of Uttar Pradesh. Expressing his gratitude towards Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Ansari said the CM has given him a place in his Council of Ministers for uplift of society and he will serve the public with all sincerity.
Ansari went on to say that if leaders of the SP were concerned about the society, they would have talked about its progress and the uplift of the youth. “The SP does not want the minorities to progress,” he alleged.

Turkey summons Danish envoy for allowing Quran burning

Ankara: Turkish Foreign Ministry on Friday summoned the Danish ambassador to Ankara, Danny Annan, for allowing a demonstration that included the burning of a copy of the Quran in front of a mosque and Turkish embassy in the Denmark capital, Copenhagen.
Paludan burned a copy of the Quran in front of a mosque belonging to the “Islamic Community Association” after the end of Friday prayers in the Dorthevig neighborhood, under police protection.
Shortly after he burned the copy of the Quran in front of a mosque, Paludan burned a copy of the Quran again in front of the Turkish embassy in Copenhagen.
Paludan vowed to continue every Friday until Sweden is admitted into NATO.
Sweden and neighboring Finland are seeking to join the military alliance amid the war in Ukraine, in a historic departure from the non-aligned policy. But their entry requires the approval of all Nato members, and Turkey has indicated it will block Sweden’s bid – partly because of Paludan’s initial stunt. Even before that, Ankara has been pressuring the two countries to crack down on Kurdish militants and other groups it considers terrorists.
The Danish ambassador was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry where Turkish officials strongly condemned the permission given for this provocative act which clearly constitutes a hate crime.

As per a report by Anadolu Agency, the foreign minister assured the ambassador of Turkey’s condemnation in the strongest terms of allowing provocative action that involves an attack against the Holy Quran and is considered a hate crime.
The ambassador was told that “Denmark’s position is unacceptable” and that Turkey expects the permission to be revoked.”

Turkey’s foreign ministry later issued a statement calling Paludan an “Islamophobic charlatan” and denouncing the fact that he was allowed to organize the demonstration.
“Showing tolerance towards such heinous acts that offend the sensitivities of millions of people living in Europe threatens the practice of peaceful coexistence and provokes racist, xenophobic and anti-Muslim attacks,” the ministry said.
On Saturday, January 21, Paludan burned a Quran near the Turkish embassy in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, under strict police protection, which prevented anyone from approaching him while he was committing this act.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Sweden could no longer count on Turkey’s “support” in its NATO membership file.
