Cong alleges govt granted ‘monopolies’ to Adani Group, allowed it to ‘fleece’ consumers

    [ad_1]

New Delhi: The Congress on Saturday alleged that the government has granted “monopolies” to the Adani Group, allowing it to “fleece” consumers who need to use essential infrastructure services such as airports and electricity.

The opposition party also said that persistent demand for a JPC on the Adani issue was not to embarrass Prime Minister Narendra Modi but to unravel its full dimensions.

Posing a set of three questions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of the party’s “Hum Adani ke Hain Kaun” series, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said the focus of the posers was on how the “monopolies granted” to the Adani Group have allowed it to “fleece” consumers who need to use essential infrastructure services like airports and electricity.

The Congress is persisting with its attack on the government weeks after Adani Group stocks took a beating on the bourses after US-based short seller Hindenburg Research made a litany of allegations, including fraudulent transactions and share-price manipulation.

The Gautam Adani-led group has dismissed the charges as lies, saying it complies with all laws and disclosure requirements.

In his statement addressed to the prime minister, Ramesh claimed that the Adani-operated Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow, India’s 11th busiest airport, has proposed an “exorbitant increase” in the user development fee (UDF) paid by passengers.

“If approved by the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA), user fees will rise from Rs 192 to Rs 1,025 for domestic passengers and Rs 561 to Rs 2,756 for international passengers by the fiscal year 2025-26,” the Congress general secretary claimed.

AERA has already approved a six-fold fee increase for domestic passengers and a 12-fold fee increase for international passengers flying out of the Adani-operated Ahmedabad airport by 2025-26, he said.

“And AERA outdid itself in the case of the Adani-operated Mangaluru airport by not only hiking user fees for departing passengers but also imposing them on arriving passengers,” Ramesh claimed.

Is this not the “inevitable outcome of the PM’s decision to grant an airports monopoly to his friend Gautam Adani by handing him six out of six airports over the objections of the NITI Aayog and the Ministry of Finance”, the Congress leader asked.

“Will customers have to pay out of their pockets for the electoral bonds that your cronies are transferring to BJP coffers?” Ramesh said.

He also claimed that in 2008, Adani Power signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Haryana’s state-owned power distribution companies to supply 1,424 megawatts (MW) of electricity for 25 years at a levelised tariff of Rs 2.94 per unit.

But it began to default on its power supply obligations from December 2020, forcing Haryana to buy spot electricity at Rs 11.55 per unit, he claimed.

“Far from recovering what it was due, the Manohar Lal Khattar government decided to approve a supplementary PPA on June 27, 2022 through which it will procure a reduced 1,200 MW from Adani at Rs 3.54 per unit and will source the remaining 224 MW at a far higher price from Adani,” he alleged.

“Did you pressure CM Khattar to bail out your cronies yet again? How many thousands of crores of rupees will be fleeced from Haryana consumers by Adani to pay for the BJP’s electoral bonds?” Ramesh said.

He also claimed that on March 1, 2023, Adani Power made a disclosure to the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange that it had signed supplementary PPAs with Haryana’s two power distribution companies.

However, no such PPA had been signed at that time, he alleged.

Was this a crude attempt to shore up flagging Adani share prices, Ramesh asked.

“Will this be yet another case of SEBI turning a blind eye to blatant violations and deceptions by your favourite business group?” he said.

Responding to a media report which quoted senior lawyer Harish Salve as saying that the demand for a joint parliamentary committee (JPC) probe was aimed at only embarrassing the Centre, Ramesh tweeted, “My friend Harish Salve with whom I worked closely as environment minister is completely wrong.

“The persistent demand for a JPC on the Adani scam is not to embarrass the PM but to unravel its full dimensions, which no technocratic committee can or will be willing to do.”

Video: In Hyderabad, Cong women wear Smriti Irani masks; protest LPG price hike

    [ad_1]

Hyderabad: Demanding an immediate reduction in the commercial LPG cylinder prices, female workers of the Congress party donned masks with union minister Smriti Irani on them and displayed placards in protest.

On Wednesday, the prices of domestic cooking gas and commercial cylinders were hiked by Rs 50 and Rs 350.5 per cylinder respectively.

With this hike, the retail price of a domestic LPG gas cylinder in Hyderabad now becomes Rs 1155, while the price for a commercial cylinder is Rs 2325.

The youth congress led a rally to protest the price hike of domestic LPG gas cylinders. Women wore Smriti Irani’s masks and “Where is Smriti Irani”? slogans were raised.

“Earlier in 2014, when the price was Rs 410, Smriti Irani had come on the roads and staged a dharna, but today the price of a cylinder has tripled to Rs 1200, and she did not respond to it,” said Motha Rohit, a youth congress leader.

The Congress workers said that the Prime Minister is breaking the back of the common people by increasing the prices.

“The prime minister said that if we are given power at the centre, he will immediately reduce the price of gas and the price of essential commodities, but in the last 8 years, he failed to do so,” they said.

They said that the price hikes are burning the hearts of the people and demanded that the prices have to be reduced immediately.

“If the prices are not reduced immediately, people will come onto the roads and drive away every single Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader,” Motha Rohit said.

  • BJP, Cong trade barbs over Rahul’s Pegasus remarks at Cambridge University

BJP, Cong trade barbs over Rahul’s Pegasus remarks at Cambridge University

    [ad_1]

New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remarks at Cambridge University that he was under surveillance triggered a political slugfest on Friday with the BJP accusing him of maligning India on foreign soil and the Congress hitting back by citing instances of Prime Minister Narendra Modi raking up internal politics abroad.

Gandhi, who is a visiting fellow of the Cambridge Judge Business School, during a lecture ‘Learning to Listen in the 21st Century’ on Tuesday evening said Indian democracy is under attack and several politicians, including himself, are under surveillance.

Referring to the controversial Pegasus snooping issue, Gandhi alleged that the Israeli spyware was installed on the phones of a large number of politicians, including him.

“I, myself, had Pegasus on my phone. A large number of politicians have Pegasus on their phones. I’ve been called by intelligence officers who say please be careful what you say on the phone because we are sort of recording this stuff. So, this is a constant pressure that we feel,” the 52-year-old former Congress chief claimed at the lecture, a video recording of which was posted on Twitter by Congress leader Sam Pitroda, ex-adviser to former prime minister Manmohan Singh.

Reacting to the remarks, Union Minister Anurag Thakur hit out at Gandhi over his claims of being under surveillance by intelligence agencies and accused him of maligning India on foreign soil after facing successive electoral setbacks. “Pegasus is not in Rahul Gandhi’s phone but in his mind,” he said.

Thakur wondered what prevented Gandhi and other Congress leaders from submitting their phones to a Supreme Court-appointed technical committee that probed the Pegasus snooping issue.

“We can understand his hatred towards the prime minister, but the conspiracy to malign the country on foreign soil with the help of foreign friends raises questions on the agenda of the Congress,” the information and broadcasting minister told reporters here.

Thakur said Gandhi was aware of the electoral rout the Congress was facing in the assembly elections and had resorted to levelling allegations from foreign soil.

“Once again, the Congress lost in the elections but their bankruptcy was evident when they lost no opportunity to malign India from foreign soil,” he said.

Hitting back at Thakur and the BJP for its criticism of Gandhi, the Congress cited instances of Prime Minister Modi going abroad and allegedly raising internal politics and criticising the Congress.

“I have seen those foolish statements given by Anurag ‘Golimaaro’ Thakur,” Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate said in an apparent reference to the ‘Golimaro’ slogans purportedly raised at a public meeting of Thakur last year.

She urged the information and broadcasting minister him to listen to Gandhi’s full lecture.

On BJP’s criticism that Gandhi was “maligning” the country from foreign soil, Shrinate said the kind of statements Modi had made in places such as Shanghai, Toronto, California, Seoul and Abu Dhabi on internal politics and against the leading Opposition party of the country, if those are recounted then the BJP will have no place to hide.

If they listen to Rahul Gandhi’s lecture, they would get to know that he has talked about democracy and how the media, judiciary and the Opposition are intimidated and how it is important for agencies to remain impartial, she said.

“He (Gandhi) has talked about strengthening democracy. Those who give statements of ‘Golimaaro’ from stage and become cabinet minister from minister of state, they can never understand the meaning of these remarks,” she said.

Congress’ head of media and publicity department Pawan Khera said the party would like to advise the BJP that they should stop such activities which are shameful to even discuss.

“So if they stop doing such activities, we will stop discussing them. There is an allegation on you (BJP) took the help of Israel to snoop into the phones of Opposition and your own leaders. They don’t feel ashamed of that, but if it is discussed they feel shame,” he said.

The BJP thinks that England will not find out about their raid on BBC if the Congress does not discuss it, he said.

“We are living in a different era we are not living in the 17th or 18th century where news travelled at the speed of a camel cart or at the speed of a pigeon. Now if I am talking to you anybody sitting in Papua New Guinea can hear me out,” Khera said.

In an apparent swipe at Prime Minister Modi, Khera claimed that from foreign soil he made fun of the country. “The kind of activities you are involved in, you should first be ashamed of that. We will stop discussing them then so that you don’t feel ashamed,” the Congress leader said.

Earlier, the BJP made light of Rahul Gandhi’s allegation that he was being snooped upon, saying the Congress leader was “hallucinating” and makes such claims as he wants to create headlines wherever he goes.

“What we can say for Rahul Gandhi’s hallucinations. If he makes his (Congress) MoU with China public, we will be interested and people of India will also like to know. Who is interested in his telephonic conversations,” BJP spokesperson Tom Vadakkan told reporters.

Vadakkan noted that the Supreme Court has closed the Pegasus matter.

Army pushed back Chinese under Rajiv Gandhi’s leadership: Cong chief Kharge

    [ad_1]

Chennai: The Army under the leadership of Rajiv Gandhi valiantly fought and pushed back the Chinese in 1987 along the border and it is important that the Congress became strong once again for a progressive India, party president Mallikarjun Kharge said on Thursday.

After laying a wreath at the memorial of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi at Sriperumbudur near here, Kharge traced the late leader’s services to the nation.

“In 1986, Rajiv Gandhi granted statehood to Arunachal Pradesh despite Chinese opposition. Later, in 1987, during the military standoff in Tawang, the Indian government ensured that we did not give up our claims along the border. Thus, Indian Army under the leadership of Rajiv Gandhi valiantly fought and pushed back the Chinese,” Kharge said.

For the unity, integrity and progress of the country, it is important that the Congress should become strong once again, he said in a statement released here by the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee.

It is only the Congress party that can build a modern and progressive India. “In this fight for building a modern and progressive India, Rajiv Gandhi will always remain a source of inspiration for the Congress party and the youth of our country,” Kharge added.

By-election results: Cong wins 3, BJP and ally 2; TMC suffers shock defeat in WB

    [ad_1]

New Delhi: The assembly by-election results on Thursday brought some solace for the Congress as it wrested one seat each from the BJP and the TMC in Maharashtra and West Bengal respectively and retained a seat in Tamil Nadu with DMK’s support, while the BJP and its ally AJSU bagged one seat each in the western state and Jharkhand.

The ruling Trinamool Congress in West Bengal suffered a shock defeat in Sagardighi which was won by Congress’ Bayron Biswas by 22,986 votes. It is the only seat held by the Congress in the state assembly.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee alleged the Congress and the CPI(M) had entered into an understanding with the BJP to defeat the Trinamool Congress with their “immoral” alliance.

Banerjee also said that her party will go it alone in the 2024 elections, “with the support of common people” and the Congress should refrain from calling itself anti-BJP.

“For the Sagardighi loss, I do not blame anyone… But, there is an immoral alliance, which we strongly condemn. The BJP transferred its votes to the Congress…. everyone played the communal card. The BJP, of course, played the communal card. The Congress, CPI(M), however, turned out to be bigger players in this regard,” she told
    reporters

By-election to the constituency, seen as a prestige fight for state Congress president Adhir Chowdhury in his home district of Murshidabad, was necessitated following the death of state minister Subrata Saha in December last year.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) managed to hold on to Chinchwad seat in Maharashtra’s Pune but suffered a setback as it failed to Kasba Peth Assembly seat, its stronghold in the district, as Congress candidate Ravindra Dhangekar defeated the saffron party nominee Hemant Rasane.

The BJP held the seat for 28 years. Girish Bapat, the current BJP MP from Pune, represented the seat five times till 2019.

Dhangekar, who was supported by Maha Vikas Aghadi allies Nationalist Congress Party and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), polled 73,194 votes while Rasane received 62,244 votes, as per figures on the Election Commission’s website after the final round of counting.

While the party’s performance was dismal in the assembly poll in Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya , Congress general secretary communications Jairam Ramesh said the bypoll results were “very encouraging”.

“We are building the Congress for the future and those who thought they will make it big by breaking the Congress have not achieved any success,” Ramesh said in an apparent dig at TMC.

The bypolls saw the first direct contest between the ruling BJP-Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and the opposing MVA after the change of government in Maharashtra in June last year.

As the bypolls had become an issue of prestige for the MVA as well as the ruling Shinde-BJP coalition in the state, senior leaders like NCP president Sharad Pawar, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis campaigned for their respective candidates.

In Chinchwad seat, BJP’s Ashwini Jagtap was ahead with 1.12 lakh votes against NCP’s Nana Kate who had bagged around 84,000 votes. The election commission
was yet to formally declare the result at 8 pm.

    The
byelection was necessitated due to the death of incumbent BJP MLAs Mukta Tilak (Kasba) and Laxman Jagtap (Chinchwad).

Ruling DMK-backed Congress nominee EVKS Elangovan won in the Erode East byelection, with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin terming it a public endorsement of the “Dravidian model of governance” of his 22-month-old government.

Elangovan won more than one lakh of 1.7lakh votes polled on February 27.

With the “historic and grand win”, the ground was being prepared for an even iggervictory of the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA) in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, Stalin told reporters.

BJP state president K Annamalai said he did not see it as an endorsement of the government’s performance and indicated factors like “sympathy” were also there, apparently referring to Elangovan being the father of E Thirumahan Everaa, the Congress MLA whose demise in January necessitated the byelection.

AJSU Party candidate Sunita Choudhary won from Jharkhand’s Ramgarh defeating UPA-backed Congress’ Bajrang Mahto by a margin of 21,970 votes, the Election Commission said.

The AJSU Party, which tied up with the BJP for the by-poll, secured 1,15,669 votes, while the Congress, an ally of the ruling JMM-led coalition, bagged 93,699 votes after the completion of counting, it said.

The by-election was necessitated due to the disqualification of Congress legislator Mamta Devi, following her conviction in a criminal case.

The EC had in January announced that bypolls to the Lakshadweep Lok Sabha seat, along with six Assembly seats spread over five states – Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Tamil Nadu – would be held on February 27.

The Lakshadweep seat was vacated following the disqualification of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) member Mohammed Faizal after his conviction in a criminal case.

However, on January 30, the EC withheld the Lakshadweep Lok Sabha byelection l after the Kerala High Court suspended the conviction and sentence of Faizal.

On January 25, the poll panel “revised” the date of polling, from February 27 to February 26, for bypolls in two assembly seats of Maharashtra’s Pune district after it was informed about the dates clashing with scheduled class 12 and graduation exams there.

In Arunachal Pradesh’s Lumla seat, BJP candidate Tsering Lhamu has declared elected the MLA without a contest on February 10.

Lhamu, the wife of former MLA Jambey Tashi, was the only candidate who filed her nomination for the by-election which was necessitated due to the death of her husband in November last year.

Cong retains Erode East Assembly seat; Elangovan wins with huge margin of 66,000 votes

    [ad_1]

Erode: The ruling DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA) on Thursday retained the Erode East bypoll segment in this western Tamil Nadu town with an emphatic win against the K Palaniswami-led AIADMK, prompting Chief Minister M K Stalin to bill it as an endorsement of his near two year-old government’s “Dravidian model” of governance.

Palaniswami charged the ruling dispensation with “misuse of authority, money power and violence” to win the election.

Setting a record of sorts, SPA candidate EVKS Elangovan of the Congress received more than one lakh of the around 1.70 lakh votes polled on February 27, galloping ahead of his nearest AIADMK rival KS Thennarasu by around 66,000 votes.

At the end of 15 rounds of counting, Elangovan, a former TNCC president and ex-union minister, polled a little over 1.10 lakh votes, becoming the first candidate to cross the one lakh votes mark in the constituency, since its creation in 2010 following the delimitation excercise.

Thennarasu, a former legislator from here, got around 44,000 votes, according to Election authorities.
Nam Tamizhar Katchi’s Meneka Navaneethan and DMDK’s Anand forfeited deposit.

A total of 77 candidates were in the fray.

Much prestige was invested by both the DMK and its archrival AIADMK in the fiercely contested electoral battle as this was the first by-poll since the former came to power in 2021, and a year ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.

With the “historic and grand win”, the ground was being prepared for an even bigger victory of the SPA in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, Stalin told reporters in Chennai.

“During the campaign I repeatedly sought people’s support for the Dravidian model of governance. People have given a verdict saying it should be done with more vigour,” he said.

DMK pitches the Dravidian model of governance as an inclusive development model.

“I sought an endorsement of the DMK government’s Dravidian model and asked them to gauge our government. People have gauged and have strengthened this government,” he added.

Elangovan lauded the honest and sincere propaganda work by the DMK Ministers and members of the party for his victory. He assured that as MLA he would implement all required developmental works in the constituency with the help of the CM.

S Muthusamy, Tamil Nadu Minister for Urban Development and Housing and a local strongman, said the victory showed the public faith in the incumbent government. DMK and Congress supporters celebrated Elangovan’s win.

Palaniswami, in a statement, thanked those who had voted for his party and levelled allegations of irregularities against the DMK to win the bypoll.

Various instances of alleged irregularities, including ‘herding’ of people by the DMK during campaign was taken up with the authorities concerned by the AIADMK, but to no avail, he said.

“Atrocities and fascist procedures will not win forever; will soon perish,” he said.

A distraught Thennarasu alleged money power won and claimed “democracy lost”.
Though rival AIADMK leader O Panneerselvam initially fielded his nominee, he later withdrew him.

BJP state president K Annamalai said he did not see the win as an endorsement of the government’s performance and indicated factors like “sympathy” were also there, apparently referring to Elangovan being the father of deceased Congress MLA E Thirumahan Everaa, whose demise in January necessitated the bypoll.

People might have preferred the ruling coalition nominee knowing that his defeat would not make much difference.

As many as 18 Congress MLAs were elected in the 2021 polls and the strength came down by one due to the vacancy created following Thirumahan Everaa’s death. Its strength will now be 18 again, in the 234-member DMK-dominated House.

AIADMK has a total of 66 legislators.

Hindenburg report: Cong chalking out social media strategy to corner BJP

    [ad_1]

New Delhi: The Congress, which has launched a series of agitational programmes over the Hindenburg report on the Adani Group, is now planning a wider social media campaign to reach out to the public and corner the BJP government at the Centre on this issue.

Senior Congress leader K.C. Venugopal has enlisted a series of programmes for the block-level leaders and workers, who have been asked to share their agitational programmes with him via e-mail.

“Our uncompromising fight shall continue for the next three months and a detailed social media campaign to expose the government-Adani nexus will follow soon,” he said.

The Congress has planned a series of agitations in front of nationalised banks and LIC offices at the block level from March 6-10, before holding a ‘Chalo Raj Bhavan’ march in different states on March 13.

“District-level ‘Parda Fash’ rallies will be held in all the states will be end in the end of March, which will continue in April. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and other top leaders of the party will address these meetings,” Venugopal said.

Prosecute Sisodia under sedition law: Cong memorandum to L-G

    [ad_1]

New Delhi: Former Congress MP Sandeep Dikshit along with Delhi’s former ministers Mangat Ram Singhal and Kiran Walia on Wednesday gave a memorandum to Lt. Governor’s office to probe former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the snooping case under the Sedition Act.

The memorandum states, “To acquire a capacity to listen to conversations, gather intelligence and information and to ‘spy’ on people and institutions in the National Capital territory that includes Government of India, the Defence establishments, intelligence agencies of the Union Government, etc., is a clear case of sedition.”

The memorandum alleged that the Government of Delhi, with full knowledge of its Chief Minister, the entire cabinet and in the presence of senior government officials sanctioned and setup a unit that had the capacity and intent to collect information, electronic data, etc., with a capacity to intercept and listen to/ observe/ record data, which is neither allowed to this government constitutionally or in any other way a part of its duties and responsibilities, then it is not just a case of corruption.

“We believe that this invokes the UAPA, or similar Acts and the CBI and NIA must be directed by yourself to investigate under laws governing sedition and anti-national activities and as evidence of wrongdoing has already been found, the concerned Chief Minister and ministers of Delhi government and officials must be prosecuted under such sedition and anti-national laws as maybe found applicable in this,” it said.

Telangana: Confusion over Muslim quota, Cong alleges conspiracy

    [ad_1]

Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader Mohammed Shabbir Ali has called for an investigation into the recent confusion regarding the 4% quota for Muslims under the BC-E category in jobs and education in Telangana.

Shabbir Ali stated that a one percent decrease in the Muslim BC-E reservation would have hurt the interests of thousands of poor Muslims.

“A copy of Roster Point No 69 of General Rules showing a reduction in the 4% Muslim quota to 3% was circulated on social media in November 2022,” said Shabbir Ali.

Congress party sought clarification from the state government regarding the reduction in the quota. In response, an unsigned rejoinder was sent to the media claiming that there was no change in the percentage.

In her note issued on January 23, Chief Secretary A Shanti Kumari clarified that no changes had been made to the rules regarding the Muslim (BC-E Category). Roster Point Nos 19, 44, 69, and 94 pertain to the BC-E category (Muslim), which is 4% and remains unchanged.

A few days later Telangana Home Minister Mahmood Ali went on record to say that the roster was morphed by some miscreants.

“These clarifications are essential for the continuation of the 4% Muslim quota introduced by the previous Congress regime in 2004-05,” said Shabbir Ali.

Congress party alleged that there was a larger conspiracy behind the confusion over the 4% Muslim BC-E quota. It said that the miscreants involved in spreading false rumors must be punished severely to maintain peace and order in Telangana.

Shabbir Ali demanded that the state government register a proper FIR with the Cyber Crime cell to trace and punish the miscreants.

MP court grants bail to Cong leader held for ‘be ready to kill PM Modi’ remark

    [ad_1]

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh High Court on Monday granted bail to former minister Raja Pateria over his alleged remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi in December last year. The senior Congress leader, who has been in jail for nearly the last two and a half months, finally got relief as his previous attempts to secure bail were rejected by both the district and High Court.

Pateria’s alleged remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi — “be ready to kill PM Modi, killing in the sense of defeat in the elections,” had created a political storm in Madhya Pradesh and his comments were condemned by leaders cutting across party lines. The Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee had issued an official statement and condemned Pateria’s remarks.

Following this, state Home Minister Narottam Mishra directed the police to register an FIR against the Congress leader.

Subsequently, Pateria was arrested from his residence in Hatta village of Damoh district on December 13 last year. According to the police, Pateria was booked under sections 451, 504, 505 (1)(b), 505 (1)(C), 506, 153-B (1)(C) of the IPC.

Since then he has been in jail, and his multiple bail applications were rejected by the High Court. While rejecting his previous bail plea, Justice Sanjay Dwivedi of the High Court had made a long observation, which read — “It is noticed that it has become a fashion for some public leaders to seek popularity of the followers without caring for the consequence of deliverance. This practice is not only belittling the image of public leaders in the society but also becoming a cause of increase in criminality in politics.”

While addressing a gathering of tribals in his home town on December 11, Pateria had said, “Modi will end elections as he will continue to divide people on the basis of caste and religion. He is a threat to the Indian Constitution. If you want to save the Constitution, be ready to kill him.”
